I finished MARRYING BONNIE last night. Woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I downloaded and read MARRYING EMMA. Just downloaded MARRYING NOEL (I thought women spelled it Noelle). I'll probably start that and hopefully my eyes will get tired and I can try to get a little more sleep (it's currently 5am).

Thanks, Connie! I've run out of Hoopla downloads for this month, but I'll grab one next month.
I didn't like ENIGMA GIRLS by Candace Fleming, just not enough story amidst the informational stuff. I love the story of the gals who worked trying to break Enigma, but not this story.
I started the fifth book in a fantasy series that I've really enjoyed STORM TO VICTORY by Tara Grayce.
I finished UNCHARTED GRACE and started on UNCHARTED PEACE.
I'm working on THE HIDDEN WARRIOR by Connilyn Cossett, having a hard time getting into it.
I haven't gotten back into DON'T BLINK after being so disappointed with the first story. I might just set it aside for another time.
I'm reading HONOR'S REFUGE by Hallee Bridgeman, but I think somehow it jumped to the middle of the story because I have no idea what is going on. It does sound familiar though, so maybe I started it at another time and that's why it started so far in.
FRAGMENTS by J A Webb, another one tough to get into.
THE CARPENTER by ? I don't remember off-hand. It's about a family of Friends (Quakers) who are living in Puritan Salem Village when the Witch Trials begin. The other main character is a Puritan doctor who recognizes the witch craft that is going on. It's interesting, but I know it's going to get ugly and it makes me hesitate to go on!
I have six or so other books that I've downloaded and want to get to! Ugh!

Today I finished THE CHRISTMAS RING by Karen Kingsbury. I really enjoyed it. I really got burned out by all of the Baxter series, but I still tend to put her books on hold when she has something new. This was a nice change. The movie is coming out in early November, too.

I finished MARRYING NOEL and then completed the series by reading MARRYING EMMA. I needed a little change so now I'm reading a romantic suspense story, OUT OF THE ASHES (Danger in Destiny Book 1) by Melanie Snitker. (In case that sounds familiar, she also authored the MARRYING series I just finished.)

Still working on the same stories. I am almost finished with my missionary bio re-read: MARY SLESSOR, QUEEN OF THE CALABAR. In this bio, the author tells us that she often felt lonely and sad. I didn't get that feeling from the Benge's bio.

I finished OUT OF THE ASHES and won't start anything else until later tonight as I'm working this afternoon. I really do need to put down my Kindle and get a little housework done around here… Thanksgiving is right around the corner. 🦃

I just read a couple books by Kendra Warden. I read book 1 in the Forge Brother's series a few months ago. I found #2 on Libby and #3 came up free recently. The books are really good but book 3 deals with some dark subjects (psychedelic drugs, cult, demon possession). It has some light slang, but a true redemption theme. The drugs are part of Clinical Trial that one of the develpers thinks is too soon and that there are chances of problems. She calls in Forge Brothers and then the rest comes into play. I'm going to give it 4.5*, but it is really hard for me to rate. I wanted to give it 5*, but it just felt a little dark for that. I also found that she has a free book when you sign up for her newsletter that is a prequel to this series. I signed up and it will be my next kindle book.
FORGED IN SECRETS #2

Thanks for the info, Connie! I have a couple of her books and will try to get to them soon. I have too many going right now, and some of those I will have to just wait on because it's too hard to get to it all. Sigh.
I am almost finished with my Mary Slessor bio, so good. I'm also almost done with the fantasy, book 5 by Tara Grayce - loved this series and the previous one as well that this spun off of.
I'm still reading the Keely Brooke Keith UNCHARTED series as well. This one, Uncharted Peace, isn't as gripping as some of the others so I read a chapter and then move to another book.

What number is that, do you remember? (UNCHARTED PEACE). I'm trying to remember the last one I read… may have to go back through the thread.
ETA… Looks like I read all 15 and there haven't been any more published.

It looks like it's 13 if you don't count the Beginnings books - but your right, there are just 15 (unless she thinks of another one!)
I finished my fantasy, the last in this spin off. Wonder where she'll go next!?
I finished my Mary Slessor bio too - ach, I cry at these endings!
Now to put some order into the others I'm working on.
Oh, I did purchase The Official Guide to the Uncharted Lands. There's a map in there of the land and where the villages are - that was very helpful. I was hoping there would be an ancestry type chart, but didn't see one. I'm a visual learner and it would help me so much to understand who came from whom - or who is connected to which founder - it's not always clear by the last names.

OUT OF THE ASHES by Melanie Snitker was part of a series, so I downloaded the next one - FROZEN IN JEOPARDY. I'm maybe halfway through that.

I read an older Debbie Macomber book that she did some recent revisions on, and republished. It definitely ended with a Christian theme. I would probably consider it "clean" due to the publisher, but it was on Christian in libby. Who knows. It was more Christian than some Christian fiction books???
LOVE THY NEIGHBORS Debbie Macomber I also finished a new book by Pepper Basham. A dreaded Regency novel, but it was good - typical Pepper Basham with a bit of quirky thrown in.
SENSE AND SUITABILITY Pepper Basham I have been reading Lyn Cote's books through audible. I have been going through a bunch of them. They will show in my monthly reading chart when I post it tonight or tomorrow.

I finished FROZEN IN JEOPARDY and started the next one... can't remember the title; will post it later

I'm almost done with HONOR'S REFUGE by Hallee Bridgeman. I didn't like this one as much as the first two.
Still working on UNCHARTED PEACE.
Struggling to stay involved in THE CARPENTER by (I believe) Pegg Thomas. It's the one about the Puritan's and Quakers in Salem during the witch trials.
I'm still working on THE HIDDEN WARRIOR a prequel to a Connilyn Cossette biblical series.
THE FIRST BETRAYAL by Patti Pierucci (new author to me). This is more a medieval story.
Barely started DEATH IN A CLASSROOM by C M Rawlins, a 1920's mystery.

I really haven't read much today. I had some things going on that I needed my full brain for, so couldn't put the book on to play, or read. This evening I will get to the Irene Hannon book and I started an Elle E Kay suspense today before I left the house to listen to in the car.

I have about five books going right now, way too many!
I finished two books last night I wasn't sure that I would get to, so they will go on next months list.
I finished the prequel to the Connilyn Cossett series about David's mighty men. I borrowed the first book in the series from Hoopla and will listen to that tonight. I also borrowed a missionary bio as well, but I can only remember the missionary's first initial and last name - S Singe.
I am working on the medieval prequel, but not sure I will go on with the series, it is okay, but not great.
I started UNCHARTED MERCY. I read just a couple of pages last night.
I did read more in THE CARPENTER and it is getting more interesting.

I am so excited. I used to read Liz Isaacson's books as they were released, but had quit reading them when I stopped KU. I noticed that a bunch of the ones I hadn't read are now in audio on hoopla.
I am reading: THE COWBOY WHO LOOKED AGAIN.

Okay, that book, the title of which I couldn't remember, was CAUGHT IN THE CROSSHAIRS (still Melanie Snitker). I just finished that and downloaded the next one - RUNNING FROM THE PAST. I read the first 2 chapters in the sneak peek section of the previous book and will pick it back up on the plane tomorrow. I'm off to Miami in the afternoon.

I hope you have a safe trip, Cindy! Enjoy the warmer temps!
I'm reading the 1st book in the Connilyn Cossett series: VOICE OF THE ANCIENT. The Israelites are getting ready to battle against the Ammonites and all four cousins are together, even the 14 year old who never wants to be left behind. He is super smart with languages and able to imitate dialects perfectly.
I'm listening to a missionary bio about Sundar Singh, very good. He is from India and called by God to witness to his people. He has chosen to basically do it as the wise men of India do it and go with only the clothes on his back and a blanket, trusting to be provided for.
CAPTIVE DRAGON by Elisa Rae. Her fantasies often have a good Christian message.
DEATH IN A CLASSROOM by CM Rawlins. It's really hard to read because the sentences just come one right after the other with no break to know who is speaking. It's weird.
FIRST BETRAYAL Prequel which I am not that into so will quit with this one. It isn't fantasy, but I just can't get into it.
UNCHARTED MERCY by Keely Brooke Keith. Book 14.
UPROOTED by Kandi Wyatt, a mild fantasy which I am enjoying quite a bit.
I gave up on DON'T BLINK for now.

I am reading the newest in the Timeless series. I have listened quite a bit today, but turned it off for the evening. I want something lighter that I don't have to use my brain for before bed.
THROUGH EACH TOMORROW Gabrielle Meyer
I have been working through the Mistletoe Falls Christmas Romance series by Tara Baisden. I had never read any of her books and the first was a pretty good light Christmas romance. Audible plus has a bunch of her audiobooks.
WHISK ME UNDER THE MISTLETOE #1 -finished
ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS # 2 - Current

Wow, Hoopla had the e-book for Through Each Tomorrow, so I'll be reading that one starting tonight. I hadn't read the one before this one with the Jack the Ripper theme and I don't think it's one that I would like anyway! So happy this one is available though. She has another one coming out with a slightly different cover that is on my wish list - INTO A GOLDEN ERA.
I ended up dumping three of the books I was reading because I ran into a cuss word in each one - two of them having a similar phrase. In our world today it probably wouldn't be considered cussing, but for me it is. The other one had a mild cuss word, but still a cuss word. I'm enjoying my missionary bio on ROWLAND BINGHAM. He was one of three men who began Sudan Inland Mission. He spent more time on the "production" side of the mission rather than in country because when he did go in country he contracted malaria and became very sick. He eventually took the mission to India as well and I'm pretty sure the name changed when they merged with another mission group. When other said it couldn't be done he wouldn't give up!
I'm almost done with VOICE OF THE ANCIENT by Connilyn Cossett, it's very good.
I'm looking forward to starting one called ALLIANCE BRIDE by J L Knight.
I also still have the UNCHARTED book on the table but can't seem to find the desire to get back into it.

I will finish FOR EACH TOMORROW this evening. It is very good. I finished the Tara Baisden book as well. It was a nice, light Christmas Romance. I will go back to her books soon, but a bunch of library stuff has become available, so need to get started on them pretty soon.

I finished VOICE OF THE ANCIENT, very good. Hoopla has the second book in this series, but I want to get some others done before I go to that one.
I didn't start the one I thought I would, just tried to get farther into some others. I did start FOR EACH TOMORROW though - not sure I get it yet, but it's good so far.
I finished ROWLAND BINGHAM and downloaded a book called GUINEA PIG FOR BREAKFAST, a modern missionary doctor's story about her work in Ecuador.
I read some more in THE CARPENTER. I'm a little more than half-way through with that one.

I read POINTED SUSPICION by Chautona Havig. It took place everywhere and I had a hard time keeping up with it. It is the latest in the Agency Files collection.
Current: PROWL by Colleen Coble. I have been waiting for this one and thought I would be using an audible credit for it, but it came up on Hoopla. There were two books that I have been keeping in my Audible wishlist, and they both came up in hoopla this week. Now I am going to have to find another one that I really want.

Oh got a couple of good ones!
PROWL by Colleen Coble was as good as expected. I really liked the first in the series a few months ago (AMBUSH).
Just finished Susan Sleeman's latest book LOST CAUSE - it was definitly a 5* read.
Currently reading Kimberley Woodhouse's newest A SONG IN THE DARK. Sooo good. About a blind professional pianist in during WW2.I also read LOST HOPE by Edie James. It was pretty good, but did have at least one instance of slang. I will go ahead and finish the series, but will wait until after I have gotten through some library books.

Still on A SONG IN THE DARK. It is really good. This is something that Carole would probably enjoy with the pianist.

I'm enjoying my missionary story, it's more of a modern one - KLAUS DIETER JOHN, MD missionary.
I started an ARC read from Linore Burkard which goes along with the last three by her. So far it is much better than the third one (at least for me).
Loving ALLIANCE BRIDE by J L Knight.
Having trouble getting into the Gabrielle Meyer one, but it is getting more interesting.
I started the second book in the Connilyn Cossett story about the warriors of Saul. So far it is good as well.

I have really had some great reads this month.
A SONG IN THE DARK by Kimberley Woodhouse was definitely 5+ stars
And these have all been 5 starsOUT OF TIME Irene Hannon THROUGH EACH TOMORROW Gabrielle Meyer PROWL Colleen Coble LOST CAUSE Susan Sleeman THE CHRISTMAS BOOK FLOOD Roseanna M White That's a LOT of 5* reads for me, considering that we aren't even half way through the month.
THE CHRISTMAS BOOK FLOOD was something different for me. It was set in WW2 Iceland, which really didn't have any part in the war, but had a hard time getting goods. They did have US Air bases there. It is partially about a book publishing company there.
