@1theresamcvean and @melaniedscott I am pretty sure that is a passion flower that you all are talking about.
Nope. I'm positve it is not passion flower. My gran would have no truck with a flower of that name (she was a bit prudish...passion anything would be right out...but she called surprise lilies (the tall pink ones) naked ladies...go figure)...I think it could be clymatis? My spelling is probably wrong...

@melaniedscott I believe you are right that it is a clematis!

    Happy Friday!

Skipped yesterday's workout but did it today and will also do a little yoga tonight.

Eating is on track so far, and so is water.

Our school had a "senior parade" for our graduating class. The teachers lined the parking lot and seniors drove through, honking horns and waving from their decorated cars. We rang cowbells and yelled and waved and it was awesome to be part of my work family again for a little while.

Melanie, Morning Glories look a lot like clematis and only a good gardener can fail. They normally grow in ditches and the worse the soil and care for them the better. Honest.

@Mrsbell8well I would probably like to lose 5 more pounds but I’m not sure that is possible. I seem to have stalled and I’m up a pound one day and back down the next. The eating plan that I’ve used to help me lose the weight seems to have me in a maintenance mode. I’m afraid to change anything since it’s worked to get me where I’m at. It would be hard to reduce my calories any more. I’m taking in about 1200 a day and usually that leaves me hungry which I’ve had a real battle with!!

    Maintenance weight 135.2

My steps have increased significantly since I have returned to normal life: 1) racquetball; 2) pickleball; 3) lots of yard work and mowing.

Have a great weekend and stay safe!

    Check in for Friday 6/5
    Food-logged and on target
    Water-over 80 oz
Exercise-45 min and 30 min walk, PT and stretching

I had another good day yesterday. I am hoping to get out soon for a walk as it is going to get hot and humid again today. I will get a walk in regardless and hopefully a swim too.

    Hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

@Ademann1 Nice loss! What a great start to June!
@lennoncpa Another nice loss! You have had such a good few months!
@Cafelelia Pizza sounds like a fun thing to make and of course yummy to eat. I feel like with you controlling what goes on top makes it healthier too.
@lenka1 I am sure you are just retaining fluid. I know you are doing great. No worries, just keep moving forward. The scale will catch up.
@Mrsbell8well I wonder if the cleanse also frees your mind from thinking about food. You have a plan for the week (or 10 days? I forget) so you really don't have to think about what you are eating, you already know. Glad it is going well. Btw-I was also craving churros Lol! Weird right?!
@GingerPwr How nice that your school found a way to celebrate the seniors. I am sure it was bitter sweet. I know this is not how anyone thought their senior year would end.
@hope002 Nice loss once again! Look at you go!!
@bburrer30 Wow! Wtg! Starting June off right!
@KUMEcyclingteam Great job getting that off! You are on track for a successful June!
@brown6267 Awesome week! I am glad that things are returning to normal and you can once again do all of your activities! :)
@ljdanny Ugh! I know this was you are just getting back to work so I am hoping you are just trying to get used to your new schedule. You really have been doing well and was in a good routine.

sorry my weigh in is late. i came on thursday to log it and then i got sidetracked. my weight went up, hoping it's tom. i don't get my period anymore just all the other fun symptoms that go with it. i have been getting up at 4am everyday to workout except yesterday i took a rest day. i have been measuring all my food. i started back to work monday, i was exhausted by last night. i slept through the night well at least til 4:45 and i don't do that often. i am going to a cookout today at my sil house just us and the kids and my granddaughters so it will be small. june 15th my state can open back up fully except for 4 counties which can only open half up and i live in one of those counties, of course.

@ljdanny I was surprised because I knew you were doing so well and being so consistent. I bet anything it is some hormonal thing. I am sure that will come off and then some. Keep doing what you are doing! Enjoy the cookout! It sounds like fun and it will be nice after such a long week. :)

    Daily check in Friday
    Cleanse yes day 6
    Yoga 45 minutes
    Sleep 9 1/2

Doing well. My goal was 150 by today. I was 149 😁. My goal is to maintain this week as I transition then 1 pound a week after that.
Getting ready to do the last of the weeds. Work on June planner, clean bathrooms and that’s about it.
@sleepymom5 yes it’s such a mind cleanse too. I grab my juices and go. I cleaned the fridge this morning and made menus based on the fruits and veggies. Today I start transitioning to fruit. Mangoes and watermelon. I made a healing Swiss chard soup for my friend so I think I’m going to have some of that for dinner. I used veggie broth, carrots, celery, onion, Swiss chard, crushed chilies, ginger and turmeric. A group of us made a food box for her and her family. I made strawberry shortcakes, banana bread and the soup. She hasn’t been able to eat much but she said she ate almost the whole jar as soon as it was dropped off. And a small bit of short cakes.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello all & happy Saturday! Hope you’re doing well!

I’m feeling good! I got back on track the last 2 weeks with my eating & I finally worked out this morning after a few weeks of slacking! That’s my goal, to get back to my regular workouts!

I’m happy with my weigh-in. It’s a hot, sunny day here. Going to BBQ today & enjoy the weekend! My son is almost done with school. I managed to get him caught up with his school work. This is the last week he will have work & the 19th is the last day of school, but grades have to be in by the 12th, so that is one less stressor in my life!

    Enjoy your day & weekend!😊☀️🤗

    Friday check in
    Food - on target
    Water - 2l
    Exercise - 5km walk, 11,539 steps
Yesterday was a really good day. I am amazed at how well my leg and hip have done with my increased walking. It is encouraging and I hope to gradually convert back to running. I am not putting a deadline on that and will just see how it goes. We had another peaceful march in Toronto yesterday, and a really large one this afternoon, where police knelt with protesters at city hall. I am proud of everybody for working together. I hope that we can continue keep things peaceful and that some constructive good will result.
@pacsnc6 - That is so amazing that you are going into your last treatment! Huge hug to you! Congratulations to your grandson!

It sure is a crazy world right now. I know I need to be kind to myself. Thanks for the pep talk. As they say "you are your own worst enemy" I know me gaining weight back isn't going to change anything, except for possibly my health.

Yes, I was glad Wednesday's protest was peaceful. There's another one tonight that is supposed to end at 8pm. I hope it stays peaceful. It was just last Saturday that all the rioting and looting happened. I pray there is not a repeat of it once it gets dark.

I'm glad your protest was peaceful.

I'm still walking with my neighbor everyday and got in a couple of medium intensity workouts the last couple of days. Still need to get that and my eating back under control. Just going to take it one day at a time.

Ahhh husband’s birthday, dinners & drinks x last two nights, although I did manage to go for a walk today - but for the last three days haven’t logged a thing and have eaten more than I should and drank more than I should. Neighbourhood drinks and party tonight even. Brush off - start again, will probably regret weigh in tomorrow. God once I start losing it I find it hard to reign myself back in
