well, its been a few days and the work week has been a tough one. Still feeling defeated and not very motivated.
I got delivery of my new treadmill last night so I am excited to start running at home again vs going back and forth to the gym. tonight will be my first use!
@Ahanaz thanks for the encouraging words on my last post and to everyone who read my rambling.
trying to find my groove again, just feeling stuck right now.
Hope everyone is having a great week!6 -

So much for dog sitting to up the step count! There was one day I got her in the harness and she refused to move. Tried walking her without the harness and she bolted after a dachshund twice, almost knocking me off my feet so we turned around and went home. Last two days I said let's go for a walk and she ran up the stairs and hid. The old one last week was easier!2 -
It might be a cop out to say I don't have any willpower, but I don't. Perhaps it's because I'm sick and tired of counting...perhaps it's that things are stressful at work. I don't know...but I ate like a fiend today. Had my meals and a separate thing at each meal...was ridiculous. Gotta do better tomorrow. Over the past six months, the only thing I've been consistent with is my activity levels.

Steps are good today. They will be better tomorrow. I'm so tired though. The stress of working at a stressful job all day then going to hospital for 2 hours to take care of my dad then home. Trying to eat healthy and remember to do all ther other chores etc. on my to do list. School is starting soon and dance classes for my youngest. I'm relying on my spouse to cook dinners lately for my daughters and grandson. I usually eat late which is bad. I've been just making the quickest and healthiest thing I can. I'm taking a mental health day tomorrow. I'm going to go to the PNE. I hope I remember to weigh myself in the morning. Have a great Friday everyone!4

@mulecanter Ouch! I'm glad your son is okay. Now he will have some "skin in the game" since he'll be partially paying for the new car. Hopefully, he'll be more careful in the future!
@brysonlights Cool, you got a new treadmill! I wish I had the space for one! It'll be nice when the weather is bad to just have one at home. Oh well! I'm glad you're getting back into the swing of things!
@schlerin Wow, I never met a dog that didn't want to walk (well, except for an old one with joint issues).
@jessicakrall8 Hugs! Oh no! :-( I hear you. I wanted to get into One-derland today with my weigh in, but I ate more food after dinner Wednesday evening and last night I had a mini-binge. Bleh! I have to stop all this eating after dinner I tend to do. My steps on the other hand have been great, probably the only thing saving me from gaining.
@rosetigger Hang in there! I'm sorry about your dad and all the stress you're under. I'm glad you're taking some time out for yourself.

It should be fun and one of the stops will give us a nice walk! Hope to see ya'll post your plans! Talk to ya later! Jessica2

So August ends. I hope everyone has a good Labor Day (USA). Part of MFP is learning to reset mentally. We all have setbacks (binges) and backslides that are frustrating and deflating. The ability to brush aside past failures and reset on goals will minimize backslides and keep you on track. I've been here at MFP a long time and this last year I've been stuck in maintenance when I still have 20 to lose. I'm going to reset yet again and see if I can make some progress. Identify your "sins", atone and look for new ways to meet your net calorie goal one day at a time. Let's all get our mojo back!7

I'm heading to my sister's place to hang out for the Labor Day weekend (USA). We'll probably do gardening, cooking, and maybe some clothes shopping. :-) After that, I'll be at the farm from Tuesday through Sunday. I'll try to say hello every so often over the weekend, but probably not so much when I'm at the farm. I hope you all have great weekend!2

Oh my it's been a crazy week (I'll add steps later, I'm at work and not enough time now.) First week back to the school before kids arrive, and it's been CRAZY, lots of training, lots of food, bleck, and t disnt even have an office until the end of tuesday because they had to redo the roof and tons of other stuff, so I am so far behind there. I have monday off but other than that work every day. I'm dreading next week at the school because we are about a week behind there.2

Please feel free to join our steppers group if you like to walk and are a Fitbit fanatic like I am...just send me an IM that you'd like to join the step group and I'll get you plugged in. Also, you can add me to your Fitbit challenges if you like (jakrall@cox.net) is my email addy. Hope you find the support you need from us...great bunch of people I must say...they've helped me immensely. Please introduce yourself and let us know what you need in way of support...also share a little of your story and what your short or long term goals are...WELCOME! Jessica (Craziest Capt)1

Well I'm away from home again....for the holiday this time. So this is the last weight I logged.2 -
I found this really neat fitness journal at Walmart. I think it might help me keep track of things when I don’t have my phone to input everything. Here’s to honoring it will help to keep me accountable for my food in September.3 -
