I was reading something about his this coning week is the week when people give up on their new years resolutions. I’m very confident with everyones efforts and momentum here that we won’t be losing team members cause of that.6 -

@cmhubbard92 I will need to come out of the water-step challenge etc. ...or I can start tracking this week and put my steps in from last week (I have a Fitbit..so it's doable). I don't want to bring our team down.
I'm just starting to get refocused after being away from home every day. I will start tracking again tomorrow, time to turn this around. Having a routine is so important for me to be successful. I will try harder team...this week and this month isn't over yet!3 -

@mooreshelly09I - that is devastating news. My heart goes out to you. I hope there is a light at the end of this covid tunnel soon. My parents get their first vaccine today - none too soon. Mom is 82 and dad late 70s, both with some COPD, history of blood clots, and other issues. I've been in anxiety/clinch mode since March about them. So many friends and family have died or been long-time stricken with covid. It's heartbreaking. I'm so sorry it's hit so close to home for you.
Everyone - hang in there! January is a hard month, especially when the 'newness' of the year wears off. But together we are stronger, and there is always someone here to lean on. We've got each other for support and motivation, and that means a lot to me!
Yesterday turned out just fine except waiting til 4pm to eat lunch when my blood sugar was tanking. This week I am to do better at timing meals.

whew - yesterday was a BIG challenge because we found a huge problem at work that will keep me scrambling for at least a week and I DID NOT RESORT TO STRESS EATING while dealing with it. That's a first for me. Usually when stuff like that comes up I grab handfuls of whatever and eat while working through the issues. I'm so proud of me.
Now to stick with that for the rest of the time we work on the issue - it's very challenging. I think planning out meals will help, and making sure I eat on time, too. I tend to get busy and either munch whatever or skip eating until I get a headache.
