Good Morning All
Barb, so glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Happy Amy arrived safely but sorry she has a lot of jet lag, not easy and it takes time to get over. It’s so special for Amy to go with her daughter for the last ultrasound before baby’s arrival. My prayers are with you all as you anticipate the soon arrival.
Linda, hope you had a good Physio appointment and you find that all the stairs you went up and down help make your hip stronger, that would be nice. So happy you had a lovely Thanksgiving at your son’s home. Always good to be with family. Commenting on our schedules not always working around holidays to be with family and friends; My friends and I had a lovely time and exchanged gifts with each other. My one friend we also celebrated her 80th Birthday, a lovely time. It did tire me out that’s why I didn’t make it back here until today.
Susan, I could sense your excitement as you prepared for your Christmas Concert that you all were doing last night. Great you preserved your strength by resting. Hope your concert went well, I can hardly wait to hear all about your concert. I love your Special card you made and shared here for us all; such a beautiful card, Thank you Susan for sharing.
It’s 1:40am so this gal is heading to bed. I am posting the new Team Challenges (Goals) for December later this morning. Please watch for the post.
Thank you! Good Night Everyone, 😴0 -
Good Sunday morning. We're needing to leave for church soon so I will just say the concert went well. We had 200+ people in the audience. They were slow to warm up but eventually sang with us and laughed at our jokes. It bucketed down rain just as we were leaving and it was a process getting everyone back to their houses in a dry state. Colin forgot our umbrella so got soaked going to get our car but was able to keep me, my props and music and ukulele dry by picking me up from the covered entry at the Clubhouse. He jumped in a warm shower a few minutes later at home. The rain was cold!
I've caught up with reading your posts and hopefully will be back later....1 -
We made it to Andover Wichita for grandsons bday. My kids had a surprise bday party for me. So I had a party at noon a lunch party then at 2 was Grayson’s party. What a surprise. All 4 of our kids here.
Linda where in Kansas will your daughter be? I live in Kansas.
So glad ba k I’m Grand Junction
I’ll try to send some pictures. Of Grayson and me & kids here.
Have a great weekend.
Susan how did your program go? Prayers
Yes, Amy is here & adjusting to our time.

We decorated the Westminster house for Christmas on Thanksgiving and today we decorated our Grand Junction house. We have small trees at each house so they are pretty easy to set up and decorate. Since we will not be here at Christmas, we will not do a lot here but since we are having a Christmas party here on Tuesday, I figured it would be nice to be a little festive.
Barb - I pray that Amy will get acclimated to the time change quickly. Jet lag is so hard for me when traveling. I want to sleep during the day when things are happening and I am wide awake when everyone else is sleeping for a little while. Have a safe trip to celebrate birthdays. It sounds like a quick trip for you again.
Susan - Even during the summer time, Glenn still does not wear shorts. He says he does not want to blind anyone looking at his white legs. I am the same way. I do not tan so my legs look like snow. I also have to wear support hoes so that looks a bit weird when wearing shorts. I do sometimes wear pants that are to the knee if I am around the house and it is really hot.
Susan - I assume that your Christmas concert went well. If everyone was as talented as you are, it was fantastic!!
Judith - I hope things went well with your friends get together and you were able to rest after they left. How long has the mail strike gone on? How do you pay your bills? Are you doing them all over the internet? Some of our bills do not not have that option but maybe all of yours do.1 -
Evening Hello all,
As you saw I had already posted today but early morning so will make this one a little shorter as my post above Susan’s was quite lengthy.
Barb, I failed to send my Birthday Greetings in my morning’s post. So here is is now:
Happy Happy and Blessed Birthday Barb 🥳🎂🎉🎁 Hope your day was blessed as you gathered with Family and Friends to Celebrate your special day!
Please wish Grayson a Happy Happy Birthday! 🥳🎂 Hope he enjoyed celebrating with his friends and family.
Glad Amy arrived safely and is adjusting to the new Time Change. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Linda, you asked about the Postal strike here. Good thing I have my bills automatically paid with online banking. House payments and everything I do is via online banking. All my pensions are deposited into my Bank account so it makes it so easy. Nothing like that comes in the mail. The sad thing is I can’t send out cards to people’s homes and can’t send Christmas cards out this year to my family. I had a lovely get together with my friends last night. We had such an awesome time sharing and exchanging our gifts with each other. So glad you got both houses decorated. I am sure they both look lovely.
Susan, so awesome to hear you had a wonderful Christmas Concert. Having 200 in attendance was so nice for all of you. So glad they warmed up and began to sing with you all and laugh at the jokes shared. You said it began to rain buckets as you left the Clibhouse. So sorry Colin forgot his umbrella and got soaked through as he went for the car; such a Gentleman bringing the car to the covered entrance so you my friend and your Ukulele, Props and Music all stayed dry. I am sure Colin shivered all the way home sitting in wet cold clothes. So glad he had a nice warm shower to get warmed up. It’s your Sunday there so will say Sunday Blessings and God Bless.
Have a blessed nights sleep and have a Blessed Sunday. Take care and God Bless you all! 🙏😇0 -
Barb - My daughter will be with her in-laws in Hutchinson, Kansas. Their family is so big they have to divide into smaller groups so they will have at least 3 Christmas parties. That makes for a lot of presents to buy as well as to receive. It is very common for them to get duplicates. I just talked to her yesterday and the grandma on the other side also bought what we got our grandson so I will be returning it and buying him something else. She is helping with the return process which is very helpful for me. I also wish you a Happy birthday! 🎈🎂 (virtual cake in case you are gluten free). Was your birthday the same day as our grandson? Great pictures of the celebration.
Susan - I am glad that your concert was a success! 200+ people sounds like a lot! Were they all from your housing area? I am glad that your and your instrument/music were kept dry. Colin was a gentleman as Judith said to get wet to help you.
Judith - I am so glad that you were able to celebrate with friends and exchange gifts. We will be having our Christmas party on Tuesday for our Bible study group. We will exchange white elephant presents. As we are decluttering, I am finding things I can do without so that is what I will have in my package. It is a miscellaneous grouping of a pumpkin scented candle, notebook shaped like a cat, Christmas CDs and a decorative Fall container. I also have a puzzle that I am going to wrap up in case someone forgets to bring a gift or they think my first present is odd and they want another thing to choose from.
Today we had church at our house with our small group. We had 9 in attendance so it was a small group because a lot of people were traveling. We had a continental breakfast which was a success. I brought bagels, croissants, fresh fruit and cream cheese and jam. Others brought juice, biscuits, lemon flavored honey (it was delicious), jams and things I have forgotten. Glenn talked about I John 3 and the characteristics of Satan but also the Christmas story in Revelation of how Satan tried to kill the baby (symbolically Jesus and his people) but he was thwarted by God who protects his people. God continues to protect us if we stay close to him. Satan will not win this battle!1 -
Amen, Linda. Satan will not win! We're all in a spiritual battle every day though. Hold the line and keep the faith. God is on our side! It sounds like you have had a wonderful time with family and friends these past few days. It's lovely to see. About the concert. Yes, nearly everyone who attended the concert was from our 500 strong Village or their grandchildren. I was more concerned about soaking my Ukelele than me. It's not a cheap one. Lol!
I have a picture of the Starlight Entertainers for you. I am in the back row, far left. You'll see the men in shorts which is extremely common here. It's practically summer all year round so shorts are the norm for men and women. Back in the 1960s and 1970s, they would also wear knee socks and sandals with shorts. It looked so funny to us coming from the States. Now it's more common to not wear socks though some still wear ankle socks. I wore ling pants that day but I have lots of knee length shorts for everyday. This is our festive Christmas look, too:
Judith, so sorry to hearcabout the postal strike. It's good your bills are taken care if but how sad not to be able to send your cards out. I hope it gets resolved soon. Yes, we had a blessed Sunday and hope you are having a blessed Sunday today. I have Uke practice in an hour as it is Monday here.
Barb, how wonderful to get to celebrate your special birthday and Grayson's too! Happy birthday to you both. Thank you for the photos.
1 -
Susan, love the picture of the Starlight Entertainers, very nice picture of you all. Yes the Postal strike has been dragging on for weeks, no one is willing to step away. I wish the government would step in and get it resolved. I feel sorry for the elderly and those who are shut in and who will not receive any mail. A lot of their families live to far away to come and visit. Glad you had a Blessed Sunday. We did too, it also is our First Advent Sunday, I posted pictures on FaceBook of my Wreath and candle lit and posted todays Advent Devotion.
Barb glad you had a wonderful Birhday celebration with your grandson. It’s not that far away that your daughter in law with be giving birth. Exciting times for you and Harry as you wait on another Precious arrival. How’s your weather? Been thinking of your Cactus Plants and thinking I would like to have one as beautiful as yours. I have a Christmas Cactus starter, it’s growing bigger but it sure has a long ways to go.
Linda, you speaking about the white elephant presents reminded me of all the Christmas parties our Woman’s Group had and the many gifts we exchanged with each other. I still have a tall Christmas Mug with a penguin with a festive scarf on. It’s my favorite mug for Hot Chocolate. My 2 friends and I had a great Christmas celebration and celebrated my friends 80th Birthday. Next Saturday my friend Fay leaves for New Zealand 🇳🇿 and will be there until end of January. So it was extra special having an early Christmas and Birthday party. Hope your Group has a great Christmas party on Tuesday. Your Sunday Home Church sounded so nice and your Brunch sounded so tasty, I agree a success. The message Glen brought from 1 John 3 I join Susan with a hearty Amen. Yes as we stay close to Jesus the enemy can’t touch us. We are safe in Jesus.
Have a Blessed week ahead! Good Night & God Bless! 😴🙏😇💕0 -
It is a quiet day here today. It is nice after all the things we had to do on the weekend. The biggest thing I had to do today was make an appointment for a mammogram and dexa scan for bone density. So far I am OK in both of these areas and I hope I stay that way.
Susan - thanks for the picture. You all look so festive. I agree knee socks and shorts do look a little strange. We had some of our residents in independent living in the facility where I worked that would were them. One man had an artificial leg and wore them so only the bright metal knee joint was showing when I walked.
Judith - I do hope the mail strike gets over soon. I would hate to imagine how much mail would get backed up to be delivered on one day. When we to back to Westminster, our daughter keeps all our mail in a sack for us. It takes quite a while to go through all the stuff even if it is just advertisements.
Barb - I hope you got back safely from your weekend trip for birthdays. Now the next big thing is the new baby. How many grandchildren do you have?1 -
Good morning. We have a busy day today - Colin has a hearing test and is taking g Jasper to the Vet's as he is bothered by his bottom again. I have made cupcakes and muffins and green salad and table favours for the ladues' church luncheon. I have a Zoom call before that. Then my sis and bro-in-law are visiting in their Motorhome this afternoon/evening. They had driven down to meet their new granddaughter. Now they are visiting with us.
Linda, it's hard to show you how all the men used to dress but I will keep an eye out for a picture from the old days. They even used to have dress shorts, white short sleeved shirts, ties and knee socks with closed shoes for work. Those were in the days before most offices were air conditioned. The man with the artificial leg would have been notable!
Judith, I agree. The Postal strike would be a major nuisance. Cruel at Christmas too. We have a major grocery chain striking here. Indefinitely. The shelves are bare of food! There are a lot of other grocery stores not striking so we are fine, but it is disruptive, as it is meant to be. Yes, I treasure gifts from church friends too. ❤️ Here are the table gifts I made for today:
Must dash - waving at Barb, Marilyn, JC and Sandi!
1 -
Linda, glad you are having a quiet day after such a busy time, it’s always good to sit back and regroup and be refreshed. Yes the mail strike will generate heaps of mail. You mentioned how your daughter saves your mail in a sack for you while you are away. For me, it would take several sacks as I get monthly Devotional magazines that hold the daily devotions for the month and articles written to teach and encourage and then I have Christian ministries I support I get mail from that of course is not coming. I sure miss these ministry materials.
Susan, so sorry to hear Jasper is having trouble with his bottom, poor Jasper, hope the Vet can help and give him some pain management to lessen the pain and soreness. Hope the Zoom meeting goes well. Besides that you sure have been busy preparing for the Ladies Luncheon. I am sure they will love the cupcakes muffins and salad you made. Love the table gifts you made for the Ladies and the nice card you included. The Shiny Gift Wrapper with the Label that has written Cherry Ripe is that a Candy Bar inside? Such a Thoughtful Gift you made for the Ladies. Hope you enjoy the visit with your Sister and Brother-in-law who are stopping over after
meeting their new Granddaughter.
Sending my Love to Marilyn, Sandi, JC and Barb.
Have a wonderful day and evening all. As you can see I am here early but I had some time and didn’t have a rest so taking advantage of the time.
Take care, Love & Prayers, Hugs too! ❤️🙏🤗0 -
Wow I miss a day & lots of posts. So sorry if I don’t comment on them all. Love the picture Susan. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, it was nice having an early bday celebration & I was surprised. All4 of our kids were there. HH wasn’t there as mom needed to adjust & she can’t or shouldn’t travel I. Her condition.
My son’s gift came to the house, so I will open it on my actual day is Saturday so I born on Pearl Harbor day.
Hutchinson, is where my father in law was born & grew up there.
Tomorrow is our one & only December Bible study. We will have a brunch. I made an impossible bacon & veggie quiche. I’ll bake it in the morning. So we both have a Bible study tomorrow Judith.
Our core SS will have a white elephant exchange in early January. Good way to get rid of things you don’t need. Once someone actually had a white elephant. It was cool.
We came home to, snow, so I had a bit of shoveling last night & I shoveled our deck today.
I made some Christmas crack today & hope to make some more.
I started working on some Christmas cards & got 2 of my sister’s gifts in the mail. I hope to get one more in the mail today. I had to wait as I needed my niece, her daughter’s, work USA address so,I could mail it to my sister’s gifts as Canada post is on strike. The USA post office lady didn’t know it but later today it’s been on the news. Canada has been on strike for 2 weeks too.
Our tree may come up on Saturday or next week. I like to have my bday before I put our tree up. After all, how many of you have your trees up on your bdays?
Loved all the pics.
Last ultrasound was today & all a looks good. They believe the baby may weigh 6 lbs. she is coming 35 plus a few days. Amy has adjusted to time & also went to the ultrasound too.
Sorry for the not writing. Busy.
.
Thank you all for the prayers.
10 AM is the c section on Friday 12/6.

We had our last ladies Bible study it was a brunch & very nice.
Today was very cold so we still have snow. The streets have been clear but not sidewalks. Oh well I enjoy walking a lot so I wear some boots.
Tomorrow I will watch Evan & it will be 50*. So we will be able to walk or play outside. Or so.
I got all my Christmas packages for my sisters in the mail, and after I get some more treats made I’ll get a package off for my mom.
I got more bread to make plus cookies. I made one batch of Christmas crack & need to make at least one more if not 2.
I got most of our Christmas cards addressed too.
Trust all are well, with everyone. Have a great day.
Susan. How is Jasper & hope you had fun with family.
Linda. I have 7 soon to be 8 grand children. Then another one in April to make it 9. Jean, Bale & Evan’s mom is pregnant too.
Judith prayers for you. Plus strike with mail to get over. Asap.
Prayers for all.1 -
Hello everyone. It's a little cooler today which is a welcome relief. Jasper is feeling better too. He has some cream to help with his bottom. And Colin has a new hearing aid which is so much better than his old one. It's adjustable for his environment. Woo hoo! Maybe he will wear it regularly. I hope so.
Our visit with my sis and bro-in-law went well. Sis and I stuck away to a clothing store and had fun trying on and buying clothes. The men visited together while we were gone. Then we had dinner together.
Yesterday's ladies' was lovely. We all had a good time singing hymns, playing games, having a devotional and of course having lunch.
I made a little video showing how to make those treat boxes on my PaperCraftCentral Facebook page today. Yes, Judith, the Cherry Ripe is a dark chocolate bar with Cherry and coconut inside. That one in the picture was a bite sized one but they come in lots of sizes.

I had the zoom Bible study group this morning then got together with friends at a coffee shop then had our Bible study group's Christmas party; We had white elephant gifts and some were really funny. Glenn got a Santa and Mrs. Santa stuffed set. He really tried to talk someone into "stealing" it but no one did. I grew up thinking Santa was evil because parents lied to their children that he brought toys. My mom was very severe on people who told lies. I do not have the strong feelings against Santa now but I still feel strange having him in my house. I ended up with four pair of men's crew socks that are really brightly colored with stripes and polka dots. It is not something my conservative husband would wear so we will take them back to Denver to see if our S-I-L will want them.
Susan - I am glad Jasper is feeling better. It is so hard when our pets do not understand why things hurt. It sounds like you had a good time with your sister trying on and buying clothes. I am glad your luncheon was good.
Barb - You have a lot more grandchildren than I have. I have three girls (4-10-17) and two boys (12-16). My children are older than yours and do not have any desire to be pregnant again.
Judith - hope you are having a good day.
Hi to JC, Marilyn, Sandie, Faithgrl4 and Lori.0 -
Good Evening All
Great to read all the posts from everyone. Thank you for sharing.
Barb, so glad you got your cards mailed out and gifts to your sister via your Niece USA address. Yes 2 weeks is long for our Postal Strike with no mail coming in or going out! Exciting to hear Ultrasound is looking good and baby weight approximately 6 pounds. Good weight! And please no need to apologize for not being here and having to catch up. Being with family is important. Good point to make that you waited till after your Birthday to put up tree. You are right not many of us would have a tree up; however my 2nd Granddaughter, Emelia (correct spelling) Son and DIL spelled her name like that, she was born Christmas Day “Night” my DIL was in labor all of Christmas Day! So yes we had Tree up but we picked a date in November for her to have her own day to have a Birthday Party with all her friends. Christmas Day family had Christmas Cake and a Birthday cake that I made and decorated. So from Family she got Birthday gifts and Christmas gifts from all of us. Hope you got all your baking done.
Linda, I hear you about Santa, but I did chuckle heating about you getting not 1 but 2 Santa things, I had the feeling you would not like having in house. And a lot of my family on my Grandfathers side thought & did the same. No mention of even the name.
Our Family Mom Dad Aunts Uncles Cousins as Christians the Focus was on Jesus, Celebrating the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus is the Reason for the Season! Always Nativity Sets in our homes. And yes we loved to give gifts. I have taken after my Mother and Father who did that. I grew up in the Church but at 17 when married sadly I fell away from the Lord. Thankfully it was few years later the witness of my MIL’s Family Bible that was given as Wedding gift and sending my kids on Church bus I came back to Jesus and all the prayers of Family especially my great Grandmother who never stopped praying for her family all to come back to Jesus and we all did. Praise God! All those socks with stripes and other designs, hope your SIL will take some, you gave me a chuckle 🤭 with telling all about receiving, so will you try to pass off Mr and Mrs Santa Claus and Socks to others or family?
Susan, so glad Jasper is feeling better and Colin got some great Hearing Aides! So happy for him. So glad your visit with your Sis and BIL was nice and the trip to the clothing store with your Sis sounded fun trying on clothes and buying some. Glad you were able to spend the time together and have a nice dinner before they left for home.
Great you had a lovely time with the Ladies group luncheon. The treat boxes were such a great idea, those bars sound so yummy 😋 I’m sure they enjoyed them. Thank you for posting a Video of making the Treat Boxes on FaceBook. I will check it out on weekend as I have 2 heavy duty appointments coming up, Thursday and Friday.
It’s now 12:35am; I had my post started and then came back to edit it and now I see after Midnight Wednesday Morning.
God Bless you all! 🙏🤗😇
Waving Hi 👋 to Marilyn, Sandi, JC, Faithgrl4 and Lori0 -
Just popping on to show you how respectable, white collar men used to dress in the 1960s in Australia!! It really is hot in Australia and there was very little air conditioned space for workers.
0 -
I hope the picture I posted yesterday made you girls laugh. I entered the work force in the 1970s and men here were still dressing like that. It took some getting used to! Now they have lighter fabrics and tend to wear long slacks snd dress shirts at work. But you can see from my concert photo that casual dress is still much like it was in the 60s and 70s.
Yesterday's play practice went well. The play is starting to shape up.
Today I have a Zoom call then am running a card class, the last one for 2024. We have YouTube church this evening.
I hope everyone is doing well.2 -
Judith - yes I will try to get rid of some of my "gifts" from the party with other family members. I am praying for your heavy duty appointments in the next two days. I am glad that you were able to come back to the Lord in your twenties. You are such a testimony to so many people of true faith in God and his wisdom.
Susan - Yea that Jasper is feeling better. Yes, I had a good laugh looking at the picture of how men dressed in the 1900's. The price of the clothing was also interesting. Are you and Colin having great conversations since his has a new hearing aid. My Dad used to take his hearing aids out when he was tired of listening to people talk. My mother was much more sociable than he was.
It is getting dark outside but Glenn is still out raking leaves. Our lawn care people took away the leaves that were in the yard in November but we still have a few trees that are still dropping their leaves. We want to get these leaves out to the street so the city will pick them up next week. I finally finished the audit on the student files. Now I have to do the follow up on the things I found missing. Some may be in the hard copies at our Westminster house so they will have to wait until next week for me to check the files.
1 -
I was making a comment & the whole thing disappeared this seems to happen to me not sure why.
Susan hope your last card meeting on zoom went well today’s so glad that Colin got new hearing aides. That is so important to be able to hear. .
Linda when Glen is done raking he can come here & help us. Ha ha. I hope to rake some this weekend if the temps are right with what they are predicting. The town is to come in another 16-21 I believe are the dates.
Hope you found all the items that you’re looking for.
I enjoyed the pics too I was working as a teen I the 70’s as I graduated from high school in 73. Then 76 from Moody.
Judith I do hope that the postal strike ends soon are they talking or not? My sister has mentioned the talks have stopped.
If you see the Drs prayers for you Judith Wisdom for drs too.
Today was warmer so Evan & I got 2 walks. He also, loves to laugh. We did lot of laughing.
It was a fun day
I will spreading the baking out I hope to do, some more tomorrow or Friday. Next week make some more homemade bread. Though I may try to make some so fruit cake this Friday
Tomorrow the winds will be from the north so much colder. I got some errands to run too then craft day on Friday morning.
Sleep well all1 -
Meant to include a picture of Evan in his car. This was one of our walks.
We had a fun day.1 -
You made me Lol Susan, yes I remember, too funny!
Barb praying for HK for delivery coming up. For safe delivery and healthy baby.
Thank you Linda for your prayers Thursday and Friday! Glad you are planning to give away some of your white elephant gifts. Let me know how it goes!
My post short and sweet as heading to bed. Early morning’ Good night all 😴🛌🙏🤗1 -
Barb - Glenn's arms were aching when he came in after raking the leaves so it he could help (which he can not), it would be a little time before he is wanting to do it again. Our lawn people came today to do the leaves but did not stay since we had already done them. We thought that they were done by the end of November for the season so were not expecting them. We did same some money by them not having to do it. the picture of Evan in his care was so cute! The city of Grand Junction will be picking them up from the curb next Tuesday.
Judith - thinking about your and your appointments today and also that the postal strike will end soon. We are mailing out gift cards for the volunteers that work for our school today. We still need to write our Christmas letter. I noticed we are almost out of stamps too so I need to put that on my to-do list to buy more.
Susan - thinking about you and your busy schedule. I am praying for energy for you to complete everything that you need to do.
When I went to therapy this morning, it was cold enough that I had to scrape frost off the windshield of my car. The sun had not gotten to it yet to melt it. They said I am doing well but I still need to make my gait wider and not turn my pelvis when I walk. My thigh muscles feel like they have had a really big workout after my session. I also have homework to do for the next time.1 -
Linda, those exercises sound like they might be painful. I hope you will be OK doing them. Colin is finding his massage therapy painful too. He got up all stiff and sore this morning so I sent him to the shower. Warm water helps him loosen up the muscles. I hope Glenn can get under a hot shower today as well, being sore from raking leaves yesterday. Good to hear your Book work is almost done! I hope you find the missing documents without too much trouble. I know what you mean about tasks to do before Christmas. I have a list of them that I can now concentrate on, since my card classes finished yesterday. They start up again mid January so I need to prepare by cutting kits in tbe new year.
Barb, Evan is adorable! That's a really cute photo of him. I was glad to read you had such a fun day with him yesterday. Your cooking plans sound nice. I hope you have enough energy to go around for all the busyness coming up for the family! My Zoom call was a training session about social media. I was the student that time. Card class was at my house and I had four ladies come. I was their teacher then. They wanted to make pop up gift bag cards. I didn't take a photo of them all together but here are Chandra's:
Judith, I hope your medical appointments and treatments are going alright. I know they are a trial and very tiring. Praying for you 🙏 ❤️

Tomorrow is the big day. HH goes I at 7 AM and has the baby at 10. Hopefully she does weigh 6 lbs & no NICU needed. Guess we will know tomorrow. This baby is being born early due to a smaller uterus HH has from 2 ectopic pregnancies. So we will see mom & Bsby Saturday. Plus big sister Mariposa & HH mom see them too with us. She doesn’t drive coming from Hing Kong.
I made my first fruit cake & more Christmas Crack.
Tomorrow is craft morning. So I’ll attend that & I hope to make some cranberry oatmeal, with white chocolate cookies.
Judith prayers for you & wisdom for drs. Plus the strike.
Linda. I hope Glen’s hands are better. It was cold this morning here. 16*. Our high was only 27*.
🥶
It’s to be warmer this weekend. So that is nice. I had no frost on my car, which surprised me.
Prayers for you as you do,the exercise too.
Susan you sure are busy the cards are very busy. Teaching & getting kits together. Quite talented.
Thank you all for the prayers. All in God’s hands.
Prayers for all.
Willow,JC & others too. 🙏🏻

I will catch up tomorrow and post Devotions tomorrow. Praying for HK for safe delivery and healthy baby.
Posted an update and requested prayer on our Prayer Request Thread!
Be back tomorrow.
Good Night and God Bless. 🙏🤗0 -
Having breakfast with friends and it's our youngest don's birthday. I'll be back tomorrow, everyone. Take care and God bless you all.1
-
A busy day for me. I went to the craft morning at our church. Then I had so me sushi as I had a birthday coupon to use & only get a week to use it. Harry doesn’t eat sushi. HH introduced me and we eat cooked not raw.
Then I walked & I baked some cookies.
Tomorrow we will take Amy & 🦋 plus us to see Annabella. I hope Gombe able to. Rake leaves & bake some cookies.
Harry will be working all day. He’s got his biggest vet home to place their medicine so he gets home Sunday 4-5 AM.
I hope his cough won’t get worse with the long hours he has.
Hope all had a good day
Prayers for Judith.
Linda hope you had a nice bday celebration with your grandson
Tomorrow is Pearl Harbor, day too in USA.
🙏🏻1 -
Barb - Annabelle is so beautiful. How is Hong Hong doing? I hope she is feeling more relief from her breathing with the baby out. This baby is long awaited and an answer to prayer. She was a good weight and length. I hope you can slow down soon. It sounds like you still have a lot of baking to do.
Judith - I am so sorry about the lump on your neck. I pray that it will be an easy fix and it is benign. As always we are lifting you and your many doctors up in prayer.
Susan - I am so glad that you were able to celebrate your son's birthday with a breakfast.
Hi and blessings to everyone!1 -
I must have missed the post about Annabella's arrival? Barb, that is good news. I'll check the prayer request thread. Maybe you posted it there. Mariposa and Anbabella sound so nice together. I hope Harry stays well. Sushi is yummy. Enjoy it!
Linda, I was confusing g with my post. We had breakfast with Greg and Lyn at their house. Our two sons arrived at our house late afternoon for brownies and coffee. The two of them had been working together for the day and called in at the end of it. It was so nice to have them together. Hugs from adult children are wonderful.
We have Church today and it's a hot day. We'll be using the giant fan in the school gym for sure.1
