Sorry to be MIA...I haven't been feeling well the past couple weeks. Think I am still adjusting to being back in FL (just moved back from being in VA for a bit over 18 months), so now my allergies have knocked me off my feet. Going to make hitting my goal a little tougher, but we have 10 more days left in the month...so going to still try to strive for it. I finally replaced the batteries in my Gazelle odometer today, so you may see that more to make up some of the miles since I can hop on it while watching TV. 😉

    2 April - 2.15 miles of walking
    20 April - 2.84 miles of Gazelle

Total to date: 4.99 miles of 40 miles.

@TAHM42 - That's fantastic!! That's must make you feel good!

@EMINATER - Great job resisting the gravitational pull of the couch!

@B3ACHY - Welcome back! Sorry you weren't feeling good. That's the right attitude though. Just do what you can do and see where you get. You might surprise yourself and still make your goal! At the very least, you'll be happy and proud of yourself that you didn't give up. :flowerforyou:

I thought it was going to be too hot to run today so I went for a walk. Turns out it's a lovely day - tomorrow is going to be the hot day. I hope I didn't missed my last chance for a run this week! 53/75

Thanks guys!!! I've never been a jogger so that was a big deal. Just a walk 4.5 miles today because I have a couple of toes that roll on to the toe next to it and yesterday they were pinched and today are blistered. I also have a blood blister beneath a callous on my heel... I was almost tearful by the end...Any body got any advice?

Last Thursday I suffered a medical thing while riding my bike. The end result is I went down. My son was with me, called paramedics and I was taken care of. I did not hit my head at all, helmet is pristine. All tests, scans and x-rays all came back excellent. The only thing we could come up with is I was very depleted because this was dinner time and I did not eat before I went out to ride. I am an IDIOT! I am one bunch of bruises on my right shoulder, elbow and flex muscle on my right side and right ribs. Not one broken bone and no cuts/abrasions. Recovery is very slow going

Got in 1.5 walking yesterday walking Georgie. We went to the city cuz I had to do my full panel blood draw early this morning! It was super sad to see what this crazy shut down is doing to these businesses! Even while getting my blood drawn at Lab Corp she said she didn't think they were going to be able to stay open much longer!
Today I ran 2.25 & walked .75. It was sorta windy but 70*!

@KAR328 - Always resourceful! And no run-ins with wildlife this time.

@ANACONDA469 - WOW! Glad you weren't seriously injured! And don't be so hard on yourself. :flowerforyou:

@TAHM42 - I've had good luck with "moleskine". You can get it at most any drug store, Target, Walmart. It comes in sheets and you cut it to the size you need. It's basically padded felt with an adhesive on the back. Cut it and stick it to the sore spot and it protects it until it heals. You may need to sterilize a needle and drain the blood blister...at least I would. It will take the pressure off and help it heal much faster. Good luck!

Aside from mole skin, there are bandaids that are blister bandaids. I swear by them. Also, since you get friction there, for the future try some body butter or body glide. It will prevent friction. I use it all the time when doing races or long biking. Hope you heal quickly. Blisters are painful.

Got in 4.5 riding bike & picking up trash with the two older grandsons this evening! We had our pouches, pockets & even our hoods full of garbage (mainly soda & beer cans). Glad we live in the country so our ditches don't get too bad! I also got my house cleaned & painted a dresser today!!
