Crazy busy day today. On my feet doing a physical project for three hours at work. Came home and cut the grass for the first time this year. Then the motivation kicked in and I took down our fence (which was long overdue). That was another hour and a half of physical work. Sore now!

Not bad at all. That little vacay weight will come off easy!
Thank you! I was surprised at how little I gained, in all honesty! I'm hoping it does come off pretty easy! I am 100% back to the gym tomorrow. My alarm is set and I already have my breakfast, lunch and snacks logged tomorrow. Also, my gym bag is packed and ready to go!

I’ve done terrible on the Mini Challenge lately. I’ve been logging and staying very close to or under my calorie goal of 1200, but it’s been tough to get any exercise in other than scootering to the bathroom! But I did weigh in.

I'm actually very happy about this weight. I took the last few weeks off for my birthday. I ate like a total A-Hole. I had cake and icecream for breakfast every day for a week lol. I enjoyed myself and didn't worry about calories. Last week I weighed myself and I went from 235.4 to 238.0. I was surprised I had only gained 2.6 lbs. This past week I got my head back in the game and focused on my calories. I went from 238 to 234.6. I am so glad I am back on track this week.

Woo! This is good. I’ve really been sticking to my calories, eating generally better food, and moving pretty much every day of the week. I’m happy to see the scale go the other way...but I’m also focused on how my body feels which is so much better than when I was eating crap and not moving.
@mickey10111, this is fantastic, Mikayla....not just the number on the scale, but how you are feeling, too!! Glad you have made the cause and effect observation when it comes to moving and eating healthy foods and feeling so much better!!2 -
@Tracie_Lord Heck yes I would count 30 minutes up and down stairs as exercise. Holy moly that's a lot of stairs!

@cmhubbard92, that is a great result on the scale for having been on vacation for a week! Once you get back to your old routines that little gain will be gone in no time!!0 -

@bethann51774, you are doing great, Beth!! Many of us, post surgery, unable to exercise, wouldn't be so careful about what we ate. Instead we might throw ourselves a little pity party with all of our favourite junk food! Not you!!1 -
