@tahm42 - well done you for stretching yourself. As for blisters, I swear by Compeed blister plasters/bandaids. They are awesome. I don’t know what the US equivalent is.

During the walk I burst the taped blood blister... So at least the pressure is off of the heel. The tape did well for the toes but caused blisters on the adjoining toes... This too shall pass.2 -

@Anaconda - Susan, that sounds painful! Glad you're OK.
@tahm42 - That sounds really painful. I've had good luck with Moleskin for hiking but newskin for running and biking. It's pretty painful going on, but it works pretty nice. I just started using blister bandages this last fall. I was surprised how well they work. I did need gel on the next toe over to keep the friction down. I found I was wearing too thick of socks. I with with thinner socks and that solved the problem.

When I opened the front door this morning I was hit with a blast of hot, humid air and it wasn't even 7 am yet! I was so surprised I checked the weather, which reported Current Temperature 81F, Feels Like 91F. Well they got that right LOL. Not sure what kind of exercise I'm going to do today! I'm at 61/750 -

Midday today my DH went for a bike ride with me . My first road cycle in about 3 years - possibly 20 for him. During the last two weeks he has done 30 minutes, each day, on the stationary bike in training, to surprise me. He borrowed our sons’ road bike that is stored at our home. I’m proud of us both.

Yesterday, after the extra hot start to the day, a big front came through. It blew like crazy and rained for 15 minutes, and then I realized it was cool! So I went for a quick run. Later in the evening major thunderstorms rolled in so I time my exercise perfectly.

10 from walking the last couple of days!
Got a blonde 1950's long low dresser finally painted! Cleaned a mobile home for 6hrs for a bachelor friend & today I took EVERYTHING from my garage & stored it in a cargo trailer . I then washed top to bottom because a new paint job is NEXT!!
There is ALWAYS work & cleaning to do!!
