@mynacha73 @laceybrobie Welcome to Team TrimStones!! I hope you're made to feel welcome here...we're a little nutty, occasionally quiet...oh who am I kidding, we're quite chatty mostly...but we care about your journey and want to support you in any way we can. You have hit the jackpot today...you have been placed on a very caring team and we try to be helpful, give you a giggle and supply a little kick in the pants when needed (that's @mulecanter 's job)...I'm the sweet Captain!

So, take a second and introduce yourself...tell us what you're hoping to do and what we can do to help...

Also, we keep track of walking stats if you're a Fitbit nut like I am and we can be known to take up a challenge or two...on the stats chat you'll find in the main Fat2Fit page, if you scroll down under the weight section, you'll find the Step Challenge section. Send me a quick note and let me know you'd like to be on the Step Team for January and I'll make sure you're added.

Finally, send me a quick IM and let me know your starting weight so I can get you set up on the chart. Remember you only get out of a support group what you put in and never hold back on sharing something with the group. If it has helped or quizzed you, chances are it's done the same for someone else. Just like at a yard sale, one man's junk is another's treasure!

WELCOME!!! And at this time of year...Happy Holidays!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to being part of this group, getting to know new friends, and living more healthfully! I'm working through some injuries and pain, but I don't let it stop me - I try to limit the worst of the complaining to the cat. She's surprisingly tolerant if I feed her while kvetching. I started really focusing on improving my health in August, and I'm already seeing improvements. I know that working with this group, will just keep me heading a good direction!

@KEDGIN3432 Welcome to our little family in TrimStones!! I'm Jessica, one of two captains for this team, the other being @mulecanter. He's the wiser, I'm the chatty cathy of the team! LOL

I hope you'll take a few minutes and introduce yourself and tell everyone what you want to accomplish here...a little about short or long term goals you have an maybe what your biggest challenges are. Everyone on this team supports each other and we try to offer suggestions, keep you laughing during tough weeks and kick you in the butt when you start making excuses (as we all do!)...let us know what we can do to help you out.

I also lead the Step Team, so if you're a fitbit fanatic, please let me know if you'd like to join our steppers team. You can find the step stats just below the weight chart spreadsheet. I hope to hear from you soon!!

    Onward and downward in 2020!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah all. Start preparing your New Year's resolution. It should be something like a re-dedication to your existing resolve to lose via MFP. I'm hoping Santa gives me a big can of MFP Mojo booster to keep me on a downward track.

I did SO WELL at tonight's Christmas Eve dinner!! Small servings of the two casseroles, two slices of ham, two rolls and later a small slice of cheesecake...not too shabby! Yayy me!

Gotta love those NSVs (non-scale victories!!)

Excellent job! Gotta love the NSVs! 👍

    Merry Christmas!

    Steps:
    12/22 = 10,280
    12/23 = 11,969
12/24 = 2,295 Rough day. Left the fitbit on the charger at home, woke up with a nasty stomach bug that had me calling in to work, and one of the dogs I'm watching for a friend died and had to find an emergency vet clinic that would hold him until they get back and can say their good-byes.

@KEDGIN3432 @achagpar Welcome to team TrimStones! Take a second and introduce yourself and share a little bit about what you want to accomplish in the next few months. We're here to help and want to learn how to do so!

I think you'll find this to be a very caring group of people and we'll try to give you a little kick in the booty when needed as well! LOL

    Hi all!

I was so excited to find this challenge group! I lost 8 lbs with another MFP challenge group that just ended, but now with the holidays and family coming over (= eating more fatty food, not getting to the gym as often, harder to track CICO, etc) I’ve regained 6 of those 😳. I know, I know... a million excuses— and you can either have excuses or results, but not both. So here I am ready to get back on track in the New Year.

My current weight is 124; my goal is 110.
That’s 14 lbs, and I’d love to get them off by the first day of spring (March 21). I think that’s a reasonable goal at about 1 lb/week.
I plan to do that by:
    - logging more diligently
    - staying within my calorie goal (I tend to stop logging when I know I’m over, but that’s gotta stop! I’ve gotta be accountable for my shortcomings)
    - Getting to the gym everyday, or at least most days (I’m mostly a Zumba fan and often don’t go if I can’t catch a class; but I’m going to try to get some exercise in everyday... even if it means doing an elliptical for 30 min)
    - Drinking 8 glasses of water per day
    - Participating in the challenges posted here

Thanks all for having this challenge! I can’t wait to get started!
