Sorry I have been semi-MiA. We are moving to a new community which means house moving. No fun. I would like to be on the step team. Goal: (1)13,000 steps/day. (2) Drink 96 oz H2O daily. (3) 30+ minutes exercise daily.

A little about myself. I am a 58 y.o. General surgeon in Southeast Arkansas, however if you ask, I am a TEXAN!!! I grew up in Houston. I have been married for 36 years now with 5 kids and 2 grandkids. I lost 95 pounds and have been working to keep those pounds off. One of my other goals is to be a bit more active on the boards if possible. My fitbit ID is: www.fitbit.com/user/23L75X. Feel free to add me.

DO FIND THE ODDS ARE AGAINST YOU, DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN'T BEAT THOSE ODDS ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY.....

WELL PUT ON THE BRAKES BECAUSE I AM HERE TO TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN BEAT THE ODDS!!!
I KNOW I DID IT TWICE... I BEAT THE GRIM REAPER AT HIS OWN GAME OF DEATH... ONCE IN VIETNAM AND ONCE WITH DIVERTICULITIS... EACH TIME I WAS CLINICALLY DEAD AND EACH TIME I CAME BACK TO KICK THE GRIMM REAPERS *kitten*.
I ALSO BEAT THAT PHAT MONSTER BACK IN JAN. AND FEB. WHEN I LOST 14 PDS IN 2 MOS.. ONLY TO GAIN IT BACK. SO YES WE CAN BEAT THE ODDS AND YES IT CAN COME BACK AND BYTE US IF WE ARE NOT CAREFUL ABOUT IT

WE CAN BEAT THE ODDS YES IT'S HARD WORK ...YES IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN OVER NIGHT AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS IT WONT BE , BUT WE CAN AND WILL KICK THE PHAT MONSTER *kitten* AS WELL

IT WILL BE REWARDING TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO FIT INTO SMALLER SIZE CLOTHING... TO RUN AND PLAY WITH THE KIDS OR GRAND KIDS AND NOT GET WINDED, TO LOOK AT A MENU AND SAY I WILL HAVE THIS AND KNOW IT'S OKAY TO HAVE.... AND MOST OF ALL
TO LOOK AT THAT PHAT MONSTER AND SAY.. I BEAT YOU AT YOUR OWN GAME..I KICKED YOU TO THE CURB....I AM BETTER AND STRONGER THAN YOU...

SO WHAT YA SAY TEAM .. YOU IN IT TO BEAT IT THIS MONTH...
OR IS IT GOING TO BE STATUS QUO ?????
YOU CHOOSE AND CHOOSE WISELY BECAUSE YOUR HEALTH AND FITNESS DEPEND ON IT...

NOW LET'S GET TO LOOSING THIS PHAT

    h1exd3naupeg.jpg
LONG TERM GOALS FOR THE AUGUST CHALLENGE

    2) BREAKFAST EVERYDAY 0600 HRS
    3) ACCEPTING WHAT I AM CAPABLE DOING TODAY... WHAT AM AM I OPERATING AT
    (BATTERY LIFE) 0-100%

    Good Afternoon,

My name is Tualla Rochelle. I have struggled with my weight for all of my adult life. (I am now in my 50s). I have self destructive behavior. I do well during the week, but often binge eat on the weekends.

I am single with two grown children. I enjoy working on my fitness goals, going to church, socializing with my friends and crocheting. I started crocheting after several years to help with the boredom eating on the weeks.

Excited to be a part of this group.

NO MORE BEING TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED TIME TO KICK THAT TO THE CURB... SQUARE YOUR SHOULDERS HEAD HELD HIGH AND TELL YOUR SELF THAT YOUR STRONGER THAN THOSE CRAVINGS...YOU GOT THIS JUST ANOTHER WALK IN THE PARK.
Last week's goal was a yoga class. I didn't go last week, but I did go yesterday.
It was a one hour yoga sunset class on a grassy knoll next to the lake. It was quite a beautiful experience seeing the sun set in front of you.
    This week:
    1 more yoga class
6 full glasses of H2O (non carbonated) per day
30 min of some physical activity daily

Yesterday I had a mild success eating: ate stuffed peppers at lunch and that filled me up, so after the sunset yoga I was not hungry. So, I skipped dinner. Sometimes, I believe that's good for the digestive system.

    @RubyRed427 ...
WTG JULIE FOR GETTING THAT YOGA CLASS AT SUNSET...MUST OF BEEN AN AMAZING SIGHT...YUM YUM STUFFED PEPPERS THE ONLY THING BETTER THAN IS GRILLED STUFFED PEPPER.. NOW MY MOUTH IS WATERING . GREAT GOALS THAT YOU SET FOR YOURSELF... KEEP AT IT

Hello, my names Alex. I used to be a member of this group. I lost 40 lbs 2-3 years ago and now i've gained it all back, so trying to get back at it! My goals for this week are: stay at or under my calories, walk everyday on my lunch break, and go for a walk or ride my stationary bike every night! Also i try to get 80-100 oz of water a day. Glad to be back, and ready to lose some weight but most of all work on my food addiction and feel better!
