10/27 (down under) I love the 'No Nonsense November' idea. My goals for November:
    - Pre log calories daily - re check to validate in the evening
    - 100k steps per week. (reduced by 5k steps if per hour of bike riding)
    - Swim 3k per week
    - Gym workout 3 times per week
    - Carbs goal achieved daily and weekly

Love the idea of no-nonsense November!
    1. Definitely are under calories/carbs today as the parents of my daughter’s friend (he’s been staying with us since college went online in March) arrive tonight from Mexico for a week long visit. Feeling the nerves!
    2. 5 mile training run plus another 7 miles walked at work.

Is it too late to join this party? I think that I read that newbies can join anytime. I lost about 50 lbs in 2018 on keto and fell off the wagon right around this time of the year. Now, 2 years later, I've gained back more than half of that weight. My goals for Oct/Nov are:
Get back into keto: <30g carbs per day
Pre-logging all my food/snacks & staying UNDER my 1200 goal!
    75k steps per week
Walking at least 30 mins per day (Mon is my rest day)
Weight lifting at least 3x per week
    Starting weight (today) is: 189.5

I have done a good job of keeping calories in check and eating like I should. Rode the bike on Friday but had to cut the ride short as it started raining (hard!). I stayed active for the weekend running errands and doing chores around the house. Haven't ridden this week because we had a cold front move in (not a problem) with rain (problem). Will have to hit the elipticle later today to make up for the lack of exercise.

@Megan_smartiepants1970 that's awesome! How often do you do long walks like that? A couple of summers ago I was walking average 10 miles on the weekends. A couple of times I walked 15 and 18 miles as well! I lost over 50lbs that summer walking and doing keto. I can't wait to get back to it!! I walked 6 miles yesterday and 3 today. My knees hurt today from the 6 miles. Kudos to YOU!

Very close to the mile mark already today, with many hours to go, so I think it's in the bag.

Received my food packets today, and I'm very excited to get going on the food piece of my plan this coming month. I think i made good selectiions and have really worked on figuring out a do-able way to approach this; taking into account my particular sabotage patterns and specific emotional triggers.. They are there and omnipresent; so I'm addressing them in hopes of assuaging them within the food plan.
    Time will tell.

    10/28:
Food was a total fuster cluck yesterday, was doing good until MBH got home from work and made Caldo... diet totally went out the window at that point.
Exercise - no deliberate exercise, still wet and rainy and couldn't drag my lazy self onto the elipticle to work out.

Did get a good 40 minute session on the elipticle this morning (kinda makes up for yesterday, maybe)... On to bigger things today.

I went over on my carbs, but stayed well under on my calorie goal. (Still working on trying to get those carbs right).
    14,412 steps
30 minutes zumba and 45 minutes walking outside

Calorie goal: I bit over my ideal deficit but based on activity I should have still had a deficit. Bigger issue was I overate at dinner to avoid having leftovers and had more carbs than normal to soothe the blues I was feeling. That doesn’t happen often and I was completely aware but did it anyway. No snacking though. Here’s to a better today!

Food - calories good, a little low because of over-indulgence the day before.
Exercise - 42 minutes on the eliptical to start the day (20 minutes of that was intervals), finished the day with 7000 steps.
