2.1 mile walk. Came home to find a strange car in my driveway. It was my realtor in a different car, she came to trim my hedges before we do pics on Sunday so I can list my house next week. I'm already under contract for a cute one in the 55+ part of the subdivision about 1.5 miles away. I wasn't ready for this, but made the mistake of looking and loving it. The inspection is tomorrow (fingers crossed). I knew she was coming over today, just didn't think it was that early
NC announced another 3 weeks of no gym :-( We're doing classes outside on the turf but the one my favorite instructor does is too late for me to do and show up at work freshly showered.
So excited for you!!!!0 -
darkrider42 wrote: »@KAR328 - That's pretty nice of your realtor to trim your hedges for you! She must either really need a sale or she is doing it out of appreciation for your profession, which I agree would be a wonderful thing for her to do. Very happy for you getting to move into a place you will love even more and I hope everything goes smoothly for you!!! :flowerforyou:
Dave
@Dave, I don't think it's either of those, I think that's just who she is. Of course she wants a sale, but looks like she does well, she's about to move into a three story house and buys other houses all the time. She also told me she sleep 3-4 hours a night and I know I can reach her outside of normal business hours.

Thank you, Dean...orange vanilla cream is my favorite ice cream right now. It shouldn't be, but it is.
Thank you @djmicheals for your kind words.

That's awesome!! That's GOAL for @JOEMO, @VHUBER, @KAR328, and @CPANUS!!!
Thanks @DEAN! I had no idea I was going to shift it into gear this much this month! My sweetie got a bike recently and went on her first ride with me yesterday. We went 4 miles at a pace slower than my usual, so I still went and did my 8 mile route right after. And then we went for an evening walk of 1.5 miles. I can't remember the last time I did 13.5 miles in a day, much less an entire week!
@KAR328 - Sounds like you just have an awesome, hard-working realtor that is successful because she puts her everything into it for all of her customers. Don't see that very often.
And with that, it's Friday!! Have a happy weekend, everyone, and keep 'er MOVING!!

@kar328 - how exciting and how stressful for you, a house move.
@Janet - sounds like you’re going to be very busy helping your kids to move.
We’ve been experiencing a heatwave her in the UK too. Though, as always, our extremes are lower than yours. But we’ve still found it VERY hot.

A good week despite the heat new TTD 77 miles. We had thunderstorms and welcome rain last couple of days so hope all will be green again soon and our beaches and beauty spots will empty of the litter bugs.0

Thanks, Dave!!! You are the best. I sat down last night to update and discovered that they had packed the modem and I had no way to get on the internet to update.

Good Monday Morning Everyone!
I am most likely going to be just short of my goal, I have 8 miles left but going to try to get at least a mile in today and tomorrow.
My wonderful supervisor has COVID, had visible signs of it with fever & sweating buckets, but came to work anyway last week after having to specifically told to stay home. She would come in after everyone left for the day. She has gotten written up. Who needs to be told to stay home when you're ill with this crap? Everyone in the office is extremely worried because we all are immuno-compromised or have a close family member that is. I started showing symptoms on Monday with a pounding headache, coughing, sore throat, chills, and body aches. So has another girl.
I spent Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in bed just drained. I have been tested and it was thankfully negative, but the flu is also going around with many of the same symptoms. I will be off of work all this week also until I can get a second test later this week. Fortunately we have a testing site in the next county. I am feeling better but still pretty tired and with a headache but I'm moving.
I hope everyone stays as safe as possible.

Good luck on selling your house, I hope it's a quick turnaround. Congratulations on finding a new one that you love so quickly!
Our secretary was extremely fortunate with a 30 day turnaround with her purchaser, the purchaser wanted to move in immediately. They were so surprised because it sold 11 hours after they listed it. They are moving across the country and thought they had time to find one they liked. Luckily they found a house but it isn't exactly what they want but will do for now.0 -

@DJMICHEALS - Oh man...I can't believe she came in and contaminated the workplace! Even if she didn't encounter another live person, she still touched surfaces that other would have to touch to access the building! How thoughtless. So sorry....and sorry you're sick now too and am crossing my fingers that you remain negative for COVID-19!!
Got a HOT 3.0 mile walk in yesterday my sweetie. She hung in there for the entire thing too! So proud of her.
