@Dave - Don't let the rain stop you from riding your bike. It just means you don't need a water bottle when you can drink the water running down your face.1

@DEAN - LOL! I would've considered it except there was a little too much wind & lighting out there to go with the rain.

I added 11.0 more miles today. First 8.0 on the bicycle and then 3.0 walking. Not sure how long I can keep this up, but it feels good for now.

Congratulations going out to @anaconda469 and @2essie ! Wow, with 10 days to go!
This is always the busiest weekend of the year for me. I have to host the annual meeting for the place where I volunteer, plus husband's birthday, father's day, a board meeting to attend. On and on. Half way through - whew!
@sufferlandrian - those are some nice pictures!1 -

@vhuber: This is late in coming, but I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I lost my mother to dementia. She was the same age as I am now...66. Herm’s was early onset and she also looked like she was in her 90’s. I was 33 when she died and nurses often would say to me that the age was incorrect on her medical cards or on the forms that I filled out. They thought she was my grandmother. It is such a horrible disease along with so many others. I pray that God spares me of it.
It has been such a hectic month for me. I have been putting in lots of hours in my MG gardens, church gardens and my own with grass cutting at three places. Squeezing in some hiking, running and biking early in the morning or late evening. I hope the next week allows me to come up for some air.

...sorry for lack of check-in but have been moving! Up to 40 miles so far for the month. Feeling good that I may finally, after several months of not doing so, hit my goal for the month!
