@mainebeachbum - Well, water weight is still technically weight, and I think that this is a good demonstration of just how much weight can fluctuate, even over the course of a week. So, while we could replace your weight last week with something else, I believe that being accurate is more important than being "not-extreme". Let me know what you think. Either way, 8.2 lbs is impressive, regardless of how much of it is water weight.
@Queenieamy - I logged your updated weight. But maybe it would be a good idea to weigh in tomorrow, or later this week, just to see how your scale behaves? A random dip for a day is normal, but a lasting loss that high may be problematic. Also, when was the last time you changed the battery in your scale?
I'm super behind on posts (logged on to find 36 notifications!), so I won't be able to respond to everyone, but I want each of you to know that I support you on your journey and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful community here.
Quick update on me:
No more lingering symptoms, living alone has my mental health in a bit of a tailspin, so I'm working on putting in a bit more effort in my friendships and reaching out to others who may be in similar situations. Did quite a bit of stress eating last night, but I also took two spin classes yesterday morning, and I didn't log a lick of food from yesterday, so it's a toss-up for how I'm doing.

Last week I was really struggling with holding water due to an allergic reaction, I bounced up several pounds and fought back down. I think I'm back on track, so here's hoping I keep on losing6 -

Wow! Could it be the translation from stones getting in the way? Perhaps PM me your last weight and the one before in stones.0 -
Have a great week let's hit these goals!

Big hug, Ashley @minstrelofsarcasm .
Remember that you recently spent two weeks in quarantine. I remember that messed me up in April.
You've got more to worry about than most when considering the science of Covid with MS. And I'm guessing your scientific mind has chewed on that more than a bit.
Forgive yourself for stress eating last night. You very well could have been hungry from a double spin session. In any case, move along.
I love the graphic you shared. A hairpin turn? Quite the metaphor. On one hand, highly feminine and masculine all at once. Could we take that to mean balance? On the other hand, the pent-up urge to put your foot on the gas again after the caution you've been forced to take in recent weeks.

Hello all! Welcome to a new week!
I had a bit of a gain this past week. Not exactly what I wanted, but I am feeling ok. I am still at a good weight for me. I had a few days of eating too much & not being as active, the results showed on the scale. I did not do great over the weekend, lots of plans, but I am back on track today. Hopefully I will see the 140's in the next week or 2.
I think this will be my last month in this weight-loss challenge. I am going to get into maintenance mode, I really do not want to lose much more, so I think by the end of this month will be it for me. I would still like to be part of the group, but I just won't be trying to lose weight.
@1theresamcvean would it be ok if I remained in the group, but not part of the weight-loss part. I am going to start maintenance, I do not think I will be able to maintain if I lose much more.
Hope you all had a good weekend! Have a great day!5 -

Congratulations, Kirsten @kirsten11872 !
What a great plan you have on beginning maintenance.- PM me your maintenance weight range. It can be as wide or narrow as you'd like it to be. For example, 145 to 155, 148 to 150. And your magic number, i.e. specific goal weight, e.g. 149.
- Starting on the first week of November you'll be in the Goal Zone on team Weight No More. You come here as usual and post your weight once a week with the aim of staying in your zone. If you go over your zone weight for too many weeks, I think it's three, you come back into weight loss.
- You will join the GOAL ZONE maintenance chat in F2F at the same time as staying on your regular team. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10803339/goal-zone-maintenance-chat#latest

So, I didn't have the greatest day yesterday that is why I didn't check in. I should have though. Saturday went well. I did great as far as eating and drinking at the party. Unfortunately while I was there I took a step and my knee had bad pain. No twisting or anything like that. It was really bad yesterday and I ended up going to the Urgent Care. Turns out they think it is an arthritis flare up. I guess she made the diagnosis from what the xray showed (degenerative chages) and my symptoms. I got steroids and naproxen and had a miserable day yesterday. There weren't any positions that didn't hurt. I ended up just being cranky and didn't make the best choices eating. I had a good night sleep surprisingly, the night before I had a horrible night with the pain. Today I do feel a lot better. I have much less pain and can position my knee and be comfortable for more than 5 minutes. I also can walk much better. So I am just moving forward. I am wondering if my lower back and hip issues I have had lately could also be arthritis? I have to make an appointment with my doctor once I am feeling better. I really don't know a lot about arthritis so I want to look into it more. I feel silly complaining on here when we have a lot of members dealing with so much more than me. I am already out of my snit and moving forward. Slowly but moving Lol! Ok, I have to go. I spent so much time catching up with all of you! Let's have a great week!
@goingape Nice loss! Especially with Thanksgiving
@Cafelelia You have me thinking about my outdoor space now. Why should the girls just enjoy the fire pit? I will have to look into those hot water bottles.
@1theresamcvean Funny about the puppies, I guess with them being so small that is understandable. I hope they are all doing well. What a good idea for an outdoor heater. Hopefully you can hide it away when you are not using it. I also have to tell you I had some of that Stash Chocolate Mint tea the other night. It is sooo good! Lol with the pic of the lady with the neck brace and description!
@kirsten11872 How exciting! I am glad that you are to your goal but plan to stay in the group! Congratulations! I am so happy for you!!
@KUMEcyclingteam Maintaining isn't a bad thing, better than gaining right? Maybe look over and see if there is anything you can change. Those donut holes sound like a good start lol!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Another successful week. I am complaining about a little knee pain and look what you put up with all the time. I need remember you for inspiration.
@mainebeachbum Wow! Great weigh in even taking into consideration that some was fluid. Sounds like you had a good day too. Love that you are checking in frequently too!
@meltzz @hope002 Nice loss!
@Freeglerock Hooray! 160s! I am the same way if I know there are treats in the house. That's why I have my problems in the summer when I have guests. At least they are gone now.
Sounds like you have been having a good week though.
@mxlaw90 Nice loss and sounds like a good plan moving forward. Sometimes we have to adapt to what life throws us and that is exactly what you did last week. OMG! 3 dogs! They are so cute!!
@annliz23 Maintaining isn't bad. If you are doing what you should be, keep it going. If you are doing something that you know probably isn't the best, change it. Besides, didn't you just come off vacation? If so, maintaining during a vacation is a win in my book!
@tryingagain5 I am sorry about your knee. I hope that it gets better soon. I am glad that you are able to go to the gym and work around your knee. Good idea to call the doctor and see what the next step is
@CassieGetsFit2013 Good luck with your busy week. Sending hugs!
@debbiewsharpe Nice job getting under your magic number! Amazing steps as usual! I am missing my sole mates but think I made a good choice sitting out this month.
@ljdanny Your granddaughter must be at such a cute age! I am glad that you enjoyed the celebration. Good luck at the doctors this week. Too bad we didn't live closer, we could hobble a mile together Lol!
@Cuddleme72 I hope you have a better week pain wise. I had a bad pain day and ate so I can't imagine where I would be if it was a week. Sending hugs!
@kittengirl88 Nice loss! I love those walking videos! I have only been doing Leslie Sansone but if there are others you recommend please share.
@melaniedscott Remember, I don't know what I am doing as far as gardening. I thought that planting was for the spring? Since I had been at the shore all summer, our plants are so overgrown and there are so many weeds. I can't get out and take care of it but hopefully soon. Someone was supposed to be taking care of things but that didn't happen. Looks like you got a lot done. That is very physical work! I also agree with your statement about moving. My physical therapist said "motion is lotion" which I agree.
@Queenieamy Wow! Is there any scale you can compare to? Hopefully there is still a nice loss
@minstrelofsarcasm I am glad that you do not have any lingering symptoms. I like that you are taking your mental health into consideration and have a plans to hopefully help. These are tough times to be living on your own. Hopefully purposely making contact with others will make a difference for you. Sending hugs!5 -

@1theresamcvean thanks for the information. My goal weight range is 147-153. I want my goal weight to be 149. I would like to be in the 140's, even if it is just a pound. I definitely want to stay in the group, if maintenance is harder than I think & I gain some weight, I will go back into the weight-loss part of the group.
@sleepymom5 thanks! Hope you feel better soon! My knee has been bothering me, it is annoying to have discomfort. xo1 -
I didn’t track my calories yesterday. I also didn’t wear my Fitbit which literally reads 8 steps. 😂. I’m guessing I got about a mile just walking around doing housework. Today I’m at 1160 calories and 10324 steps.

@kirsten11872 how exciting for you to be so close to maintenance!
@sleepymom5 glad you are back!
@minstrelofsarcasm - virtual hugs. I had been doing some card/letter writing earlier in the covid zone. It’s another way of reaching out and staying in touch. I’m always better and getting my thoughts done on paper.
@kittengirl88 solid loss this week!
Hugs everyone! I’m ready to have a good week. I was off work today and have been taking my two learner drivers out for driving practise. So my heart rate is definitely up there. : D
I have been doing lots of planning ahead lately. I’m journaling each night. I’m pre-entering my food in my diary which I’m finding is helping keep to my plan. And I’m thinking a lot about my fitness plans. I have lots of exercise classes coming up end of October. My hubs has just joined a gym and I’m debating joining too. I miss the weight machines, we don’t have many options at my work gym. Although the smart thing would be to wait till January when my classes are finished.

Well my fiancé started night shift last night he’ll be on that for the next three weeks. We got our first snow of the year and temps have dropped we are in the teens every morning now. I had to start wearing my thermals which I was oddly excited about I love the cold lol.
Work has been stressful it looks like dig season is over which this is really early for us to be so slow. It normally slows at the earliest late November to end of December. My area hasn’t had a dig ticket in two days so I’ve been jumping around helping other areas. Talk of layoffs are going around again and we haven’t hired anyone since the bust. I don’t think I’ll be laid off since I can jump around to other areas. But hours are slowing down. As a locator I make my money in spring summer and fall which we call dig season and then we just go to almost part time during the winter waiting for the next dig season. Once it gets too cold it’s hard to dig so a lot of it depends on the weather and partly the economy. I know a lot of companies put off projects until next year because of the bust. I sat on a pipeline dig last week and they were saying they don’t have work after that project and they’ll finish that project next week. So it’s back to being thankful everyday I have work and each time I get a full days work in. 🤞🏻4 -

Hey Kandi, I put you down as 2,008 steps for yesterday since the average person takes 2,000 steps per mile.I like that you take a break from your Fitbit.
