@cydneebauman As a chip replacement, I love Ritz Thin and Crisp! Bunch of great flavors and super crispy, very satisfying.

I was really proud of myself today. I did my own yard work for the 1st time in years. My yard has a bunch of big bare spots so today I raked the spots to loosen the soil, dropped down some top soil, seed and straw. I also set up a sprinkler to water it. I'm really hoping the bare spots fill in a little before the crazy hot weather hits.
Since my weight loss rate has dropped to a crawl this month I'm going to try some metabolism boosts.....some that you all have talked about. Drinking a lot more water and adding green tea are tops on my list. I tried green tea with Swerve today and it was good. I already eat a lot of lean protein. I plan to follow the Doc's advice and get in 3 cardio workouts per week. I need to work on getting more sleep too. This is an article I was reading: https://healthline.com/nutrition/10-ways-to-boost-metabolism#section9

I like boiled eggs for the protein, carrot sticks/red pepper slices with hummus dip, blueberries/raspberries, steamed veggies, bone broth/soup, protein bar or protein shake, coffee w/stevia drops and a little cashew/almond milk....or some hot green tea.1 -

My favorite is a cheese stick (80 calories and good source of protein). I also like Quest protein bars. They have about 200 calories but lots of protein and fiber. YQ Yogurt is another favorite (130 calories, 15 protein and 9 sugar). I eat very, very little processed sugar so I'm OK with the 9g of sugar.

I'm dairy free, I miss cheese and yogurt ☹0 -

Have you ever used Swerve as a Sweetener? It doesn't have an aftertaste at all.1 -

Oh no. So sorry.0 -
@cydneebauman Definitely pickles most of the time, I do also make "snow cones" by blending ice and topping with Mio or some generic version of that, but generally speaking, I tend to try to stay away from snacks altogether, and stick to an intermittent fasting schedule. I find that I do better if I don't eat all day.
Really, anything like pickles is probably a good choice, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, berries in general really, all low calorie, low sugar fruits, a good option for a snack that's non-dairy...
@CindyJNC1963 Good with the bald patches in your yard, I can't for any reason seem to grow grass no matter how hard I try, I just grow and cut the weeds as if it was grass. I think that it's amazing that you've come this far and can now do your own yard work! That's super exciting!
Also, weight loss slowing is a natural part of the process and I know that you're working with a specialist, and that they've made suggestions, but hopefully they've told you that this is normal, and can happen during the course of your weight loss journey. I think your plan to break through it is solid and you'll be losing quickly again in no time!!2 -
@BEASTFIELD314 Glad to see you getting back into the swing of things! Good luck with your early morning routine, I find that I do better if I don't plan for it, but just when I wake up early randomly as I do a lot, I just decide to get out of bed and do things, start my workout early, go for a walk before the sun comes up, etc. I love that you're planning on getting up early and getting to it, but don't be too disappointed if it's hard for a bit while you make a new routine.
@tinak33 You and your nemesis, Candy, need to work things out lol. It will still be there when you've reached your goals....so you can go ahead and put it off, lol.
@batgirl140 Great job today! Awesome getting in lots of water, that's something I didn't too extremely well today.
@SLIMn2016 Great job with the meal prep, it's a lot easier to stick to the plan when you already have the food ready to go!!
@gjaholy33 Glad your mom's doing better, and I think that's a great eye-opening assignment, hope you enjoy working on it!
@o0kody0o Great job sticking to the plan today!! Great job taking it one day at a time!!3 -

I miss greek yogurt too--- I can't stomach most dairy, so I am dairy free mostly, except for some cheeses.0 -

I have only tried the swerve powdered (like powdered sugar) to make icing once---and it wasn't so good in that instance--- I'll have to try give it a shot again. Thanks Cindy!0 -

Weigh in week: May week 1
Weigh in day: Monday
Previous Week's weight: 288.3

Okay, so a loss of 0.1 lbs isn't great, but it's still a loss rather than a gain, so I'll take it! Here's to a good May.3 -
Weekly weigh-in

Week/ May week 1
PW: 160 lbs
CW: 160 lbs
No loss this week. I weigh myself daily so I can log it in the Happy Scale app to better understand my fluctuations and during last week I saw 158 on the scale. However, Monday is my “official” weigh-in day and this morning I was 160, so no change from last Monday which is fine. That’s what I get for eating the snowballs and FOUR packed fajitas (with lots of salsa and sour cream) the other night lol. But they were sooo good 😋 Anyway, here’s to a fresh start this week...we’ve got this 💪💟2 -

Doesn't it feel good to be able to accompish somehting you haven't been able to do in a while? I love getting out in the yard, albiet it is harder than it used to be. Great job!

A lot of people say you shouldn't weigh daily, but I definitely thinks it helps to see how food affects you. Like salt, etc. You can learn how much it adds to your weight, and how long it takes for your body to "normalize". Also, even if it is like .2 pounds, it helps motivate me to keep going.
And... FAJITAS! OMG YESS! What do you like to put in your fajitas, and wht spices do you use?0
