@AnnofB -How amazing is that!!! Mine was a Col. C-130 pilot and after Vietnam, had the Greenland Mission for much of his career and in those days, he had to make an appointment to call me! Greenland was about a remote as it gets except for maybe Goose Bay, Labrador! :laugh: Did you worry that maybe once he was home all the time you'd would not be able to stay married? I worried about that a lot in the year before he retired, but we did OK. So many military marriages fail after all those deployments are over. It's sad.

I do not approve of this. They put us under a Winter Weather Advisory for Thursday. My husband heard that we could get 1-3" and immediately scheduled the car to go in to put on the Winter tires. (sigh).
I need to stand up 1 more time this evening and I'll complete my last ring and Win my challenge for the month.
