Was mia yesterday. it was an odd day for me. i was busy. i found a job opening in the same company in a successful branch. so i applied for it. the drive would not be as nice but it won't be longer. i also had an appt with my attorney who looked over the prenup for me. he wanted a few things added so i think it was beneficial to have a second opinion on my behalf. i did not over eat yesterday. but didn't drink enough water. i get my hair cut tonite but this morning i am going to the court house to fill out the marriage application. then to work.
I am going to catch up with everyone now and i will post my pictures later today.
@Mrsbell8well first of all thanks for talking to me yesterday. i was really feeling overwhelmed with everything i have going on. thanks for the book suggestion as well, i started reading it last night. i planted my herbs in patio pots too. the garden is way to wet to plant the rest of my stuff. ohhh and it sounds lke a lovey evening playing gin rummy. i miss the fire flys from my old property. we don't have any here. those shoes and that out fit look great. i bet you look amazing in it. i love your story about the cottage. love your spiralizer! i am in love with zoodles! a little olive oil and lemon juice. mmmmmm
@lenka1 omgosh your daughter is soooo cute. what a little dolly!! and you weekend sounds wonderful. glad you enjoyed it.
@sleepymom5 i have not given up. nor will i. this is the last time i am losing this weight. look at that self care! you bought a scale and something to drink your water from! that is wonderful. you be careful in atlanta, that is a really big city. and you are a good friend. it sounds like you are doing great. i am glad your mom is some better. and yes those uti's can be bad in our old lady folks. my mom has chronic uti's. i love your mandolin!!
@carlsoda i have done gluten free, i have also done sugar free. nothing seems to help. i had lyme disease and although it is in remission, it had already done it's damage to my body. i will probably never be pain free. i have often wondered about madison reed. and the nearest trader joes to me is about a 45 minute drive. sometimes it is worth the trip!! i love trade joes! what great self care.the new you thanks you!! and i guess that is one good thing with all the rain. it has rained almost every day here since march. we are flooded.
@amsandos yayayay a pound down. that is great news. the scale is moving in the right direction. ohhh no. not willy nilly. i am sorry the news has made you feel upset. Hey, "it is not for you" good job. feel your feelings don't eat your feelings!! okkkk thanks for sharing with me about your stuggles. i know how hard this is. but rewriting who you are is very difficult. remember the ball on the sand hill. keep at it and eventually you will create new pathways. how did your feelings taste? it sounds silly and it is but we all do it. i know how scary life can be sometimes and you have the right idea. if worry won't make it better.... don't. easier said than done but worth the practice!!
@Cafelelia i hope you meet your work deadlines. you got this girl. ohhh yea. love the coffee. and thanks i love irises.
@eyesopennow lol i love you shades!! i tried them once and they made me wake up panicy. i thought i was blind for a minute. and i hope you enjoy your fish chowder. you are a rock star!!
@GingerPwr that is encouraging. maintains are good.
@gottagetthisdown woooo whooo.... nice loss.
@jedaschultz i will request a excused! thanks for checking in!!
@phoebe112476 yes! nice loss. the 160s are right around the corner. oh no, you pup is missing. i will pray she finds her way back to you before the move.
@Shirin_K ohhh look at the new you go. having fun, being active and being healthy! good job.
@nstephenson01 ok. i will let them know
@lennoncpa ohhhh no. the hunger bug got you at the grocery. eat when your hungry and stop when your satisified. you got this.3 -

This is one of my favorite kitchen items. It is a water infuser. I like it with lemon, or orange, or strawberry. It makes drinking water more like a treat.3 -
Work in progress. What is it? MY body! What will I use it for? Great adventures, fun, swimming, running, loving, living life to its fullest.5 -
This is my work in progress. This is our finished basement. I haven't really decided where we're going with it. But I know I do not like it being the storage unit. So that is going to change over the summer. what I would really like is to build an indoor pool. I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon. But it is an amazing dream

Scale is back under the bed. I appreciate it’s worth for what it is. I woke up with over 8 hours sleep. I feel fit I feel terrific. Perhaps June I will get back down to business with CICO and push to the home stretch July 10th 1 year mark 60 pounds is my goal.4

@Mrsbell8well you look amazing. I am glad you put that scale back away. your eating right and living healthy. your good. keep building you!!2

It is a biological impossibility for your weight to go down every day. Daily fluctuations are NORMAL and even if you’ve been perfect on your weight loss plan, the number on the scale will go up on some days and go down on others.

Check in for: Tuesday
Logged food: Yes, under
Water: 40 oz
Steps and Exercise: 15,296 steps, 30 minute walk
Food and steps were good yesterday. I didn’t do yoga, so need to make time for that today.
Today’s goals: Log food and under calories , 64oz of water, 10,000 steps, and yoga.2 -
My work in progress is my home office. It became a bit of a family dumping ground over the years. When I started my business, I cleared it out & have been slowly decorating it. Without planning, it has a feminine vibe (probably because I live with 3 guys!) I still want to redo some lighting & maybe put in some custom shelving & a small piece of exercise equipment. Second photo is my meditation & physio spot in the office.

Daily Check in:Tuesday
Food: logged and on target
Water: 80oz
Exercise and steps:15eliptical, 15 stationary bike, 15 treadmill, full body strength and 9776 steps
I had a good day yesterday. I brought lunch(salad) to my Mom’s house, did her nails, went and got my nails done, did laundry, went to the gym, and brought dinner back to my Mom’, she wanted Pizza so I got two slices and a salad. I also cleaned out her freezer, put the things under the wheels on her bed, did some shopping for her apartment and cleaned up around her chair. My workout was really good too. I did strength and 15 on treadmill, stationary bike and elliptical. I need to watch the carbs and cut out the halo top at night. Still feeling the reward mentality and justifying it because it fits in my calories. Otherwise I am doing good with eating down here. Usually I would be doing the opposite. No drinking either, I have been having peppermint tea at night instead of a drink. Well got to go, I need to pack up and head to Georgia to see my friend. The hotel in Atlanta has a gym so I am going to get up early and use that. Then we head to my friends house an hour away. That hotel has no gym. Shannon is going to send me some apps she likes. I need to at least get 20-30 min of exercise in. I am going to continue not drinking and making sure I hit my mini goals. I head back to Florida on Saturday and then can get back into my normal routine that I have been doing here.
I will try to check in at least daily, I don't know if I will be able to get on in the morning and get my workout in. I will check in at night. Have a great day everyone!
@GingerPwr Glad that you are feeling in control again! Hugs!
@cyndiesstuff I am glad to hear you were just busy yesterday. I got a little nervous and couldn't reach out to you. I am also happy to hear that you applied for a different position. I think could make a world of difference for you. Hugs! What a huge finished basement! Even without the pool, so many things you can do there!
@Mrsbell8well I am going to do the same work in progress! Lol! I just need to take a pic! You are looking as lovely as ever!
@Cafelelia I love your office! I like how you can look out the window from your desk. I also love how you have your meditation area.

@Cafelelia & @cyndiesstuff thanks for the compliments and support! you both have nice spaces. @cafelelia I love the girly vibe you have going on. Such a pretty office space.
@phoebe112476 such wonderful activities about your life right now but so very sad and devastating about your pup. Praying your dog shows up or his found soon.2 -
GOOD AFTERNOON TEAM WEIGHT NO MORE
I HAVE JUST ADDED TO YOUR TEAM
@baby_carrit
PLEASE WELCOME HER TO YOUR TEAM
THANKS GREG1 -
Hello all, hope everyone is doing well or better!
I am feeling good! I have been staying on track. I definitely feel like the huge weight loss I had on Saturday was my body going crazy, lol. I am not sure why it dropped so much, but I weighed myself Sunday morning and I was up 3 pounds. I was good on Saturday, even at the BBQ, so I am not sure what happened. I am back down a pound, still up 2 from Saturday. I am hoping to break even by Saturday. I will be happy if my weight is the same on Saturday, since it was such a big loss.
I worked late last night and was so tired when I got home, so I didn't go to the gym or do my workout. I ate well, so I am feeling ok. I am going to try to get a workout in when I get home. My allergies have been awful, I feel very drained, but I need to push myself before I get back into a rut again and miss weeks of workouts.
@cyndiesstuff good luck with the final wedding plans. Your basement is huge, you can do lots with that space!
@Mrsbell8well you are looking good! The last few pounds are the hardest to lose.
@phoebe112476 so sorry your dog ran away! I'll say a prayer!
@Cafelelia your space looks great! I live with 3 guys as well, my hubby & 2 sons. I try to incorporate feminine details as much as possible, lol, but they resist.
@amsandos sorry you are going through a difficult time! Sounds like you are dealing with it and getting through it!
Have a wonderful day! Glad it is already Wednesday!4 -
@baby_carrit
Welcome to the team. Tell us a little about you. We are a friendly, helpful group and are here to support each other.2 -
I am running a bit behind, as always. Yesterday's pic of my favorite kitchen gadget.... I thought about the sous vide, or the instapot, or even the Henckel knives (everyone needs good knives!) But I settled on this:
The digital scale. What an education on portion control! Measuring food has led to forced choices. And it has helped avoid mistakes. Just today, the leftover steak (yes, there is such a thing!) from Memorial Day that I guessed was about 8 ounces was, in fact, 13 when I put it on the scale. Had to cut it in half and eat it for today's and tomorrow's lunch instead of all in one fat-boy food orgy today. Without the scale, I would have over-caloried and never really known how.3 -

My dog has been found. Such a huge relief!! She is in pretty bad shape. Too weak to walk and very thin/dehydrated - but I am so glad to have her here laying next to me. She stinks bad and needs a bath, but don’t want to stress her out more right now. So first we rest. Good lesson for me right now too as I have been going non-stop from from dawn till dusk for over a week. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.10 -
Hi gang and happy Wednesday. I am beyond frustrated with myself because I can’t seem to get back on track. I hate the way I’m feeling mentally and physically so you would think that would be enough of a motivation. The one thing I am consistent with is my exercise - which helps me from totally being down in the dumps. Anyways, I’m glad I have you guys to confess my behavior to! I want to be able to post positive comments so as long as you don’t stop hearing from me - I have a chance!! Does that craziness make any sense?!?!7
-
Here’s my project I am working in - my relationship with food! Every day is a new opportunity to learn about how I react to it in different situations!4 -
Daily Check in:Wednesday
Food: logged and under
Water: over 80oz
Exercise and Steps 15 Elliptical, 15 treadmill and 15 stationary bike. Over 8,000 steps
Great day! I worked out and then started my drive to Atlanta from Daytona Beach. I did detour in St. Augustine where we used to vacation when I was little. Took A1A up which is longer but takes you by the ocean. I am not sure when I will ever do that drive again so it was worth the trip. Stopped at the outlets for an hour, ate lunch, gassed up and headed to Atlanta. Over a 6 hour drive with one stop for gas and dinner. I brought stuff to make my wraps so I would stay on track. I was so happy not to have to find a place to eat and worry about what I was going to order. I am going to stop at a grocery store on the way back so I do the same thing on Saturday. I can't tell you how many times road trip = eating crap non stop. I am at the hotel waiting for my friend to arrive. Her flight was delayed. Tomorrow we drive over an hour to see my friend who had the stroke. I really don't know how everything is going to go so not sure how much I can check in. I will be more consistent starting Saturday night. I will try to get on as much as possible but I don't see these friends often so I don't want to be rude either. I will be weighing in on Friday. I am hoping for a good one.
Welcome @baby_carrit! Jump in and tell us a little about yourself! Which reminds me-hows it going @Moarrein?
@kirsten11872 Allergy season can be draining! Hope you were able to get to the gym. You have been doing great so keep it going! Did you get those terrible storms? I am in Fla but keep getting the alerts from back home and Sea Isle.
@pacsnc6 You are so sweet and welcoming!
@eyesopennow Wait...what is a souse vide?? And an instapot? Is that like a crock pot? I don't really know my way around the kitchen Lol! My eyes have been opened with the food scale too. I really overestimate my portions.
@GingerPwr How cool that you can make a bed spread! Do you knit or crochet? Do you find that relaxing? Good luck with the grading papers. You are almost done for the school year!
@phoebe112476 Thank you for posting!! I was so upset! Did she come home or did someone find her? I am so happy she is home with you!
@lennoncpa We are here for the good and the bad. Don't stop posting! I am glad that you are giving yourself credit for exercise. That is good and you are in a great routine. What are you doing that is getting you off track? Overeating? Making poor food choices? Since you are having trouble getting back on track, why don't you try to make one small change to get you back on track. Maybe no snacking at night or less carbs at dinner. Something that you can do that isn't too restrictive. Small changes add up.
@carlssoda How do you like that book? I read the Beck Diet solution and it was a game changer for me. I wonder which book came first? Maybe I need to continue with this one too..2 -

Here's the baby blanket I just finished for a friend. Just needs a rose applique as a final touch.

Daily check in for Wednesday May 29
Logged: yes, a little over
Water: not good
Steps: 7,422
Exercise: zero today
I’m low on energy this week. Veggies to eat in the car has been working well. Thank you for all your great suggestions.
Have a good night everyone.4 -
Well, my tooth drama is finally over (i hope) and after seeing 3 different specialists, they all said my best bet was pulling the whole thing out. So we did that today and now i have no back molar. We will discuss my implant options at my follow up visit, but for now i’m just happy it’s gone!
I went to the gym on monday, but missed yesterday & today. i’m doing a 28 Day ‘Fab, Fit, Fierce’ challenge which focuses on a different well-being sort of theme each day, so I spent some time tonight journaling the next few days worth of challenges so I know what’s ahead! Tomorrow is all about positivity! No complaining at work?! how will i ever make it, lol!
