Hello, my names Alex. I used to be a member of this group. I lost 40 lbs 2-3 years ago and now i've gained it all back, so trying to get back at it! My goals for this week are: stay at or under my calories, walk everyday on my lunch break, and go for a walk or ride my stationary bike every night! Also i try to get 80-100 oz of water a day. Glad to be back, and ready to lose some weight but most of all work on my food addiction and feel better!

Goals: 2/3 YES. I went over calories though, one of those days I just constantly felt hungry.3 -
@Navydaddjtc - I think I saw an 'honorable mention' in one of your recent posts (I think it was on your end of July washup) - what did I do to earn that?

Not sure how I'm going to do weight wise this week - my birthday has materialised today (seems to happen about this time each year) and I've been bombarded with biscuits, chocolate and will be going out for meals to commiserate my extra age!!!2 -

Hello all, sorry I havenβt been around yet. My name is Kai and Iβm a stay at home, home schooling mom of three kids. Iβve been over weight most of my life and Iβve tried most diets out there to little success. Until now that is. Currently I do low carb (30% or under not Keto) in combination with counting calories. When I first started in January I was extremely sedentary and usually got less than 500 steps a day. These days Iβm usually about 6k or more, but on nicer days I can hit 10k. I look forward to sharing this month of my journey with all of you.4

Just a little about me, Im in my late 50s with mod to severe RA and fibromyalgia have had 4 surgeries in the last 8 years 3 in the last 5 years smh started this journey in 2009 a few years before I joined mfp by counting calories Ive kept off 90 in the last 9 years pretty impressive and yet I'm not that impressed with myself but I'm grateful that I found this group to keep me going ...you all are awesome!!3

Sorry - I forgot to do this the other day! Welcome to new team members!
A little about me....
I'm 48 years young, married to a lovely man - who is far too good at cooking for his own good! I don't have any children or pets (but can appreciate them from a far), as this would be too much like bringing my work home - as I am a secondary school teacher in the UK.
I keep active by going to body combat classes twice a week (love it!), going swimming once a week and trying to walk as much as I can - I try to walk at least 10,000 steps a day. I'm not so good at drinking enough water, as I can't leave my classes to go for a toilet dash!
My continuing targets for this month are to:
* Get below 140lb - by tracking what I actually eat (rather than what I think I've eaten) - this is still a work in progress, and I am still not as good as this as I should be
* Get into the habit of drinking more water
* Increase my sleep average - 7h 24min (although this is lower during the week)
* Increase my activity levels - making a daily note of my steps is helping. Does anyone have a Misfit?2 -
