    @Mrsbell8well it is cold & rainy here as well! I agree completely, I wish I was on my couch, under my blanket!

    @kirsten11872 Remember a few weeks ago when you felt the same way but you came home, worked out, showered and then still was able to relax on the couch. You were so happy that you got your workout in. Remember that today after work!
    @Mrsbell8well That is strange. I was the opposite, when I got back to cutting back after Thanksgiving I was feeling hungrier. I am sure that you will get through your day and enjoy that dinner! It sounds delicious!

    I have been very busy over the weekend. I was off Friday and today. Friday I went and did all my christmas shopping. Saturday I went to a few craft fairs and then went ot visit my sons girlfriend at her job, shes a bartender. She wasn't sure if Saturday or this Saturday is going to be her last shift, with the baby coming in February she decided to stop her second job. Yesterday I went to zumba and food shopping, today I stayed home, exercised and wrapped all the gifts. I did a Leslie Sansone video that I had that i have never done before, i liked it. I usually do Miracle miles but i did the walk 15, i think i will start doing this one every day. I don't think i will be able to get to zumba tomorrow because my son has an appointment and his girlfriend has class so i think im going to have to babysit, i guess thats a good reason to miss, lol. It's raining here today but warm. my queit day is almost over, everyone should be home from work soon.

    Lots of people tell me the same thing. Overnight shift is difficult but when you don't have a choice you make it work.😁 I think it's easier for me than my coworkers with spouses, kids and pets. I live alone so I don't get the interruptions that they do. I'm actually a morning person so staying up all night is difficult.

    Monday 12/9 check in
    Food: logged and on track
    Water: 64 oz
    Exercise: 30 minute session with my trainer

    I told my trainer what I did over the weekend. He basically told me that it's in the past and there's nothing you can do about it. Move forward and keep going. I pretty much said that too but it was nice to hear him say it too. I haven't been in the gym since Thursday so my session was harder than normal but I needed that. He plans hard workouts for me since he know that's what I want and need.

    I have an early PT session tomorrow so it depends when I get up if I will be on here in the morning. I had a good day today. I also noticed that I am getting in a good routine with exercising. Hope everyone has a good night.

    I will post tomorrow the weigh in reminders as we have no weigh ins until Wednesday :)

    @ljdanny Babysitting is definitely a good reason to skip a workout! How's the little one doing? You had such a productive weekend! I still have so much to do for Christmas lol! Good luck with your son's appointment tomorrow. I hope things are getting better for him.
    @tryingagain5 That was good advice from your trainer. There is no reason to beat yourself up over indulging. Looks like you had another good day today!
    @phoebe112476 Oh no! Keeping you all in my prayers. Is it the youngest daughter? I am glad that you are keeping up with your eating routines. Hang in there Mama! No worries about the weigh in this week. I put you in as an excused. Keep us posted when you can.

    It is good advice. Although sometimes having the ability to change the past would be great!
    I did work harder at my choices.☺️
    I hope your PT session goes well.

    I’m happy to report that I did my workout! I got home from work, I was hungry so I decided to eat as soon as I got home before I stated grazing. I ate, digested and did my workout. I feel so good! Day 1 was a success! Started my fast at 6:30, so I’ll probably wind up fasting for almost 18 hours, I try not to eat until 12:00, but I’ll see how hungry I am tomorrow.

    @ljdanny good for you, getting your shopping done, I barely started, I’m always last minute, but it always gets done!

    @phoebe112476 so sorry your daughter is sick! Keeping her in my prayers!

    @sleepymom5 you’re right, I feel good. I did my workout & now I can relax!

    Have a good night!😊🤗

    Great job on getting your workout in! I felt much better after my workout today.

    I probably should have made myself workout this weekend. It would have given me a more positive mindset.😉

    @phoebe112476 so sorry about your daughter. Hugs and prayers.
    @sleepymom5 I too noticed it was a little quieter. Good post! Hope pt goes well.

    Dinner was so yummy last night. Bz day. I will post pictures later.
    2nd week of rowing. Up to 10 minutes. Was much easier. I looked at my workout camisole and noticed I spilt water. Dang. Then noticed the other side of my ribs also had a spot. It was sweat! Lol. Hah I guess rowing was going better than I thought. Afterwards did my yoga. Then yummy dinner.

    Monday 12/9 check in
    Food: logged and on track
    Water:over 64 oz
    Exercise: 30 stationary bike, PT, strength and Stretching

    Very busy morning today so I have to run. I already did my stretching and will do my bike as soon as I come home so I don't put it off and end up not doing it. Have a great day everyone!!

    @tryingagain5 Haha! That would be nice!
    @kirsten11872 Great job getting that workout in! Good look with the fast. I am trying to get consistent with 14 but I am sure I can do more. I just don't like eating late in the am.
    @jedaschultz Ending the month remaining in the 100s is a good goal, especially this time of year. Don't totally give up though, you have been doing awesome!
    @Mrsbell8well I am not surprised you are sweating on that rowing machine, when I did it at the gym I thought it was hard. More of an endurance hard than hard to do if that makes sense. Great job and dinner does look delicious!

    woke up early lots to do today. Prepped a butternut squash, made pie crust, juiced 16 oz of celery juice for breakfast, packed my lunch and snacks, cleaned the bathroom, did my yoga, took a bath and started my day. I met one of my neighbors at a chamber of commerce event. She invited herself over for dinner lol. She lives a few blocks down. Molly is making her most delicious creamy wild rice garbanzo bean soup, I am making kale salad with butternut squash, cranberries, and walnuts served with sourdough bread from my favorite local shop. Also making a rustic apple tart with vegan vanilla ice cream. She is a wine vendor so bringing the wine. Our home is clean and decorated and ready for company. We have finished all our Christmas shopping. Planning to do the wrapping this weekend. I am also making 8 different types of Christmas breads/cakes/loaves this weekend for gifts. I own a huge collection of little ceramic holiday loaf pans from when I had my own baking business, and will be happy to dwindle down those numbers. Planning to do my run at lunch.
    Have a good day everyone!

    @kirsten11872 that’s a beautiful photo!

    Hello and happy Tuesday team. I can feel myself slowly getting busier and busier with a combination of work pouring in and Xmas related activities! I met my son Zack last night to help shop for my other son Max and to help with Zack’s girlfriend. Last Friday I shopped with Zack’s girlfriend to help me pick out stuff for Zack. Plus I really like her and we have fun hanging out!! So if you could follow that tangled description, I’m really close to being done shopping. Need stuff for a coworker and my fitness trainers. Those are the hard ones to shop for. And I hate just giving gift cards but it might come down to that.

    Yikes, you all sound so organised for Christmas - we have only picked up 2 presents so far, we have a long way to go!  Likely nothing will be wrapped until early hours of Christmas day!

    @CassieGetsFit2013 wow, that is a fabulous loss! WW has in the past worked well for me (except when I got carried away with the "free" foods ;) )

    @hope002 beautiful photo! Are you on holiday, or is that close to home (and if so, I am super jealous!)?

    @phoebe112476 Hope you daughter is feeling better.  Never nice seeing them in hospital.  Take care of yourself. x

    @kirsten11872 Impressed that you got the workout in.  Sometimes the couch calls so loud.  I really need to get myself motivated to do it.  Hopefully reading how you guys all manage it will inspire me to do the same.

    @Mrsbell8well That dinner for your neighbour sound so delicious - I would also invite myself to dinner like your neighbour (if I wasn't so far away) for those offerings!

    @tryingagain5 I could never work the overnight shift, the second it gets dark I'm ready for bed. I'm more like a middle of the day type of person, even though I wake up early I don't want to get up or talk to anyone.
    @phoebe112476 sorry to hear about your daughter, hope she gets better quick.
    @sleepymom5 the baby is doing great, she turned 2 months yesterday, she is now smiling, I love having her around. I can't wait for the next one in February. My son seems to be doing well, he will be starting physical therapy next week for his back and hopefully they can also write him a prescriptions for massages.
    @kirsten11872 every year I take a day off to go get my Christmas shopping done or I would be a crazy person in the stores.

    I'm thinking of leaving the baby at work for a little bit so I can go get a quick workout in, not sure if this will offend her mother or not, lol. Maybe she will be sleepy when we go home. Hoping I'm not stuck at work late, we are a little short staffed today but I shouldn't complain seeing I have been off for a few days. The only difference is when I'm off no one does my job but when they are off I sometimes have to do their jobs. Only 9 work days left then Christmas break, a week and half of nothing, well exercise and nothing.

    Hello Team! I've been keeping up on your posts but haven't commented in a while

    @phoebe112476 How scary! Hope your daughter feels better soon.
    @hope002 Beautiful picture and amazing scenery!
    @kirsten11872 Beautiful picture pretty lady! I think a reset and restart can be a very good tool. Keep up the good work!
    @tryingagain5 I frequently like what you share about your trainer. Sounds like you've got a good one taking care of you!!
    @jedaschultz Not gaining this time of year can be a challenge all in itself. That's my goal for December also... finish the month just weighing no more than I did at the start.
    @sleepymom5 What a gorgeous location! Must have been a fun event.

    I've kinda of been plodding along like an old nag with blinders on taking one step at a time and keeping to the basics. This week I've been focusing more on nutrition and not so much on calories... Nuts, fruit/veggies, whole grains, beans, lean protein, etc. I've pre-planned the week's meals. My dilemma is my husband goes most of the day without eating and then wants a big dinner. I eat several small meals throughout the day and prefer a light dinner. So I'm cooking things he likes but adding in more plant based sides. He's even gotten in the habit of asking "so what beans are we having tonight" LOL. I don't care for hot tea but I'm forcing myself to have an afternoon snack of a cup of tea and an apple. So... we'll see how the week goes.

    Exercise and water have been good. Haven't hiked as much as I would like because we have a lot of ice. Its been a particularly cold fall around here so far. Feels more like winter. I did get the house decorated over the weekend and although I only brought out maybe half of my decorations, its very cheery and I'm glad I did it. Gift buying is almost done and I should finish tomorrow... fingers crossed.

    Have a good day everyone!

    @hope002 Would love to, but over here in England my only experience of skiing is on a dry ski slope - can't imagine what a novice I would look like out in proper snow on skis :D

    The overnight shift is hard but I make it work. We do tet paid a little more so that helps too. I also would like to go to bed when it gets dark. Right now in West Michigan that's around 5pm.

    @nstephenson01
    Thanks. Alex, my trainer at the gym, is pretty good. He's only 26 but knows his stuff. He gently pushes me when I need it and pushes me harder with the workouts. He knows I can do more than I think I can.

    One step at a time is ok. That's better than no steps at all.

    @kirsten11872
    That does sound scary! Great job on keeping your food on track and getting to the gym!

    @phoebe112476
    Glad the hospital has some healthy options for you. Glad your daughter is stable. Hope she starts to improve soon.

    @Cafelelia
    Hope you will be able to get that much needed rest.

    @Freeglerock
    Motivation is fleeting.🙁 Just keep doing what you know you should/need to do. Hopefully it will become a habit and not a chore.

    Tuesday 12/10 check in
    Food: logged and under
    Water: 48 oz
    Exercise: 15 minutes speed intervals

    My day was off today. I got to bed at my normal time but had to get up early for an appointment, then ran an errand and then went to the gym. Got about 4 hours of sleep, then went home and slept another hour or so and met some people for dinner/coffee. I stayed with my plan of what I was going to eat. I got dinner since I hadn't eaten yet. Most got dessert since they had eaten earlier and we didn't meet until 7. I could have easily gotten one of their desserts. Nice NSV for me with sticking to my plan.

    West Michigan can't decide if it's winter or not. Yesterday it was 47 degrees and relatively nice. This morning when I got out of work it was 27 and cold and snowy. It took me 10 minutes to get all the snow and ice of my car before I could leave. By the end of the week it's supposed to be back in the 40's again.

    I had a hard time at the gym today but figured 15 minutes was better than nothing. I'm sure it was from the lack of sleep. I work with the trainer again tomorrow so I know I"ll be working hard. He pushes me whether I like it or not.

    My trainer suggested something different with food for now. I was counting just calories. He wants me to start counting protein, fat and carbs also. I did that for the first time today. I was under my calories, carbs and protein but over on the fats. Guess it's going to take me some time to get used to counting this way and make it work the way it should.

    Tuesday 12/10 check in
    Food: logged and over
    Water: over 64 oz
    Exercise: 30 min stationary bike, PT, stretching and strength. Over 7,500K steps

    I did well then got stressed and ate at night. I am not happy but it is over and it could have been worse. Tomorrow is our trip to New York to see the Rockettes. We have free time in the morning. We aren't sure what we are doing yet. I am going to get up early to do PT and stretch but I am going to count the walking we do as my exercise tomorrow. I am not sure if I will be on tomorrow but I will try. Hope everyone has a great day! Can you tell I am tired, I am not sure if this makes too much sense...Good night!

    @Mrsbell8well You are amazing lady! I am still finishing up with decorating! I am not even sure how far I am with shopping....Dinner sounds delicious! No wonder your neighbor invited herself over Lol!
    @lennoncpa You seem like you are doing great with your holiday shopping too! It is nice when you can shop and enjoy the company!
    @Freeglerock I am with you, I am not done with my holiday preparations either! You are really doing well. What a great idea to reward yourself for losing over a stone with a new fitness tracker. I have had a fitbit for so long. You will have to let me know if you like it as much as you liked your fitbit.
    @nstephenson01 Glad you are still here. It is hard to coordinate eating with others. I am still trying to figure it out after the shore. We were doing well with dinners before I left. Now Shannon works and Jim just wants to order out. Ugh! I think focusing on nutrition may be what you need right now. I feel like you need a little change to spice things up. Hope the weather gets better for you. I know you and the dogs like your hikes. Hugs!
    @kirsten11872 I have been thinking of you all afternoon! It has been all over the news! How scary! I am glad that you and your family are alright. They are saying that the shooters were juveniles. How crazy! Good job with keeping up with everything even with all the craziness going on today.
    @phoebe112476 What a great idea for a hospital to have that vending machine. I am glad you are still able to eat healthy with all that is going on. Keeping you all in my prayers. xoxo
    @Cafelelia Rest up! You have had such a busy and emotional week. No worries about catching up right away. Just get back into your routine and catch up when you can. Hugs!
    No need to thank me. We are a good team! xo
    @tryingagain5 I am curious where he wanted your carbs, fats and protein. I always struggle with that too but I am not even sure where they should be. It is so nice that he guides you with nutrition as well as exercise.
