I am glad to hear from you, GREG. (@Navydaddjtc)
And, Steve (@steplaj), thanks l for running the board today.
It ALL went South at work. I haven't picked up my phone until now. I didn't even eat until 2pm. I did make up the calories with waffles for dinner and I hope I don't regret that later. I know I did the right things, but wow it was hectic.3 -

🗣Comments: Dipped into my son’s chips and guac and some enlightened ice cream (like the whole pint🤪😖) today again. UGH. Been so ravenous from all of the additional training I’ve acquired this week— could not stick to my prelogged meals or my IF fasting day yesterday or today—will try again tomorrow.😣 .... on to Thursday and will try harder to control myself.😣

It's 9:09 pm and I am going to sleep. I am happy to report that today I broke 10000 steps for the first time since my surgery. I am at 12272. I think I am going to be sore tomorrow, but I am still glad to be able to do 10000 steps a day again.4

I keep writing out and intro but I do it very late and night and end up falling asleep
Or accidentally hitting the wrong thing and erasing it all. I like the mobile version but I do run into problems sometimes with thumb coordination lol!
I’m Meg, 36 years old with an 8 and a 4 year old at home. I work full time and I’m married to a farmer/volunteer firefighter so i would say that life is very busy and I am often on solo parenting/homeowner duty when I’m at home. It’s not always something I am thrilled about so I’ve made poor coping choices in the way of food and drink.
I lost 30 pounds in 2017, then in 2018 I got a period that lasted 5 months straight and you can imagine what that did to my eating and exercise regimen. I gained 40 back and ended up just over 200 pounds.
I don’t have all those issues under control but I can’t let those excuses continue to sabotage my health so I’m working to get myself back into healthy habits. My uncle recently died of lung cancer caused by smoking. 2 of my cousins quit smoking cold turkey the day he was diagnosed. It was a wake up call. I’m not a smoker but I realized my eating habits are just as dangerous and I know what will happen if I follow the path I’m on. His death has inspired me to view my binging as destructive as if I were smoking a pack a day. It’s made me a) more compassionate toward smokers and b) more determined to break my habits for the benefit of my health and the security of my family.
Anyway, that’s me and that’s where I am at this moment in time on this journey. I’m glad to be along for the ride with all of you and wish you the best month yet!

AFTER ALL OF MY CRAPPY EATING THESE PAST FEW WEEKS
I DECIDED TO REALLY MAKE ME FEEL CRAPPIER AND STEP ON THE SCALES THIS MORNING AND ALL KINDS OF BELLS AND WHISTLES WENT OFF
SO I DECIDED TO GET MY STUFF TOGETHER AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT
I CAME UP WITH A 14 DAY MEAL PLAN
FOR EXERCISING ALL I CAN DO IS WALK SO I'LL FIGURE OUT HOW MANY STEPS A DAY IS GOING TO BE OKAY DURING RECOVERY AND TRY AND HIT THAT
NOPE YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW FOR THE NUMBERS. I FAILED ME AND THAT'S NOT OKAY WITH ME .

@STEPLAJ POSTED
Finally, in past months we have had a "buddy" group where you could post if you were interested in being partnered with a "fitness buddy" to work with you along your fitness journey. I would like to ask everyone what people think about reinstating the buddy system and pairing people up once again. This system helped in the past with things like accountability and support and built some really strong friendships.
If you are interested, please tag Beka ( @beka3695 ) Greg ( @Navydaddjtc ) and myself in a post and let us know...
Thank You, Good Luck, and Have Fun!

Hi Team
Good to see you all for this new month and challenge.
I am Maera mom of 1. I was chubby all my childhood. I started watching my eating and exercising alot in 2015 and lost 22lbs which I kept off for 3yrs
I am now at my heaviest weight 220
After my baby I just can't find the motivation I had before. I loose 5kg then fall back to overeating and put it right back.
Am 27 and I have 66lbs to loose to get to my goal weight. Am still here cuz I won't give up.
Am scared of what my disordely habits can do to my health but I rely on God for self control n healing. I stress eat and boredom eat.
I will try to be more regular here and contribute more.
Ok weigh in day Thurs
Pw : 220
Cw: 220
Good luck for this month.
My goal for April is to loose 14lbs. Sounds alot but it's my target and am on it🙏
See u next Thurs with good news ( weightloss) I promise😆2 -

@Navydaddjtc 1. I am in for a fitness buddy.

Daily check in:
I survived my 12 hour day!
I have fewer steps than yesterday because I was tired and listened to my body.
Eating was better today. I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The last two days, I didn't have time to eat and crammed all my calories in at the end of the day.
My job is busier than I want to be, but I am released for light-to-moderate exercise and so I am definitely going to yoga Saturday morning. I will probably have to work after that, but I will not miss class at 9 on Saturday.
