I'm sorry for being nonresponsive. Between work and a huge loss of motivation it's became a struggle to do anything.

My name is Apple and I joined MFP again to lose weight before my autumn birthday.
I was on a keto diet for a month but I found it hard to stick to. Now I'm just trying to eat less and eat more nutritious food.

1. Choose healthier snacks - did well during the day but then had a mini blizzard after supper

So I really cut down the carbs this past week and I feel like it helped a ton. I’m kind of at the point where I want to start maintaining and toning, so I have to figure out the macros for that. Didn’t do any cardio this week, only yoga and strength training.

Exercise: 35 minutes on the treadmill and then hours of decorating, hosting and cleaning. Over 12,000 steps.
The baby shower was a huge success and the sweet mama loved it! 15 women came and we had a wonderful time. But I am so glad it's over! I'm tired and have vowed to not throw another party. At least not until I have another good reason. One of my friends made a bouquet of cupcakes that I have to share with you all. *see below
My goal starting tomorrow for the rest of June is to have no refined sugar or carbs. I'm going to see if that will help jump start my weight loss before I have to seriously go hardcore Keto. I sent the rest of the cupcakes and candy home with the guest of honor to give to her three little boys. My house is now sugar-free!

My apologies to everyone if I have been a little quiet, I had to get a masters dissertation in last week, also have my head down as I have 2 x 10k next weekend one on Saturday and one on Sunday (plus working)
Calories; some days over, some under, but carbs under every day
Water; over
Exercise, can I just say a lot, just finished 3 hours today, and been ramping things up
Tomorrow; more of the same
For anyone who is feeling a little tired when losing weight, especially for those of us cutting carbs, it may be worth trying to take some electrolytes. I've started using them in my water bottle at the gym for the longer sessions, and they really do help, not just un the gym, but if I feel tired when at home they help perk me up. It's easy to forget our bodies do not hold on to the sodium, magnesium, and potassium as much when eating low carb so a little supplementing can really help
