🗣Comments/Goals: Macros have been off all week—too many carbs 🙅🏻♀️DAMN NACHOS & GUAC and ENLIGHTENED😖🤤😣🤦🏻♀️ I did it again, caved in at the end of another stressful day🤷🏻♀️ I gotta get a grip on the food choices I'm making lately. Totally failed this week's 5/2 IF plan---disappointing🙇🏻♀️ I need to reset my brain💥🧠💥👌🏻😆…probably looking at a gain tomorrow since I did not fast both days this week and had a heavy calorie/carb weekend, plus did a lot of heavy strength training.
To remain positive: I managed a 21 hour fasting window today and week of consistent exercise and water intake.
My goal for next week is to eat clean through the weekend and complete my 2 fasting days.

NANCY, HOW DO YOU DRINK SO MUCH WATER EACH DAY?
I know it's tough to get on a roll with water/fluids... cold weather can make it tougher too---hence the need for tea!
I use a Tervis 24oz. with a lid that is fitted for a straw (easy to sip while I exercise);

I fill it throughout the day....and I also have disposable 20 oz. hot cups with lids next to my Keurig at home, so I grab two each morning, one for coffee and one for tea---then I refill them throughout the day while I'm on the move from desk to gym to home to kiddos pickups etc. I count my 20 ounce teas as water---nothing added--just a tea bag, decaf usually, although this week I'm detoxing with Green Tea. And I end each day with a 33.8 ounce SmartWater which contains electrolytes.

Greg, my friend, it does not matter what your plan was. The human body retains fluid after surgery. That's what it does. That's biology and none of us can beat it. This will start moving the right direction. Hang in there.2 -

This has been the longest work week ever. But I didn't quit. I gave it my best shot and I put out the five biggest fires.
In the meantime, I haven't logged anything since Monday and was trying to eat at maintenance for a couple of weeks to give my body what it needs to heal. But I have lost 4 pounds since Monday morning. What the heck was up with my gallbladder that making me hold weight???

It's the weekend, but let's not lose focus. Eat according to the plan. Get in some exercise. Drink plenty of water.
