That is great!...I can’t wait ( weight, get it?)... to shop somewhere besides big lady stores!6

My number for the day is 16. That’s the size of the jeans I bought yesterday! I was stuffing myself into tight 20/22’s last winter.
This is significant because I tried them on and bought them in a store! I’m 6ft tall, and in this world, women can be tall and thin or average height and fat... but not tall and fat. Regular stores are carrying more “long” lengths in regular sizes, but nothing past 16 or the occasional 18. The “talls” in most plus size stores are still too short for me. I was pretty much limited to ordering online from Old Navy, which meant a lot of returns when things didn’t fit right. Suddenly I have a lot more options on the racks in our local stores!
That’s awesome! I am also 6 foot tall with looong legs. I buy my pants from Maurice’s they are the only place that had fat tall pants!

I'm 49
Female
5'6" on a good day
Started 9/8 at 256.0 pounds and a tight size 20W pant
Here is a picture of my spreadsheet for my status.
I weigh myself on Sundays. Tomorrow I will be seeing the 20 pound loss milestone and I'm looking forward to it.
I set a 1400 calorie max but I haven't been cooking for myself so it's a lot of packaged foods. And even when I cook I make 1 thing and have it for 4 nights since I live alone. Any measuring mistake or MFP calorie info that is wrong can be a problem. Because of those issues I show at usually consuming only about 1100 calories.....I assume the packages and/or MFP listings may be wrong and there is likely a hidden couple hundred calories I don't know about. Someone (not from here) 'friended' me or whatever it's called and I guess saw my food log and gave me an unrequested and unwanted lecture instead of asking me first. Humans are annoying. So if you 'friend' me and see that settle down please.
Lastly I see people in another group posting monthly goals. I don't think I'm ready for that yet. I pre log my food for the week, buy only what I need though can (and do) swap things around if needed if I'm not feeling it that day. Anyway in general my long term thinking is in increments on the spreadsheet, not the calendar....
Be in the 220s
Be at 10% loss
Be in the 210s
Be in the 200s
Be at 20% loss
Be under 200
Be at 180. That is a nice one.
Be in a size 14 (not W, a normal 14). I can shop for clothes in real stores then.
Then it's about size more than scale. Ultimately I want to be in a size 8 and then do maintenance for a while then consider going to a size 6 or not. Also plan to get my belly ('apron' I think is the term) removed (already in the way) and my boobs back front and center (and smaller, they are huge which is why I only posted the pant size, top is usually 2 sizes larger even when I am thinner).
I'll post my updated spreadsheet tomorrow....with less words. Promise.5 -
Down 2 pounds. My body is weird. Does this happen to anyone else.....I weigh less after my morning shower - you'd think I'd be heavier with my hair water logged? Today I got up and weighed myself, ran a few errands, came back and did some a few chores and took a long bath. Then weighed myself again and it was a pound less but it was 3 hours later so I'm sticking with my first result.

Down one pound this morning to my lowest weight in about ten years!...I have been up and down so many times it kind of blurs together!...But this time I have so much support from MFP friends it has really been a little easier!...we are all on the same but different journey!...only 3 pounds to begin Phase 2 of this process!....since May 28 I am down 47 lbs!8

@conniewilkins56 -Wooohooo! You’ve made amazing progress! You’ll hit the 50-pound milestone before you know it.
I know what you mean about the ups and downs blurring together. I’m really not sure what my lowest weights were in the last 15 years... but I know I never stayed there long! I’m closing in on my pre-pregnancy weight now though, and I definitely haven’t been anywhere near that since. (Never mind that my “babies” are both in high school now, lol... I WILL lose the “baby weight” this time!)5 -
Current spreadsheet. I didn't post last week though I weighed in and logged, was super busy. Lost what I put on and then a little more too so my body is letting go the excess water from my indulgences.

11/17/19 I weigh 211.8, I am hoping to be 200 by the end of this year. If i can stay on track I know I can hit that easily.2

You gained so much more!2 -
I'm right behind Connie... 50 lbs lost as of this morning!
I'm halfway to my goal of 163, which I picked because: 1) 100 lbs is a nice round number, and 2) 163 is right at the top end of "normal BMI" for my height. I'm anticipating a slowing down heading into the next 50--plus I set my loss to 1.5 lbs/week rather than 2. I've gotten to a place where the time this is going to take doesn't feel so overwhelming and I'd rather lose at a sustainable rate then try to push too hard (1400 cals/day would make me sad!).
I've been lurking more lately, but it's great to read about everyone's progress, including the struggles which are definitely part of moving forward. excellent work, all.6 -
Congratulations on your 50 lb loss....I have now been stuck on 50 lbs the entire week!...I would really like to be down ten more pounds by the first of the year!...I am trying to start exercising slowly but daily...hoping I can keep adding more, especially thru the holidays...happy thanksgiving!5
