It sounds like everyone had a wonderful day today! I, on the other hand, worked an unexpected 13hr shift and only got around a 30min break. I didn't have lunch and I came home and just devoured everything that I could find in the space of about 15mins. I don't even know how to log what I just ate??? I might just forget it tonight and start my 1day off this week early tonight....I'm not answering my phone tomorrow....in fact....I might just throw my phone in the toilet or something just so that I don't have to lie when I don't answer people back . Nighty night everyone! I'm going to the park or something tomorrow (they don't have cell reception there)2

When I worked my 12 hr in the ICU we were allowed 45 mins coffee break, 1 hr lunch break and 1hr dinner break. If at any we were unable to take lunch or dinner we were compensated
monetarily.( Per the Union)0 -

I'm so frustrated with myself. I've been circling these same 10 lbs for 2 months. And I know why. I've been distracted with unnecessary stuff and let my emotions derail my progress. But I absolutely refuse to give up! December 31 will see me in a far healthier, thinner state than last year.

@lk2011 I am the 911 dispatch supervisor and we are changing over the entire system to satellite imagery and voice recognition. However, when that system fails (horrible techies here) it has been taking out the backup system with it. When that happens, it is literally back to the old school style punch switch board. I am the only one qualified to operate that now, so I have to be there every time they work on the system. I can't leave or go anywhere in case of failure. Plus, our county is in crisis as far as operators go....7 of us for 20K people. Our days off are far and few between. I love my job, but yeah, we're screwed if anyone gets sick or hurt.5 -
