HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Every challenger weighs in on their chosen day, every week without fail! At the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!
We also track those small, steady losses with the Green Week count. If you lose, however small an amount, it counts for 1 week in the green. At the end of the month we celebrate everyone who lost every week. You are heading steadily towards your goal even if you aren't at the top of the weight loss leaderboard!
To make your weigh-in easy to find for your team Captains, please put it right at the top of a message, and use this format:
Username
Weigh In Day:
PW (Previous Weight):
CW (Current Weight):
If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captains here on your team chat page. If you take a break, you are moved to the Support Team. You can remain on the Support Team for as long as you need to. You still participate in the discussions and weigh in if you want to, but your weigh-ins will not be counted on the weekly tally. If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to ask if you are travelling, sick, or just needing some time off.
Once you reach your goal weight, you join the Goal Zone! You need support to maintain, and you can help your teammates join you. You continue to weigh in every week, and if you have 2 weeks above your self-defined goal zone, you go back to the regular team to lose that amount before it builds up. You will have a chance to hone those maintenance skills and stick with your team!
In addition to your own team, there are weekly F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the Announcements section for full group challenges.
Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month and year begin!!

Step Challenge - Not Yet
As for the introduction, here goes:
For those that don't know me, my government name is Andrea. As suggested by my username, I'm a nurse by day. I'm also a travel agent by night. I'm 39, married with a college freshman. Yep, she graduated in the class of 2020. They got to have their ceremony at the Texas Motor Speedway so that's an awesome memory.
As you can imagine 2020 was quite the year for healthcare professionals. While I no longer work in a hospital, we were still swamped at my facility & I'm hoping we can come up for air soon.
Now that travel is coming back, and I KNOW people are ready (cause I'm ready too), people are looking to agents to help with booking & I'm getting the requests.
With all of that my waistline took a hit, so I'm trying to turn that around.
That's what I've been up to. Good to meet you all and I'm ready to get back at it!3 -

Posted steps in the March chat earlier, but dropping here too in case that's easier:
3/21 - 3,193
3/22 - 21,166
3/23 - 19,324
3/24 - 15,650
3/25 - 17,538
3/26 - 17,530
3/27 - 17,290
Planning to continue the step challenge, and boost my target up to 9,000.
Goal for this month is trying to run (gulp) once a week. Will be defining 'run' very loosely - aka expect lots and lots of walk breaks - as it's been years since I've gone running consistently, and I don't want to overdo it and hurt myself. In past weight loss attempts, I always tried to jump right back in to what I was doing at my peak fitness, and then I'd get frustrated/burnt out when, surprise surprise, it didn't go well. Hoping to be patient this time around and accept where I'm at while slowly ramping up.7 -

The Green Challenge Percentage of people who lost weight this week. No matter how small the loss the weights are recorded in green. Remember that even if your team doesn’t rank the highest in weight loss for the week you can still be the Green Percentage winner by having the most losses in your team! So keep it up!!
ROCK STARS!!

Nice loss this week @klassie12 ! I'm a little wary about mine...my knee is tricky, so can't predict the swelling from day to day...yesterday was a VERY active day and I did ok, but had a little soreness last night/trouble sleeping...hoping for an easier day to day and going to force myself to slow down a little. It's so hard, because I really want to push...but I know what will happen if I do.
Hope you have a terrific day!0 -

How has everyone been doing? Im trying hard to focus on my eating, I have been struggling with it, and on top of that, my 2nd job has been very short staffed, so I have been picking up a lot there. on top of that 2 of my kids started soccer, so we have practice 3 nights a week, games every Saturday, and dance every Tuesday, so I have been busy, really busy, so I have slowed some on my workouts. not much, still shooting for 6 days a week, but if I work late, im letting myself skip that workout and sleep another 1.5 hours. Still hunting for a house, there isn't much on the market, so just being patient until something pops up.4
