I had a lovely potluck lunch with 9 other women today. We started meeting when our children were really young, and we have kept going for 27 years now! We don't get together very often any more, only once or twice a year, but it is a fantastic group, and our discussions are always thought provoking. We like to pick some kind of question or theme and then everyone gets a chance to answer it and be the focus for a few minutes. Each person gets their few minutes to be the centre of the discussion and their answer to the question or thoughts on the theme are looked at and discussed by everyone. Of course, there is plenty of chaos and occasional hilarity, but I always enjoy the ideas that come up and get explored. Today ended up being a lot about a risk we each need to take this year. What do we need to do that might be scary or difficult - the answers were varied and interesting, as always.
Anyone who feels like sharing their risk for 2020 is welcome!4 -
I've had such a good weekend being on track... FINALLY ! I exercised each day and ate within calories... So yesterday I did a 30 min yoga practice, well i had just upped it to beginner 2 a couple of days ago, but this practice ended up being really hard, i mean stuff I'd never done before, I was shaking and sweating, had a ton of balancing... anyway turns out I accidentally changed it to intermediate when I was messing around with the settings... whew, man was that a relief, I was thinking there is NO WAY, i can keep this up... todays was much more my speed... lol The people who made that app, made a Barre app also, that was alot of fun, but pretty tough I only did a 5 minute thigh/butt workout, but I like it... I wish they would do a pilates app... I haven't found one for that, that I like yet... Anyway, hope you all had a good weekend !5
