Paula - so glad they got the fire quickly. So devastating how fast they can spread.

Had a nasty migraine that took me out for most of Sunday and part of yesterday. Felt terrible. Hoping today will be better!

Paula I once had a little French bulldog. While cute, they stink! Fart all the time! Congratulations on the loss! You go girl

Chris it was the strangest thing. I was side tracked making the bread. Not sure how much flour I used, or lack of it. Wish I knew, since it was glorious. So moist, but fully cooked. Took some to work and everyone kept saying it was the best they ever had. Now I have to figure it out and duplicate it.

Chris, my weight has also been going down, down, down. Unfortunately it is also bouncing up, up, up the following day. I'm not craving, not overeating, and expect this bobbly-wobbly plateau to turn into a significant drop (preferably before month end). Believe me, as soon as I earn the right to gloat, you will definitely hear about it!

    Paula o:)

    Shelley,
Your bread sounds extremely dangerous to the waistline. I might need to find someone for protection.

Hey Paula, that is why I bring it to work to share. The guys even went to the trouble of getting butter out of the freezer for it. Those men rarely ever do anything like that. And Libby Lu (our darling shihtzu) loved it also. I think that the Grimm is a good choice for protection.

And this weekend I need to start making cookies for our Holiday lunch at work. I am going to be making several small batches. Chocolate chip, Peanut Butter, gingersnaps, Sugar cookies and something chocolate. Just 1 or 2 dozen of each. Then Rocky can have his fix also.

Yea! Paula Way to get it done!

You got this, Kathy. We'll just keep at it together.

    Shelley, my address is... :D

Got my walking done by myself today. Every time I looked at my phone for my distance, I swore I should have been much, much further...dumb phone.

Not sure if any of you play XBox One games. Rocky and I do at times. Especially during the winter. Tonight we are going to Game Stop to see if we can find something new. I enjoyed Fable I & II. Dead Island and some other open world games.

Hope you found something at Game Stop, Shelley. Pat and Pete like playing games. Sara every once in a while...me? Nopey, nope. Ronan will probably join everyone in a year or two.

    You ladies are too funny!

So I joined a challenge in a Facebook group. She’s having a weekend challenge every weekend leading up to the New Year. This weekend’s challenge involves meeting your water goal of a minimum 64 or 96 ounces. Since I’m so bad at this I thought it was perfect for me. Can’t wait to see what the other challenges will be.

BTW I don’t need video games I’m hooked on Candy Crush! :D

Kathy you should give up the candy crush for something more exciting. I am sure there has to be some tennis games out there! I would join you in the water challenge. But it causes rust! :D

Chris we bought Witchers. Will try it out in a bit. Great job on getting your shopping done. Did I mention I hate shopping. I will enlist your help next year. ;);)

Well off to play my new game.

I completed Christmas shopping for both myself and my parents. I’d say 90% was done online. Chris I agree Amazon is amazing there’s nothing you can’t find. My other go to stores inline are QVC, Macy’s and of course WalMart. I found the cutest dolls in a site called Personal creations. My dad wanted them for the two great granddaughters. I was able to get African American dolls which sometimes can be a problem. The girls will love them, their names are embroidered on the doll’s dresses. Too cute.

Now the hard part...wrapping. I’ll probably use a lot of bags.

Busy day...went food shopping and grabbed a bunch of stocking stuffers as well. We are going to be making my Dad's famous cooking to keep the tradition alive. Won't be the normal party we usually have with COVID, just the people in my house. We have 135 dough balls to roll, stuff and bake. I'll be mailing a bunch to friend and family who love them....

Also writing out holiday cards and hope to make my spiced pecans....

Trying not to taste too much!

We walked this morning. I worked out for an hour then I wrapped and stuffed almost all our gifts. I didn't think about stocking stuffers...oh, man! I get to shop again!

Oh no Chris! You best get going!

Kathy that is great. I always try to find dolls that look like the girls. Glad you were able to get them personalised even.

Paula I am a wrapper. But my perfection issue gets in the way. It can take me an hour to wrap 3 gifts! This year I am more of a card gal.

Karen I sent out almost 30 cards today. I used to send out more. Sadly people are no longer all here. But I did keep the last cards they sent me. I still put them out at Christmas time.

Well I balanced my check book. Somehow I forgot to do it all last month! Then I did Christmas cards. Mailed them. Paid bills. Read a book and played a game with Rocky.

    Night all
