**Read through the thread, I like how when you get on it starts where I ended, that is helpful.
**I worked as a CNA today on the unit, so a bit tired (took a nap after work, I'm not a napper usually). My regular job is a Recreation Assistant at the Idaho State Veteran's Home, working with America's Hero's of WWII, Korea, Vietnam and other.
**I tend to do well at everything, but the reducing calories in part. And I have been stuck at around 190 lbs. since January 2020. WE CAN DO THIS, TBBT ALL THE WAY. :) (I miss all the emojis on Spark People).

@kristiekay1962 Your job sounds very rewarding! After an 18,000 step work day, I'd be taking a nap, too! Well done on the weigh-in. You are down 1.6 from your starting weight!!

Day #2 of blowing it! I can say the right things, but apparently I have trouble doing them! All I can do about it is to try again today!

That wedding sounded beautiful! My dream is to get married in the fall. It just sounds like my kind of heaven lol

Personally, my favorite way to drink pumpkin spice is in coffee as Iโ€™m not a big fan of lattes. Any coffee place like Dunkin or Tim Hortons or Starbucks all have it. But since I donโ€™t like paying so much money on their coffees, I usually go to the grocery store and pick up pumpkin spice creamer, it gives me the same feels. Lately Iโ€™ve been loving the silk almond milk pumpkin spice. Itโ€™s soo good๐Ÿ˜

@rawrxamberx Silk almond milk comes in PUMPKIN?!?! Why wasn't I notified?? LOL I'm with you on the price of coffee at those places, which is why you'll never catch me in a Starbucks (don't tell anyone though because my son lives in Seattle and that's almost blasphemous LOL). When we travel through PA and stop at the rest stops I walk right by the very long Starbucks line to the gas station quickee mart and get my coffee for less than $2. :)

I do however go to a coffee shop (local, not big chain) on Saturdays when I'm out doing errands with my husband. I consider it Small Business Saturday and try to help out one of the local shops.

    BTW...great weigh-in!!

    Hey team need advice
Feeling really hungry today feel like I need a binge but of course I won't but I'm just wanting loads of junk it's only been a week since my last treat day lol what do you all do to stop the urge of feeling like binging
My treat day is the end of the month seems so far away xx

So....as some of you know, I'm more of a mountain biking/kayaking/hiking girl. The dancey-dancey stuff just isn't my jam, yo. But as the days get shorter here in PA and I know that I won't have time to go out in the daylight hours to ride, I need to figure out something.

So I tried something different today. A 32 minute belly dancing routine. It was...awkward. Weird. Clumsy. Did I mention awkward? But it also (surprisingly) got my HR up. Indoors. And only took 30 minutes. I could do these during my lunch breaks. I still HATE the dancey-dancey stuff, but it was good to know that it wasn't intolerable, but rather just not overly fun/enjoyable. It's something. I'm going to try a cardio drumming one this afternoon too, before I have to go pick up the kids from the school bus. My teaching year doesn't start until next week, and I'd ride, but Ida has us locked down.

@ashleymullo6195 Hey, Ashley. If you are really hungry, you need to eat. You don't need to binge, but you do need something satisfying, even if it puts you over into maintenance range.
It is better than blowing it with a binge! Everyone is different, but options with protein, fat or fibre are the usual suspects for satiety. How long have you been eating at 1,200 calories? And do you feel fairly satisfied most days or are you getting hungrier and hungrier each day? I would say to fit a small treat into your calories on a daily basis, but with such a low calorie budget, that may be easier said than done. Unless you redefine what a "treat" is! And make sure you are drinking enough water to keep the edge off of your hunger. It won't help if you are already really hungry, but throughout the day it can be enough to keep the really hungry at bay.

@CycleMomOf3 That's great that you discovered something you can keep in your back pocket for those "I've only got 30 minutes to work out" days! Keep inspiring us (me!) with all of your different types of workout ideas. I need to catch fire one of these days!! Sorry about Ida coming into town...hopefully she leaves quickly and with little damage in her wake!

Ive been on 1,200 since May 23rd 2021
Since I give birth I was on 1.500cal when pregnant then I calculated it all again when I give birth and it give me 1.200 as I wasn't loosing much on 1.500, I lost 2 stone of doing 1.200 cal in 2019 I struggled a tiny bit but not that much, ever since I give birth recently its just getting harder to get into the routine I've lost 7 pounds since starting May just gone again so I'm happy I need to keep going though, it got to the point we're I was looking at myself in the mirror nearly crying because of the fat rolls and my bad habits with eating so ill never give up doing this and getting to where I want to be but I need to stop binge eating, thankyou for the advice ill drink more water I've let myself go over by 172 cal today not too bad I suppose hopefully I've lost on this week 1

Need to drink more water thatโ€™s what I need to do! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ I am getting back into orange juice also, and energy fizz sticks, any thoughts on these? My daughter had given me a box of them which I have so far only used 2 sachets ๐Ÿ˜Š The taste replaces that of a fizzy drink if you like your can of coke now and then๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

@atareid14 I have a box of energy fizz sticks in the cupboard; they are the Arbonne brand. Because they have caffeine in them, I like them for replacing an afternoon coffee when it is too hot to have a hot drink!

@StarfishK A great first day, Kim! You didn't happen to weigh yourself this morning, did you? Because technically today, for you, is your week #1 weigh-in. If you didn't weigh yourself today, then you can always weigh-in tomorrow. Or, seeing as you were not "starting" until today, we can just use your registration weight as your weigh-in for today (basically just rolling it over for this week). Let me know what you want to do.
