F2F-CHALLENGES:
- - WEEKLY GROUP CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by teams for the entire group)
Week 1 - TRIMSTONES
Week 2 - WEIGHT NO MORE
Week 3 - WAISTAWAYS
Week 4 - SHRINKING ASSETS
- - MODERATOR'S CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by the moderators of the group)
- - INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGES (Challenges within teams themselves)

HOW OUR CHALLENGES WORK:
We have 4 total possible challenges and NONE are mandatory. Our challengers can do none or all it's up to them. So we have...

The F2F Weekly TEAM Challenge - posted each week on Sunday in the announcements by the team who is assigned that particular week (see above for your week). This is for the F2F Group as a whole.

F2F Moderators Challenge/Topic of the week - This challenge is provided each week in the announcements area. One of the moderators will either provide a challenge that will involve anything fitness, health, and nutrition.

Individual Team challenges - these are challenge done within your own team. You can chose daily, weekly, or monthly challenges (weekly seems to work best). You can make this whatever you wish as long as it's health and fitness related.

Note: If for some reason your team is unable to provide the weekly challenge please let me know ahead of time so another team can take your place or so I can provide the challenge.

Good Luck Teams: Please let us know if there is anything wrong or if you notice something that needs to be fixed or modified. Everything seems ready to go for AUGUST. Registrations are almost done and we have quite a few new challengers. Make sure you are going into your new team threads to welcome anyone who has started posting. Let’s make our newbies feel welcome and show them some F2F love!!

THANKS, YOUR MODS

@Fattleass So sorry that you are having a rough month. I understand if you need to step away from the challenge for your own mental health and sanity...but please don't step away on our account! We are here to support you through the successes and the struggles, and there are few of us on here who have not gone through the weight loss struggles. Wishing you peace, health, success, and confidence on your journey!

Looks like I forgot to hit send this morning on my update.

    Here it is...
    PW: 159.6
    CW: 158.6 (-1 lbs)

I know this may sound pretentious... But I'm quite disappointed. At the beginning of the week I finished a 72h fast. I was down at 155.8lbs! I knew I'd regain maybe 1 or 2 lbs once I refed, but 3lbs?! So depressing.

I've read up on it, and apparently this is a typical case of insulin resistance. I've gotten some tips and suggestions to instead do 3x42 or 2x48 weeks, with TRE. Apparently, after many people's trial and errors, that's the optimal schedule for us who are insulin resistant.

    ycrjwagrajxc.png

I'm traveling on Thursday and will be out of town with no scale available for next week's weigh-in. I can weigh in on Tuesday (22 days late, but if you want to put NWI on me for next week that works too. Let's see what 2 weeks of this new schedule can do. . .

    Hi Guys:
I am back from my trip to KY. The funeral was very nice and my family was surrounded by love by my brother's church family, Sally's daughters and grandchildren and the community as a whole. That's one of the beautiful things about being from a very small, tight-knit community. It was very emotional as you can imagine and to say that I was just "tired" when I got home last night after the 9 hr drive, is putting it mildly. Today I'm emotionally drained and exhausted. I'm resting today. I wasn't able to put in my walk time each day, especially doing all of that driving, but I tried to do the most walking that I could. Also, in relation to my food intake, I was VERY proud of the choices I made and only went over on calories one day, by just a 100 calories.

I wanted to say thank you to those of you who took time to pray for me, send me positive thoughts and send me notes of encouragement. Y'all mean the world to me. I felt that spirit during the whole trip.

I've tried to catch up on the step chart, but there are a few holes. For any of my steppers, Aug 1st, 2nd and 3rd is also included in week 5 of July, so if you see empty holes, please send me your steps for those days. I'll get them plugged in today and announce our excellent walkers for the month. Also, if you want to walk for August, I need you to tell me that. I'm not going to assume. Hope we can all stay active and on-plan this month. Here's to being bigger losers!

Hi! Aug steps begin with Sun, the 4th so I've filled them in for you. The 1-3 finished up our July, so they won't be listed since you are just starting as a walker for this month. Awesome job though...amazing numbers! Your CW from Aug 2nd, I listed as your starting weight, so your first official weigh in is this Friday. Good luck and welcome!! Jessica

Hi there! Because of how the month lined up with the days of the week, our August recorded of steps (and weights) begins on Sunday, Aug 4th, so keep reporting them every few days and I'll get them plugged in. Just got the August chart started...steps are at the bottom. I've added you so we're good to go. Good luck this month! KEEP IT MOVING!! Jessica

I'm just getting back today and noticed that the group challenge is ours (Trimstones) for Week 1, so it's small, but it's powerful. Every day this week from today through Saturday, post the one thing you're going to say NO to for the day. It can be food, it can be something that's holding you back, it can be anything...what one thing is your NO NO for today?

For me, it's sadness. I refuse to be sad today. Can't wait to read yours. Have a beautiful week!
    Jessica
