I am very happy with my weigh in even though I was at 162.9 earlier in the week.
@Freeglerock I used to get the horrible cramps so feel bad for you. I was not worried about my weight or what I was eating back then so didn't relate it to my diet. You know you should eat more than 900 cals each day, I'd be curious to hear if you can relate it to your macros, more protein? or carbs? Good luck finding what helps.1 -
I have no time to check in today. I have to run out unexpectedly to visit my husband's mother. I didn't realize we were going this morning. I will hopefully have time to check in later.
My weight will be following this post. I thought I was doing well but my weight is creeping up. I need to be careful and be more consistent with logging. I have has more carbs than usual the past two days and I seem to gain when I have too many carbs. Hopefully it is that. I would like to finish December with a loss. Last year I lost over 3 lbs through the holidays so I can do this!!

@freeglerock I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly, do you usually not get cramps? I am not sure if it would be diet related but I know when certain nutrients are low you can get cramps. I am glad you are feeling a little better today. I wouldn't worry about the fluctuations in weight especially during your TOM. I know it is easier said than done.
@amytriesww I wish I could have gotten pictures, they didn't allow it. They actually had a nativity scene with 3 camels, 2 sheep and a donkey! It was amazing! Thanks for clarifying the weigh in days. That is fine. If I put you on the wrong day, just weigh in when you said you would. I can get a little confused Safe travels and enjoy!!

TGIF! So thankful that the weekend is coming! I am getting my hair done later today, which will be nice. I will do my best to focus on Christmas this weekend, at least putting up a tree with the kids.
@pacsnc6 - Great loss, congratulations!
@Freeglerock - So sorry that you are not feeling well. Reviewing your diet is always a good thing and maybe you can experiment a bit with different foods or also consider supplements (you can speak to your doctor). I went through a bad spell several years ago with TOM and it turned out I had an iron deficiency, which I discovered with bloodwork. Agree with @pacsnc6 that 900 cals is not enough, but it is understandable if you are not feeling well on a particular day.

@ljdanny - Great loss, congratulations! So sorry that you granddaughter is sick. I love the idea of putting aside a $1 for exercise. Mason jars are fantastic. I have them in various sizes. I do my overnight oats in them, portion soups in them, and you can do all kinds of fun meals in them, like salads, noodles etc.
@kirsten11872 - Great job on your streak! Have a great time tonight and good luck with your weigh in!
@Mrsbell8well - So nice that you go into rowing as well! I know that it is hard to get motivated to run in the cold, but honestly, I love cold weather running. There is something so refreshing about it!

@ljdanny...another loss. It is hard when babies get sick. Those first 5 years they seem to be germ magnets. Hope she feels better soon. My little baby is turning 10 next Tuesday. I love each day that I have been in her life and watch her grown. But I do miss the little babies.
@Cafelelia wow still losing weight with everything you have been going through. Your amazing! Yes I am loving rowing. I pretend I am out on a lake rowing to my hearts content. And I love running in the cold too. It's my preference. But those first 10 minutes were brutal. My hands felt like icicles. I had to keep shaking them. I decided to skip the hat and gloves yesterday. Won't be doing that again.
Mom wasn't feeling the best so we skipped the nativity last night. Maybe we can still make it. I would like to walk there from our home. Probably 10 minutes away. That's if it is just Molly and I.
@amytriesww congrats on making it pass the finals! Sounds like you have some very fun but busy times ahead. Good luck with your surgery. I am sure you will be glad to be on the other side of that.
@freeglerock I wont talk about politics either...but some days I just sigh and pray. Hope your feeling better.

TGIF!...BTW I just wanted to add that this morning I am wearing dark green corduroys, a dark green vest, black turtle neck and my favorite floral scarf. Molly said I looked so tiny and like a teenager. At work I received several compliments and gushes about how skinny I looked. Hah! I love it. And I am wearing leggings under my pants. Planning to close my office blinds and do my 16 minute yoga later this afternoon.5

Well I got up early this morning. I was awake and checked to make sure noone was in the living with the baby ane decided to workout instead of stayong in bed. It felt great to get moving. I am really liking the video I am doing so I think that helps. It's suppose to start raining here later today and pour all day tomorrow. Not sure how motivated I will be but I do plan on doing a 5 mile walking video. After that anything goes. I have 1 more week of work then vacation, looking forward to it. I just found out last night that my whole family, everyone in my house is off that week. i thought I was going to get some me time. I knew my granddaughter and her mom would be home but I figured my sons gf would head out and visit her folks some day. So I will have to make some new plans, lol. Maybe her mom can babysit a day and we can go snowtubing or somthing fun. I don't want to waste all vacation doing nothing. I will look into meal planning and routines. I have to grab 2020 by the horns and run with it. This has to be my year.3

Hello & TGIF! So happy the weekend is here! The weather is not great, going to be rainy tonight & tomorrow, but not too cold. I have lots going on this weekend! Tonight is my friend's surprise birthday dinner, tomorrow morning I have my hair appointment (highlights & cut) & tomorrow night I have my hubby's work Christmas party. I bought a new red dress & beautiful INC brand shoes for his party. I hope it stops raining by the time we are leaving, I hate to be dressed up & it is raining.
This week has gone splendidly! I had 4 great days, trying to make it 5! Last night could have went downhill, I started eating M&M's, I felt a binge starting, but I stopped myself & started my fast. I did go over my usual 1200 calories for the day, but I had a lot of exercise calories. The scale stayed the same, but I am fine with that.
I am really trying to plan my eating today 7 tomorrow, around my 2 dinners. I ate very lightly today for lunch, and I am going to try to be good at dinner. I am going to fast all day tomorrow until the party. I am hoping that I may be able to drop another pound by tomorrow, but if I stay the same as today I will be very happy!
@Freeglerock I have read a lot about IF and it definitely helps with weigh-loss, it also helps to regulate our insulin levels and there are other health benefits. I eat my WW points within my eating window and track on the WW app & MFP. Sorry you had horrible cramps! I used to get bad cramps when I was younger. I am grateful for early menopause, lol. I do not miss that time of month.
@Cafelelia enjoy your hair appointment! Sounds like you are trying to get back to a normal routine.

Weigh in day for me is tomorrow and hopefully it's a good one. I've been between 1000 and 1100 calories each day since Sunday and over 11,000 steps each day as well.5

I attended my first OA meeting on Wednesday. It was a very small intimate group. there was 6 of us all together. I don't know if it is going to help but I am commited to 6 weeks before I will evaluate. I want to thank @Mrsbell8well !! she called me before the meeting and after to make sure I didn't chicken out like I did the previous week. And I am glad she held my feet to the fire. I probably wouldn't have went again. I think of you all often. Keep working the plan!! and smile, don't forget to smile.8

That's great! What a nice thing @Mrsbell8well did for you. Such great support! I hope it helps you. I bet it was hard going the first time but now that you've gone once it should hopefully get easier. Also, keep checking in here for any support that we can give. We may all be doing the journey a little differently in how we work our plans but we're all trying to get and stay healthy. I find the more support I have the better. I love what you said about not forgetting to smile.😁5 -

I got out of work at 8:30, then ran a quick errand and had a chiropractor appointment at 10:30, then went home, got something to eat and to bed by noon. Got up shortly after 6, had supper and am now watching a Hallmark movie then off to work after that.6 -

I think I am going to be super busy like all of you leading up to Christmas. We were just going to visit my Mother in law. The rush was because I wasn't told we were doing it Lol! We ended up hearing on the radio that it was going to rain most of the weekend so we decided to get our trees instead. Shannon graduates Saturday so we are going to the ceremony at 4, we will stop to see his Mom before that. I am really tired so I am going to call it a night!
@cafeleia Hopefully decorating and putting the tree up will get everyone in a little more of a Christmasy mood. It is just so hard after a death of a loved one.

I had to step on the scale 5 times to actually believe what I saw. Hopefully my scale is accurate- I just put fresh batteries in it a couple days ago.
Headed to urgent care this morning for a UTI. Ugh. Hope this doesn’t affect my surgery date. I know I can’t take NSAIDS 10 days before a surgery, but does anyone know about antibiotics? I emailed my doctor, but probably won’t hear back until Monday.

It’s been a busy week. I had an infusion on Tuesday but I have managed to excercise almost everyday. I’m a little surprised my weight has stayed the same. I’m hoping that I’m gaining some muscle mass back. I feel like I lost a lot of muscle over the last year with everything I’ve been through! They finally scheduled me an appointment with the lymphadema clinic this Tuesday so I’m hoping they can help me out with some of the pain that I’ve been having relating to that. I was also prescribed gabapentin for my nueropathy but I read the side effects and I’m kind of afraid to take it! I’m sorry I haven’t been checking in daily, life just seems so hectic right now, and usually once I get home from work I take care of all the wild beasts and immediatelay fall asleep! I Hope everyone is doing well!4 -

I’m going to try to stick with it the rest of the weekend although it will be tricky with Christmas parties in the middle of it!! I figure I can cleanse all day and try to eat a modest dinner with wise choices. It’s just a daily struggle 😀4

I have to run. Today is Shannon's graduation. We are going to lunch and dinner. I am not too happy about that as I think lunch is not needed. I am going to look up what I am having at each restaurant while I am on the stationary bike. I want to exercise and clean this am so I really have to run. I also have to iron Shannon's gown which I asked for early in the week. Grrr....Hope everyone has an awesome day!
@amytriesww Wtg Amy!! Welcome to onderland! That is awesome!! Sorry about the UTI. I think that antibiotics would be ok. Maybe they would know at the urgent care. I know NSAIDS do with bleeding so that is why you can't take them. Hope you feel better. UTIs are awful
@timibotkin Sorry about that. I don't know what I was thinking. We did move you but I forgot. Maintaining isn't a bad thing. I would imagine that between gaining muscle mass and with all the infusions, new meds etc your body is holding on to some fluid too. I bet you are losing fat but with everything else going on, it is not reflecting in your weight. I think you are going to have to trust the process and not pay too much attention to the scale. Keep doing what you are doing and the scale will eventually catch up I promise. I also hope you aren't pushing too much. Listen to your body. If you are tired, rest. Hugs! I love when you call those adorable little doggies beasts Lol! I remember the first time you posted a picture of them with that caption Lol!

I am not feeling well today, mainly a sore throat. It started happening last night. The kids have been sick and I guess this was ineveitble with our unexpected travelling and stress. Hubby is taking over hockey duties this afternoon, and I am going to try to rest although I still have some house stuff to do. At least my hair looks nice after my hair appointment! The rest of me feels yucky but the hair is good!
