Feeling like a yo-yo, I have no idea why what worked so well the first week didn't work at all last week. I'm still counting and recording everything to stay below my calorie goal. I do feel better even if the numbers on the scale aren't moving.
welcome to the club. A big loss for you next week no doubt--hang in there.2

Boo. Mid-week curse. Gets super busy at work and I'm glued to the computer. Only managed 4000 by pacing whilst talking on phone and a quick lunchtime nip round the block.
 But there's always tomorrow!2

Totally terrible day yesterday. Self-sabatoge, emotional eating, no exercise ☹️ and now set to travel which will only make it worse 😩... one step forward, two back... will hopefully get back on the bandwagon next week....

I'm sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Maybe you can just do one thing that is positive each day for the rest of this week you may feel a little better. We all get some bad days. We just can't give up. Hugs for you!3

Gym today finally after a couple days interruption for various and sundry. Sometimes I get frustrated that a few older folks (in their 80"s) are using swim lanes for slow, puttering-along "water aerobics". Then I think to myself that if I am still at the gym in my 80"s I will be proud; even if it's not at the pace of the younger crowd it is still valuable and praiseworthy. My role model is the 86 year old guy I rode up the ski lift with a couple years ago--free skiing is evidence of "making it". Everyone at the gym is doing their best--be generous and kind.6

Ok... so expect a MASSIVE gain this week (sorry team!) I’m out of town, haven’t gotten to the gym, eating a tonne, haven’t been logging... 😟 but am going to try to do a bit better today in term of watching portions and at least getting more steps in...
 Here’s my steps so far:
 3/3: 3821
 3/4: 6517
 3/5: 6174
And I’ll just have to work extra hard for the rest of the month to undo the gains I’ve likely made over the last 2 days... oh well. We’ll get it off... eventually!4
