So happy the scales are moving in the right direction. Food is going well. I’m getting gas my workouts in but not my walks at lunch - it’s so cold here right now. I can feel the difference of not getting my steps in. It’s supposed to be cold all next week (-26 degrees Celsius) so I need to figure out another way to get my walls in

The Y here has a community indoor walking track. Maybe something like that is available in your community.

    Thursday check in
Calories- clueless but I'll start trying to log tomorrow.
Coffee- good (I was given a big cup at work)
Exercise- I walked a lot and then I walked around my dining room table for 30 minutes because there was lots lightning flashes outside.
    steps 20,209 for (1/9)

This is your Moderator speaking: start logging. Don't TRY to start logging. Start logging. You know it works

Sorry about not tracking my steps this week! This group will inspire me to do it. My pledge: next Friday, I'll have steps to contribute (it's weekly, right?). Weekend goal: more water! more movement!

Friday Check In (late I couldn’t keep my eyes open last night)

    Calories over 🤦‍♀️
Exercise walked 30 minutes and met my step goal
    Water not enough

    Saturday goals
    1. Stay under calories
    2. Meet step goal
    3. Drink 72 oz water

Had a binge last night. This morning I have a food hangover.

If yours is new I would contact Fitbit customer support. With my charge 3 I had lots of trouble and they replaced it for me.

At least it was only one night and you recognized what happened. Was there anything that triggered it or just needed a night off? That happens to me sometimes. And I wake up the next day and am happy for the clean slate. Sounds like you have a great plan for today.

that is such a great suggestion. There is one but I wish it was closer to my work. I’m going to have to think of something though...

    Friday Check In

Calories:over for sure. Although I made good breakfast and lunch choices we had A&W for supper. I just hate cooking on a Friday after working all week. It wasn’t horrible what I ate but I could have made a healthier choice. I know what I need to do next time.

    Exercise: none; rest day
Water: good. Friends came over to play cards and I drank water

    Opportunities for Saturday:
    1. On my way to do a 45 minute walk/run on my treadmill
    2. Drink lots of water; always have a water bottle with me
    3. Grocery shop
    4. get 10,000 steps in

I stayed up late watching tv and got super drowsy. This always weakens my will power. Will do better tonight.
