Is everyone else able to see the habit tracking spreadsheet? My phone says no......

I think on the phone you need to have the Google Sheets app - I hope that works! If not, let me know and I'll find a way...

Hmm @kilobykilo I have to think about the Fitbit challenge! I’ve literally never tried one of those, mostly because I haven’t cared all that much about the steps. Might be fun!

I’m kinda excited for next week and to get back to everyday life and start finding a good rhythm for things. My vacation has definitely been long enough since I’m actually kinda waiting to go back to work on Tuesday. I also have an appointment with my trainer and we’ll be setting some 2020 goals, and I’m meeting a nutritionist on Friday. Before those things, I do have to get back to my regular sleep schedule, it’s currenty 1.40AM here and I’m still up, not good.
  • @boehle @Beka3695 I noticed my current weight on the spreadsheet was added as 249 instead of 349. Thanks!

    Weigh-in time for hipari!

Current weight for Sunday, Jan 5th (today’s rolling average): 99.0kg, which is 218.3 lbs.

This isn’t a very big progress, hoping for more now that the holiday season is over and I can start really working on making the everyday life better and creating better habits.

Hi all, this will be my twelfth month on the challenge. I'm Australian, mum to a 14 yr old.

2019 was a great year for me in terms of hitting health and weight goals, and I only have a few more pounds to lose before I transition to maintenance goals.

    My stats:
    169cm / 5'7'
    41 years
    Highest Weight: 263.5lbs/119.5kg (27th January 2019)
Jan SW: 146.2 lbs (30 Dec)
Jan Goal: 143 lbs (27 Jan) This is my end weight goal after a year of losing weight.

    Non-scale goals for this month:
    • Increase strength & fitness with HIIT twice a week
    • Yoga every day (Yoga with Adriene 'Home' 30 day challenge)
    • Maintain healthy eating habits (I do low-carb wholefoods & TRE/Intermittent fasting) as well as continuing with good sleep habits.

Today is the first day of the 2020 Step Challenge. We post a table of those with the most steps though ultimately this is a tracker of how you do week on week against yourself. In the last week I read that a step tracker app showed that the average steps per day was only 1,500 steps - yes, really. Every step you take is a step towards your goal, be proud of it, let us know and post here so we can create the highest team total!

If you don't have a tracker please let me know so I don't pester you

@TheMrWobbly yes! I need the step challenge in my life! Were last week's steps meant to be for December? If so I wont bother posting as I missed way too much of the month to catch up now!

2020 is definitely they year to check your messages. I was having text conversations with my SO about dinner and my Sister-I-L about my Dad's birthday at the same time and sent my S-I-L a message that said "and what about my vegan balls?"

@CatherineElizabeth13 do you have an hour or so on a weekend that you could batch cook for the week? Between that and my best friend the soup maker I manage to keep on track even when likmfe is crazy!

Are you in the UK? (99p makes me think you might be) if sonloom up JD Seasonings, their meal kits are my go to for weekend batch cooking, quick, tasty and healthy :)
  • @kilobykilo I think I will start batch cooking some generic sauces so I can save time. I'll carve out some time somewhere. I've seen the JD seasonings, I'll put in an order when I'm not recovering from post-Christmas poverty! My colleague swears by them.

I'm off to do some ice skating today so I'm hoping it sets me up for a good week :)

    SUNDAY HELLO
(that is not all the site business stuff)

WHEW what a weekend!!! So much craziness!

    The good:
*I have stayed within calories both days.
*I am getting my steps in - my commitment for January is 6k per day
*I have only had 2 drinks this weekend - this is subject to increase to 3... Still proud.
******correction - spent an hour on the phone with ex husband and his wife about baby shower... logging a whole bottle of Cabernet...******
*After a day of running around, looks like my daughter's baby shower will not be a disaster next weekend.

    The bad:
*We had a family emergency. @boehle was there to help me keep my mind off he situation. She didn't even pause or grimace when I said "wanna see?" Btw - my dad had a battle with a table saw - saw won round 1, but dad will fight another day.
*I don't have tomorrow off as usual
    *see wine post above

    The ugly:
none - except my dad's thumb!!! LOL

Sorry to hear about your dad's accident, and the ex stress - the Cabernet is understandable (and hey, it was only 1 bottle - could have been worse!). Well done for managing to stick to calories and steps despite the drama. One day at a time :)

We said goodbye to our daughter and family today...as they head back to Africa😢We ate our last meal together at Panda Express and after counting all the calories I’d eaten...let’s just say I didn’t have such a great day. Looking forward to getting back on track and normalizing tomorrow🙋🏼‍♀️ good night everyone💕
