good morning, hurray @jugar, can't wait to see that jeans photo....what a relief you'll feel.
After an overall bad week last week, so far this week is going okay - well, except for nibbling around on that marzipan in the fridge that never made it into a baked good over Xmas - but other than that feeling pretty good and eating okay without logging...Thursday weigh in will tell.

Not having a good week, there is time to turn it around though... just need that one perfect day !6

1800 is the magic number for me too. I have tried 1500, 1200, 1000 and also 2500, but 1800 is the sweet spot for high adherence and good weight loss rate for me3 -
@EvMakesChanges I will check out Sacrowedgy, thank you. I definitely need a new chair as it does nothing to support my shoulders or upper back, but there might be things to tide me over for the 4-6 weeks until I can go shopping. I have wondered whether I'd be better on one of the dining chairs, but I think it'd get too uncomfortable on my bottom!
@Gidgitgoescrazy will one perfect meal do as a starting point?
@jugar I hope the drain is now out!
Today was very busy work wise. I hadn't realised how much I'd been able to relax since we delivered the project at the weekend, and now, after only one day of calm, another project is kicking off (for the same customer). We knew it was coming, but weren't expecting it quite so soon and with the urgency the customer is implying. I found myself stressed and worked up by the end of the day. It has just occurred to me that I'd had a (zero calorie) energy drink - for the mango taste - and maybe that contributed too. I ended up working an extra hour and a half which I thought had come to an end, but I have booked - and will definitely be taking - Friday off.
I've managed to calm down this evening; we went for a walk, then forced ourselves to do DIY. Honestly getting started is the worst part! We have to get changed (I should really get some overalls) and grab the gear from wherever we've left it but once we begin it's fine. We primed the spare room ceiling, then I palmed the washing up onto OH (he cooked) and I caulked the cloakroom. It is such a small space, it's really awkward. Long term I want to convert the garage and move the kitchen across into there, which will leave the old kitchen and the adjoining cloakroom to be a cloakroom & utility. I'm hoping we can find a way to make the cloakroom larger.5 -

I'm drainless! No more vampire's hip flask. The removal went very smoothly, there is some pain and swelling now, but hopefully that will not last too long. The dressings get removed on Thursday, and then I should not have to keep going to the clinic every couple of days, and a shower is in my future. That will feel SO good.
Tomorrow I will be driving up to Québec City with my son for him to check out and hopefully pick up a used car that he wants to buy to replace his old clunker that might (barely) survive for a few more weeks at most. It will be great to have some time with him - usually he works so much I don't get to see him for very long. A car ride is still the best way to have good conversations with him too - that has not changed since he was a little kid, and now he is 24! That will also force me to have a quiet day without too much exercise... even though we are leaving at 6:30 in the morning.
So I'll catch up after I get home tomorrow late afternoon - in the meantime, here are the weigh-ins due for Wednesday:

Good luck!6 -
@PlaneMonkey 1800 calories is a really happy zone for me and it is amazing how the snacking urge has faded when I eat that much. @happimess01 I wish I lost weight on 1800 calories but it will be a great maintenance. Moving forward I will try calorie cycling in April. I'm thinking 10 days at 1800 and 20 days at 1500. I will probably do my 10 days around the TOM because I'm naturally hungrier then.
@PlaneMonkey I have taken a short break from ballet in favor of walking since it's so nice. I'm really wanting to get back to it and will be starting up again soon.
@jugar HOORAY FOR YOUR BOOTY!!! It is about time you poor thing. What a long haul this has been.
@DD265 Sounds like a very busy day for you and stressful. My day ended crazy too. I think the time change finally caught up with the preschoolers. The whole class screamed, cried and threw fits the last 45 minutes of the day. Phew, those busses have never looked so good pulling up in front of the school!
@Terytha Love the hair color 😍 Always fun to try new colors out.

@conleywoods Us tall people are so lucky to get a higher TDEE. At 1800, I still get dizzy sometimes and I also lose a lot of hair but it's still a good number if I mostly eat nutritionally dense food.3

Yesterday was a good day, I was able to stay within calories, I have to work on getting exercise back in, so tonight I will do 10 minutes of spin. I have 10 minutes so that is what I shall do ! Day by Day....

Wednesday Weigh-In
PW: 202.4
CW: 200.2
LTD: 43.8 Lbs
I had to take a photo, I couldn't believe it.
Almost to Onderland! Gotta use this as motivation to stay on track this weekend! There will be lots of painting and furniture assembly going on to move down to the basement office. The wine must not flow freely, at least not until I make it to goal (10.2 Lbs to go!) and even then, MoDeRaTioN will be KEY. This is gonna happen!!!!!9 -
PW 151.2

Happy Wednesday!
@jugar CW: 187.8 any wee shift is a positive thing!
I typed a couple of paragraphs earlier but I don't think it posted. I won't repeat all that I typed earlier, just in case it shows up somewhere. My "shiny-object" distractability sidetracked me into a different space and voila! MFP ate it. Hope it was tasty.
I've gotten some more walking in and will get set up for RBG exercises starting tomorrow. I have to gather my hidden bands and weights so they'll all be ready.
Have a great evening, y'all.3 -
Well, now - wasn't that a mostly green Saint Patrick's Day! Good job, Wednesday people!
I had a fun drive up to Québec with my son today - a boring highway, but good talk and just nice to spend time together. He now has a spiffy little 2014 Veloster and is feeling very cool, but rather more broke than before, of course! I am pleased that he saves up the money before spending it, though. This is a kid who will never end up in terrible money trouble.
I certainly went overboard on "road food" though. I have not eaten anything that was not prepared at home in so long, that I went slightly nuts when picking up late breakfast/early lunch on the way home. WAY too many calories... so tomorrow I will delay breakfast and have that perfect day. It is already planned out and hopefully will go OK. I think I can get back into some exercise tomorrow, too. I'll check with the clinic when I get my last bandage change, but it is feeling pretty good so far.
No one has a weigh in tomorrow, but the Friday people can have an extra great day so that Friday is super good, right? Have a lovely day - hopefully as spring-like as it is supposed to be here.3 -

Hi 👋🏼 I’m still here. But it’s been busy and now it’s late and falling asleep. Have posts to catch up on reading. We have some severe weather coming through tomorrow. 🌪Hopefully all will be well.
Take care everyone.4
