Creeping down very slowly this month. Annoying given my calorie deficit and exercise schedule. Thinking about it rationally though, I lost over 5% body weight in Feb so progress was bound to slow a bit; its period week; I had margaritas last night so the salt will have upped my water retention.
Let's hope there's a big jump coming next week!5 -
Also I need to focus on the overall positives rather just the scale readings.
Yesterday I cycled the fastest 20km I've managed in the last three years. I also ran a continuous 5km for the first time in a few years. It wasn't exactly record breaking speed - 35 mins - but I did it without any walking breaks.3 -

Good Morning...It's hard starting over, but as any of you know that have been on a longer weight loss journey, it's necessary. I grew complacent, got tired of counting calories, got lazy and gave into cravings and binges. Thought getting away from the scale would help...DUH! Anyway, I'm back and ready to work again. It's scary how fast the pounds can come back on. I literally think I could look at food and gain two pounds...it's just disgusting. I'm more than a little disappointed in myself and not sure how long it will be before I can look at myself in the mirror without crying. IT'S SO FREAKIN HARD!
OK, pity party is over...thank goodness my activity levels were consistent! With the exception of a few sick days, I kept up the 7k steps a day. That will continue. Gotta get back to the REAL work though and stop eating crap every day.
I could try to get philosophical on "what we do this to ourselves", but no use in whining...just gotta take it one meal at a time again until I get stronger...hope ya'll aren't too disappointed in a captain who admits her faults. All I can say is "I'm going to try"...
My first weigh in will be Wednesday...keep me in your happy thoughts please...this week will be rough.
