    Ice packs are my ankles best friends. I have walked for years and years and never sprained my ankle. I don't even know how I did this. Man! This is crazy!

    Sprained ankles really hurt. Just use "RICE". Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. A little ice cream usually made me feel better as well but I think that was just me. :smile:

    Well last week was my best ever with 18.07 miles out and about walking but I didn't get on the bike so that's a thing I have to work on.

    Chris, I'm sorry about your ankle. It happens to me all of the time.

    A busy week AGAIN! I NEED a vacation from my family!!!
    I've walked another 8.5 & rode 6.5 on bike. I also got the okay to resume my fitness classes & did one last night!

    19th: 6 miles- MTD 96.83
    20th: 6 miles - MTD 102.83
    21st: 3 miles - MTD 105.83
    22nd: 8.34 miles, 6.34 m stationary bike, 2 m purposeful walking - MTD 114.17
    23rd: 7.5 miles, 5 m running, 2.5 m purposeful walking - MTD 121.67

    Continuing to pile the miles on. Can't believe I'm over 100 miles now! It's been a long time since I've done that! My 20-yr old son came over with his bike yesterday and we did a vigorous 8.1 mile ride around town. He managed to keep up with me. Not sure he even broke a sweat. lol :smiley:
