My initial goal was 190 then I changed it to 180. As I get closer, I am not satisfied with how my body looks or my measurements. I am probably going to change my goal again but not sure if I should shoot for 170 or 165. I am 5’9”. Thoughts anyone?0 -

I used to log if I went for even a 10 minute walk but lately I haven’t been logging anything cuz I feel like I’ve been quite sedentary... but out of curiosity I logged it today and I’m looking at 4-500 calories when I combine all the walks and scooter rides I’m doing which makes me think I’m under eating and should log at least some of it... thoughts?0 -

I always log when it is exercise i wouldn't normally do in a day, everything other counts as NEAT to me, and just adds to my daily routine and thus to my average burn.
When i go for a small bicycle ride now withmy wife i do not count it as exercise, or if we go for a walk.
If i go alone on racing bike, well then i do count it, because i am in a different training zone then
Basically everything i use my polar strap for i count as exercise, because then i am actually training, everything else to me is normal activity1 -

I'm totally inconsistent. If I go for a walk while at work, I never log it. If I am at home and go for a walk around the neighborhood, I log it. If I spend 5 hours cooking/meal prepping on a Sunday, I don't log it. But if I spend 5 hours cleaning my house, I log it. I am no help at all LOL1 -

So I changed my goal from 180 pounds with a target of 1 pound per week to 170 with a target of 0.5 pounds per week. I was going to continue with one pound per week at the new goal but it decreased my calories to 1440 and I don’t think I can sustain that. With 0.5 pounds per week it has me at 1660. Just curious what y’all are doing with your targets. Please share!1 -

I’m still so far over my goal I’m not really helpful lol. But I think your reasoning sounds good and as long as you aren’t discouraged by a slower loss it sounds like a solid plan!

Day: I did ok today. Slipping back into less good eating habits which I need to keep working at. It’s the down side of losing weight, I have less calories to play with and am struggling to adjust a bit.
