Quiet in here today so far!! You must all be out moving? I've gotten a 7.0 mile outdoor bike ride in so far, but will for sure be doing the daily walk with my sweetheart when she gets done with work.

It's been a busy & an emotional weekend. We lost a good friend. His viewing with family tonite was bittersweet. He had a type of dementia that moved super fast (8months) & it was a blessing that it was only that long because it's been sooo hard on his wife & children. He was only 2 years older than I but the disease aged him to where he looked about 90 years old! Tomorrow is his funeral & he will be greatly missed!!
I took my dog & my sons dog for a 3 mile powerwalk after I got home. I needed it...

@Vhuber - Sorry for your loss. Grateful that it was relatively quick for the family but to watch him decline must have been extremely painful.0

@VHUBER - So sorry to hear about your friend! (((HUGS)))
I got a walk in last night of 1.85 miles. Not a terribly fast one as there were 2 or 3 long stops due to dogs that had to be petted.

Happy Tuesday! I'm totally skipping Monday because it was totally a pita. This week I didn't do as many miles walking as I did last week but I picked up a few miles on the exercise bike so I am happy with it. The plan is to do better this week because I'm not quite 1/2 way.
June 8-14, 13.24 walking & 3 exercise bike for a total of 16.24 last week.
June 1-14 total miles is 32.84
@vhuber - I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend.
@darkrider42 - you always have to stop to pet doggos.

Some walking and running. I'm at 27/75. The ups and downs of life -- friends to be mourned, dogs to be petted. @vhuber - sorry for your loss

Thanks you guys!! You know? YOU are the BEST!!!!
The day was sad but nice. Due to Covid they had the funeral at their farm (which we & other friends helped get ready for on Sat) & the weather was PERFECT!! We've had unreal wind & today was a strong breeze & everybody was thankful.
I ran 3 miles right away this morning & walked 1 this evening.

Not sure where I'm getting all this energy from, but I did 2.0 miles on the home treadmill earlier today and didn't run into any doggos that needed skritches or petting. And then tonight after dinner I went on another 7.0 mile bike ride to some new neighborhoods. The bonus miles are stacking up quickly!

Some good walks in last few days. New TTD 45 miles0

@vhuber belated condolences.
@dave pet all the dogs
2 mile walk. I was going to do a video, but it stopped raining so I went out. the gym has started morning classes, but the weather has forced them to use zoom rather than do them outside in person. Only one is early enough for me to do, I emailed the Fitness Director and told her that was an issue. The one today has an instructor who rubs me the wrong way so even if the time was good, I still wouldn't do it. Only two people signed up for her class.
So, two days ago I went under contract for a house. It's in the 55+ part of my subdivision. I'm currently in a townhome on a crowded block with too many cars and kids. It's time to go. My brain hurts from information overload. The walks help.

Thank you Chris & dang it about the sprained ankle!! Was it on the opposite leg from surgery?
@kar328, thanks to you too & oh how exciting on a new home!!!! I would LOVE to move!
Got in another 3 mile "run". That's three days in a row!! Must say that since having what I believe was covid I am not as in shape as before. I'm slower & my breathing is like I could use an inhaler. But at least I can still RUN 3 miles!!! LOL
Gotta get the rugrats to bed. Talk to ya all tomorrow! Keep moving those @sses!

I got a good, sweaty 3.0 mile walk in yesterday over lunch. Not sure what I'm doing today yet. At least one walk, maybe a bike ride too if the rain holds off. Otherwise I might hit my treadmill or exercise bike again later today.
