    1. Stay off sugar
    2. Stay low carb - audios chips/tortillas/potatoes

    1/20 - 146.4
    1/21 - 146.2 - Yesterday was pretty good. Staying right around 1200-1300.
Road trip this afternoon thru Sunday. I'm going to work to stay off sugar, however I do intend to thoroughly enjoy myself at dinner Fri/Sat. I miss eating out..... Other than those 2 meals, I will work to stay on track.
1/25 - 146.2 - Back to logging and reality. It was so so good to get out of NM for a couple of days. Went to some fabulous restaurants in OKC and thoroughly enjoyed being able to eat out again. I did manage to avoid sugar.
1/26 - 148.2 ARRGH!!! I stayed under 1200 yesterday, but did have a breakfast burrito - Momentary weakness. No nightcap. Thought this morning would be great. How does one gain 2 lbs overnight?

@l4a_p - There's gonna be a 'whoosh' at some point. We just have to stay consistent.

I should talk to my GP like @antiopelle is suggesting.
    This is just so weird.
I wake up with my hands all swollen and joints hurting... I’m ttly bloated and uncomfortable. Little constipated which is rare for me.

I looked up the IUD side effects (Liletta) since that’s the ONLY change I made that I can think of. But nothing says swelling...
My father is an OBGYN and asked him about this symptoms. He thinks it’s a bookcase premenopausal case.
He suggested I get some rx. I’ll run that by my GP.
Meanwhile, I turd in my 2 wk notice last Friday so I have 9 more days of work.
    Can’t wait to be done!!!!!!!!

@weatherking2019 - I'm so jealous of you getting to turn in your notice! I keep trying to work on our horse biz while dealing with my office job.... ride enough to be competitive on my barrel horse. Battling burnout. Big fat congrats to you!

    K, this is better.
I did a bit of reading yesterday. I guess I’m going to go back to super low carb/keto.
Need to go through my fridge/pantry and plan ahead.
I can do anything I put my mind to it.
    I know I can.
    I will feel better.

K, I’m going to keep telling myself this😳😆🙏🏼2hh4x2ke5034.png

1/28 - 144.2 - I might just celebrate all day (but not with food). Did quite a bit of grocery shopping yesterday, I'm going to a pretty tight keto diet for a while. My body just seems happier on it. We had jalepano poppers last night for dinner, I fully expected to be 147ish this morning. Had to weigh 2x to believe it.

@weatherking2019 Lots of positive vibes headed your way. She's very fortunate to have you as a mother, there's nothing simple or easy about raising kiddos.

Hi, I'm recently returned to MFP

    5' 7.5''
    SW: 159 (28th December 2020)
    GW: 123

    CW: 149 (30th Jan 2021)

So, January has gone fairly well, I've lost 10lbs, 26lbs left to go. I really would like to lose them by June which gives me 4 months, so around 6lbs a month which seems achievable. My feeling is that I'll continue to drop at a reasonable rate until I hit around 136lbs, then I think its going to get tough. Lets see.... :)

    End January checkin

    5'4", 47yrs
    1/1 - 136lbs
    1/9 - 135.5 lbs
    1/14 - 135 lbs
    1/30 - 133.5 lbs!

I've been intentionally going slowly with my weight loss (.5 lbs per week) as i'm also very much building muscle as I go. I'm so strong! In any event, this last check is a pleasant surprise. Will weighing again tomorrow (ie the true end of January) just to be sure the scale isn't lying!

@weatherking2019 - wow! I’m so impressed. Do you think the loss from 118 is due to keto?

@weatherking2019 , @tracimckinney, @Antiopelle, and everyone, I'm finding this group so inspiring! Bravo for sticking to goals through tough times (injuries, health complications, kids, lockdowns etc). Losing weight and staying fit is hard, even in the best of times...

Goal weight for Jan: 130 lbs
Daily bodyweight workouts for 3 weeks (1/3 to 1/24) then 3 times a week. Yes!
Walk 3 days a week. not quite, only about 1x a week.
Basketball goal going up this week. No.
Going to rake up all the leaves in the yard so we can play croquet. No.

    1/4: 133 lbs
    1/7: 132.6
1/12: 133.2 oops- I've been keeping up with the daily workouts, but not the other stuff since it's been cold outside lately. (That's the excuse I'm using right now, ha!)
1/20: 132.8 - still doing the bodyweight exercises daily and adding dumbbells to the routine 1-2 days a week. I'm also taking a walk with my 12yo daughter after school a couple days a week.
1/29: 132.0 - workouts/walking still going good. After 4 weeks, I'm beginning to see small improvements in my arms and booty!
1/31: 131.6 - not goal, but happy for a loss! Workouts are slowly becoming a habit. Yay!

A little bit above my goal weight, but the overall trend is downwards. Considering the circumstances, I'm pretty happy with it !
It helps that hubbie is in a very good place at the moment: he has run a half marathon last week and a 10 miles yesterday (alone of course - no events here). The weight is melting off him, and he looks and feels happier. I'm so proud of him as he took the Covid cards dealt to us and managed to turned them to a positive for himself.

    Everyone did so well!

I don’t have a final weight for the month because we took the kids on a little trip and there are no scales in the hotel. But I’ve been on track with diet and exercise (typing this while on the treadmill at the hotel gym). My clothes have been fitting well and my husband commented that he noticed I’m getting some definition in my arms from weights. Yay!

    Good luck in February everyone!
