I agree there's some amazing sounding meals here!

My suppers have been really hit and miss for the past week and a half. Not terrible on the calorie front but certainly not great on the nutrition front.

    I love reading everybody's meals

Last night I had a tomato sandwich for dinner. I had a gyro for lunch and it was HUGE so I wasn't super hungry.

Tonight I will be using some leftover steak, baked potato, and zucchini to make hash and eggs.

Tomorrow will be some sort of chicken and veggies. It's supposed to be hibachi bowls but who knows what will actually happen lol.

Looks like you’re doing more at-home eating Athijade. Probably better and easier to manage than ordering in?

    Sounds delish!

Here's the ham plated, with roast carrots, tater, beans and pan broth drippings. Will defat tomorrow and make a mixed bean and ham soup to last several days.
We found bell peppers 25c each recently, and sweet onions for 61c, so cut up the rest for grilling today and tucked 4 bags about a cup each for cooking whatever, later.

meat cannelloni (of course frozen, this is me, duh!), one family tray (1110 Cal) and 750g / 210 Cal of california veg (caul, broc, carr), 3 peach cups, 600g greek yogurt... Cals are even with good stock of remaining already logged as eaten items... so all good

(1/3 cannelloni, 1/3 veggies, 500g yogurt with most of a peach cup are all available still... and I don't see more than one meal before sleepy time!)

Some lovely food fellow LL’s ….
Was takeaway yesterday - some veggie gyozas & soy sauce dip - then chicken teriyaki salad …. Gyozas were great, but didn’t like teriyaki; son’s got his eye on that for his lunch!
Going to do a spaghetti Bolognaise for tea tonight…..

Fourth of July leftovers today. A barbecued rib, some low fat potato salad, corn on the cob …. Still good but mercifully less food than yesterday. There will be some future penance.

Street tacos & whole green beans....

Anyone ever cook green beans on bbq? I have hesitated, figuring they would suffer dry heat.

I've cooked other veggies but won't they fall through?

We do small pieces on thick foil or in stainless steel pan.

I've done Asparagus on skewers (like a plank,) and was imagining skewered whole green beans.

I usually do green beans in covered cookware for moist environment.

Things like the sweet onions and peppers sweat a lot. Same for zuchini and eggplant (other favs.)

Made a carne asada style rub and marinade for the beef, chicken and the peppers and sweet onions we grilled on the 4th... will use similar on the beans, i think

    Tonight dinner...

Dairy queen small cone dipped in chocolate...and the cauliflower from the California mix of a couple of days ago added to a cauliflower, onions, garlic butter green giant restaurant side (so frozen veggies with sauce with extra veggies to spread the sauce) plus some extra onion... err nuked! Mmmm.... not the ice cream that was UN-NUKED!

lunch was three slices of domino's (300g actually) with 350g of baby tomatoes which I was too lazy to turn into an actual salad. Plus they are tasty enough on their own being from a friend's garden!

breakfast was 200 Cal of "blue menu" butter chicken because the dog got a good 170 Cal worth of rice out of the tray! I fluffed up the tray by using the broccoli from the aforementioned fix!

rounded out with "a few grams" of kit kat pops throughout the day, coffee and coke zero.

pretty much at maintenance today... maybe 1-150 under.

Now to run this through chat gpt and make it sound awesome!
