He is on breathing machine, I asked about pain and he said no pain. He is tired still but stayed awake longer flay. Only sat for PT and needs to swallow to eat food so, pray plus pneumonia as a touch of it.so they have him on antibiotics for it. I hope he stands next PT whenever that be.
He needs to get stronger. In God’s time.1 -
Here is Harry 3 and his family if any of you have not seen it. This is the picture I printed a 5x 7 for him. Keep praying. I hope he has another good day. Being aware is so nice, I read when with him but he’s aware of what is going on more than he was before. He keeps resting bur aware too.
Many prayers.1 -
I did have a lovely birthday party. I ended up getting four new blouses. We had cherry and pecan pie as well as gluten free cake. With all those desserts we did bring back 2 pieces of cherry pie. Glenn went to the dentist today to get his crown replaced. It is so nice that he can eat regular food now. It is hard to know what he was eating when it was blended.
Judith - I now understand a bit more what you go through every day with your blended food. I look forward to the day that you have healing and can also have regular food. As some have mentioned, your pictures you posted for Easter or other holidays are very lovely. It is amazing how expressive a picture can be.
Susan - I am hoping that the steroid injection will start to relieve Colin's shoulder pain. Has it been the same in the past - that it is not immediate relief?
Barb - we are holding you and HH and girls in prayer. Sitting at Harry3's bed watching the ups and downs of recovery can be frustrating. He had the best surgeon and now he has the "Great Physician" who is mending his body at the rate it needs. 12 hours of surgery has done a lot of damage to his body and rest is the best thing that he needs.

Good Morning All
I was with Family on Monday, it was good to be with them over Easter but I was feeling it so much last night, been trying to wind down so came on here and posted on the threads. Waiting for my meds to come into effect so I am here on chat cafe, you will look at time and wonder why I am not in bed. Too uncomfortable to rest so that why I am here at 12:30am Tuesday morning. Happy you enjoyed the Easter Devotionals I shared all week with you. I enjoyed receiving them and reading them along with posting them on here for you to read.
Barb, my prayers continue for Harry and the whole family!

I received a beginner embroidery kit for my birthday so now I will attempt to keep my brain young by learning a new skill. I did try it 43 years ago when my son was born but have not done anything with it since. It was to keep from being bored while I was at the ispitsl. Things got really busy after that but now I have extra time especially when we travel. We had an appliance repairman over today to look at our icemaker. It was too old to repair so we have a new one now. I hope the rest of the fridge continues to work and we do not need to replace it.
Judith - I am sure that your family enjoyed having you at their house but I am sorry you were so uncomfortable last night. Hopefully today is a better day and your meds have caught up with your pain.
Barb - HH had a good report on Caring Bridge today for Harry3. These days are encouraging. When a not so good day comes, you can remember this day and remember that good days will come again.
Susan - I hope that not seeing you here today means you are busy and not that Colin is having a bad day. Maybe I am just here earlier than you.
Praying for you all.

Linda, you were just here earlier than me. I posted yesterday morning and today it is a new morning, but I am posting a little later as I slept in a bit. Yesterday's card class was tiring! I always do so much more physically and mentally when I teach. Colin is not getting much relief for his shoulder yet. It bruised up where he had the injection so maybe the steroid hasn't been able to infuse properly. He does have two torn tendons so maybe he won't get much relief this time. It has taken awhile to work in the past. Hey, I am glad you had a good birthday.
Judith, I am so sorry it was uncomfortable to sleep last night. I hope you are able to sleep some today. I'm glad you could spend time with family though. Hugs!
Barb, Harry3 is right where he needs to be in the ICU. I hope his poor body starts to show you it is recovering soon. It would be so stressful for you all to see him like this, and I do feel for you all. Praying, hon

Harry stood today, his catheter is out. He can have some foods & liquids. He needs to chew so ptpray plus with the brain drain not need a shunt. He was tired when I was there. He was pleased that I printed some family photos which I hung for him. Oh he can read there digital clock now eyes focus so good news.
Judith. Thank you for the Easter thoughts I tried to read them all. Some days a challenge with Harry 3 & all.
Prayers for you and all that you are going through with ll. Glad you had your family for Easter Monday. Hope you sleep better tonight. 🙏🏻Susan prayers for Colin. Hoping that the shot helps him. Sorry it’s taking its time. Also for you & all you do. Keep looking up.
Linda. So embroidery. Hooe it goes well. I use to do some years ago
Right now with watching the girls then see 3 at the hospital I am tired. Today I didn’t watch the girls but afraid I’ll be there again this weekend. I feel my 70 years. So hard to do both and spring or yard work plus like to make some cookies for my mom for mother day in time I tell myself. I see a ENT for mouth sores Monday. So I’ll watch the girls Tuesday & Wednesday. Just not sure about weekends. They have no sign ups for watching the girls.
Jean our daughter hubby , Tim goes back to work this weekend so Jean will have the 3 boys by herself. As Cody doesn’t need hospital germs.
Please pray.1 -
Barb, I am rejoicing with the beginning of your text that told us Harry was able to Stand today, Praise God, and the catheter is out, you said he can have some foods and liquids, and can read the digital clock and was happy with the pictures you brought and put up at his bedside. Does he have a Bulletin Board near by so you can post cards and notes/pictures for Harry to see, this will encourage him so much. I am thanking God for all this Good News you have shared Barb. My prayers continue for Harry and the whole family.
Linda, such a nice gift for you to receive, I am sure you will enjoy working on the new project. Like you said I also hope your fridge works well and you don’t need to replace it. I am sorry you had to get a new ice maker, but hopefully the repairman gave you a good price or at least a good discount. Thank you for your kind words and as always I appreciate your support & prayers. This morning I slept longer and the meds have helped me, I had a very quiet laid back day which really helped me as by late afternoon I was getting more relief in which I thank God. So glad Glenn had the crown replaced and can eat regular food now, no more blended food. I am so happy for your husband.
Susan, so sorry that Colin is not getting much relief from the shoulder pain. My prayers continue. Glad you were able to sleep in today after such a busy day yesterday with your card class you taught. Thank you for the Hugs and your kindness. I rested a lot today and only did what I had to do, washed the dishes I used so I wouldn’t be faced with a sink full of dishes tomorrow.
Be back tomorrow, going to call it a night. So it’s Good Night and God Bless…😴🙏🤗 My Prayers are with you all..

Judith, that's so good that you got some rest and pain relief, but I know you are still feeling pain and are tired. I hope you can take it easy the rest of the day. Like you the dishes would bother me the next day so I'm glad you got them out of the way. Yes, Colin knows pain too and I guess all we can expect is a little easing of his shoulder. He still has good days mixed with the bad so we are thankful.
Barb, that is such encouraging news to hear about Harry3's progress. This whole ordeal is taking a toll on all of you though. I hope you won't have to do more than you are really able to do as that might put your own health at risk. I'm praying for you all.
Tomorrow is Anzac Day. We're singing national anthems (both the Australian and New Zealand ones) and a hymn (Nearer My God To Thee) with a bagpipe player. With all the rain, it will have to be held inside and not outside near the flagpole. I have to be dressed, vocals warmed up and checked in at 5:15am. Ugh. Early mornings are not easy, but I will do it for Anzac Day. We'll sing with the piper again at 11am, Mull of Kyntyre. Shaun is bringing Inara and Yolanda here for the 11am service and to have lunch with us. So I am not sure if I will be posting here in the morning? I'll try to get here but it might be later in the day than usual.
2 -
Susan I hope Anzac Day goes well for you. That’s neat about the bagpipe. Both my grnad fathers were born in Scotland. Prayers you can do the very early rising. Have a fun day. I guess while we sleep 🙏🏻
Prayers for Colin that with the pain he can enjoy the day too. Praying his pain goes away too.Judith. Prayers as you have something I believe tomorrow. Praying you can sleep and the drs can help you out. I hope you get another good night sleep.
no Harry has n bulletin board but a wipe board & mirror. So some of the pictures are there plus on the doors to, his restroom.Linda. I trust Glenn is enjoying eating regular food now. Harry 3 has a started to get some regular food today. He had fish salmon for lunch.
is your refrigerator the ice maker working now? Praying. Hooe you had a good day.Well the icu team is quite pleased with Harry 3 progress. He ate some food but was tired too today. He ate a banana today too. I fed him some of his lunch when I got there.
Just keep praying in Gods time. I hope he can get his own room soon, so his girls can see him. I know in God’s time. Maybe next week? No talk about it. God knows when. Then after that rehab.
Maybe he will stand tomorrow?
It’s close to be a week after surgery so he ghastly come a long way. He can talk, feed himself, Moche all his limbs. He can focus and has no feeding tube either. So,progress made.
Thank you for the prayers. Keep praying for HHI got a few cherry to,ago plants and some begonias to put in my containers. I will stop by Blake house together my rose plant that Jean bought for Mother’s Day. I will leave hummus and peeps for them. Jean is managing.
Thank you again for the prayers.0 -
I am posting early today as I have an early morning appointment at VGH to remove the diseased Tissues and Skin on Face and Lips. Still no word on the 2nd med my Oncologist prescribed. He has put in 2 sets of special requests filling in all the information they requested. I spoke to the Oncologist Assistant on Thursday and was told the second special request was just sent in. Hopefully we hear back soon. Will keep you posted. It’s a lovely day with lovely sunny skies but there is a chill in the air especially in the early morning and at night. I hope the weather improves so I can plant hopefully by end of April or first week of May.
Susan, hope you have a nice Anzac Day! Hope it isn’t too hard getting up so early. So nice you are singing both National Anthems and having the bagpipes playing. I really like the hymn Nearer my God, it always brings tears to my eyes. So glad Shawn is bring Imara and Yolanda to the 2nd service at 11:00am. Hope you all have a nice lunch after at your home Susan. Hope Colin can participate in the service and enjoy lunch with the family after. I am praying he gets some relief from the shoulder pain.
Barb, so glad Harry has a white board and mirror and door that messages and pictures can be posted there for him. So encouraging reading all the Good Reports on Harry’s progress. He is doing extremely well. So happy the ICU Team are happy with his progress, that he is feeding himself & eating some solid food like a banana, can move his limbs and speak, this is all encouraging! Praise God!
I am on earlier than usual so going to miss Linda! I am praying for you and Marilyn and JC too!
Will text an update to you tomorrow night after I’m home and have a rest!
Have a wonderful evening and day tomorrow! Love Hugs and Prayers! ♥️🤗🙏

I am getting a late start on posting tonight. It was a busy day with working in the garden pulling weeds and cleaning up with my daughter, coffee with a friend, and frozen yogurt with Glenn along with the other normal things to do. Tomorrow we will go to Cheyene to see a friend who lost his wife two weeks ago. She was his caregiver (he has MS) and easily looses his balance, forgets to take his medications and has had some big grand mal seizures because of his stress. We will go have lunch with him and anoint him with oil and pray for his healing. This is the second wife that he has lost. I did not know his first wife but this wife was very special and as I said his caregiver to coordinate his cares and MS symptoms. I also need to wash clothes, change sheets and pack for our trip over the mountain Friday morning. I am so glad that my computer has been fixed. We have a friend who has helped us before but this time he was stumped for a bit. It turns out that there was a Google update that our antivirus did not recognize and was stopping the computer from doing regular tasks. He looked it up and he said many computer fixer people have said this is a common problem with the latest update. I did not know the antivirus could do things like that. We had to uninstall the antivirus and then need to reinstall it and that should be all that is needed. Our ice maker is working fine now. It is so much better than having to make our own ice cubes. It is funny how we did not think anything about making ice 15 years ago when we did not have ice makers. I have gotten spoiled with all the new features appliances have now.
Judith - I am praying for your comfort after seeing the doctor today. I hope that you will hear soon about the second medication they want to start. It sounds like you are having weather days like we are. It is beautiful during the day but when the sun goes down it does get colder. I hope my rose bush is doing OK that we planted before we left.
Barb - wonderful news again that Harry3 is standing, eating and seeing better. It is encouraging that the ICU staff are also seeing good changes. Praying for all of you as you see God healing and working in all of our lives. Stressful times seem to draw us closer to God as we have to trust him more.
Susan - I hope Anzac day was wonderful and your had good weather for it. I am so sorry that you had to get up so early but I am sure the service was inspiring especially the music with the bagpipes. Praying for Colin's shoulder and your stamina to help him with all he needs.

Good (early) morning. I am ready to go to the Anzac Day Dawn service. We had thunder, lightning and rain all night and more is due, so we will stay inside for all the proceedings. Lunch will also be at the Clubhouse. I'll be thinking of all of you with gratitude today.
1 -
The Dawn Service was lovely. We have a midday one to do now. It was good that the ceremony was held inside. Last night we had tremendous thunder, lightning and 3" of rain. It would have been so soggy out by the flagpole. The flag was raised inside the Club House, wreaths were laid, we had The Last Post, the piper and drummer didn't overwhelm us...there were about 150 in attendance. Lunch Service will be bigger.

We spent quite a bit of time traveling to see our friend who lost his wife of 35 years then had a seizure and fell and broke his lower spine. He is on bedrest so we met with him in his bedroom. He is so brokenhearted but not discouraged. He says he knows that God knows what he is doing. His faith is very encouraging. We read Psalm 34 and prayed with him but mostly just listened. He is still planning to go on a mission trip to Nepal this November. He had to cancel his knee replacement surgery that was scheduled for three days after his wife passed. With the broken spine, that surgery is now on hold. I hope he can get it and heal well before he goes because he wants to go mountain climbing. He said that is would be only "to the first base camp" but I am not sure what that means. We have the grandkids here tonight so we can spend some time with them. Our oldest granddaughter babysits them on a regular basis on Thursdays so they will just stay at our house and she will watch them here. Do you think that I should ask her to divide her pay with me since I will be cooking dinner for them? 😄I guess that may not be a good idea since she needs to be saving money for college this Fall.
Susan - I am glad that you survived getting up so early for the ceremony. Maybe you can take a hap later on to catch up on your sleep although you are scheduled for lunch with family. I am glad that you had an indoor place to meet. It sounds like it would have been very soggy to meet outdoors.
Judith - praying for your appointment today. I hope that you are able to rest and not be in so much pain as you were last week.
Barb - I did not see an update today but I was very encouraged with the fact that he passed his swallowing test. I laughed at HH saying that Anabella may pass him up with eating and standing. I am glad that they are able to have some laughter in this serious situation.

Susan. So glad the Anzac Day went well we had a storm last night even lost power for 3.5 hours.
Could Colin enjoy it too?Judith many prayers for you and all you are going through. Much wisdom for the doctors too. I pray you won’t be in too much pain and no lost in weight, many prayers .
Linda. Somglad that your ice machine is working. We don’t have an ice maker, our kids have it but never we have had one in our 47 years of marriage. So I’m use to it.
So glad that your computer working too. So you removed the antivirus app & then put it back on. So glad fixed.
so glad that your computer working w pent to be a comfort for a loss of a wife. Is the Cheyenne in Wyoming or Colorado. Only Cheyenne I know is Wyoming’s captiol, & not far from Colorado. Hope you had no safety in your travels. So Harry 3 sat in a chair. He won’t potty release it, once it worked, but he had to use the catheter 2 time. Pray his brain will release it.
He will have a CT scan to check his drain. It’s a bit clearer but needs to be clear or a shunt will be put in Tuesday. God heals and can. It’s what I am praying for. In his time.Mariposa put her sisters bottle I her trash can. I think she misses her daddy. Please pray he can get to a room so,the girls can see him. I think HH is getting tired too.
God has it I know. Thank you all for the prayers. Last Thursday still in surgery. So, he’s come a long way.0 -

Hello everyone. What a day yesterday was. It was very good and boy did I sleep well last night. I got a photo of The Starlight Singers and the pipers and drummers when we performed Mull of Kyntyre. I'm the white haired singer second from the left behind the pipers.
Here's a better picture of the pipe and drum band:
Yes, Colin came to the lunch event and son Shaun, DIL Yolanda and 3yo Inara came too. Colin lasted well! All he had to do was sit at a table and talk and laugh with friends and family. He was in bed by 7pm though.
Barb, it is heartening to hear of Harry3's progress. I'm so glad you can clearly see the improvements. He will of course have more healing to do but he sure has come a longer way in a week. I hope you and HH are getting more sleep. Praying about the shunt.
Judith, it's good to hear you got through yesterday. We know your treatment days are very taxing on you. Take the rest you need and know you have my love and prayers.
Linda, I smiled about you thinking of taking a cut of babysitter money! I'm glad you could visit your friend. It sounds like he really needs encouragement. The poor man has already been through so much. He sure has big goals which might help him keep recovering.
2 -
Judith. Praying that you mad me it through today. Also, praying that you are not in much pain & will sleep, well. Prayers. Let us o wow how you did when you can
Susan. Thank you for the pics. It looked like a lot of fun. So glad you. Luke perform and enjoy it. So, glad that Colin and your family got to be there. When one has a busy day one usually sleeps well. Prayers you slept well today too.
I loved seeing the bagpipers since my hereify is from Scotland. Thank you for sharing the pics with us!
Praying for Colin with his pain.Linda. I bet you are tired with halving to babysit and enjoying your family grand grandkids.
Harry 3 is just tired. The PT said that ism5e blood in or on his brain with vascular surgery it is bloody, hence why the 2 pints of blood needed for his surgery. In one week he is!breathing on his own, no feeding tube sometimes we help, with feeding and no catheter. His brain still needs to signal his bladder to empty and maybe #2 too pray.
He has double vision so, pray. The drain is gettin clearer but they think he. Any still need a shunt. Permanent so pray.
The daily bread was good today so, I read it to, him & prayed. I might do this every day I’m there.
Thank you for praying long road. I pray he can leave ICU so be so nice see he could see his girls.
Have a good weekend.
Prayers.1 -
Susan - The pictures are so nice so we can imagine that we were there. Your hair is getting longer and so pretty. I am glad that Colin was able to go out to lunch with the family and have some fun tines. We all need that once in a while. Having some good sleep is good also when you were short some hours the day before.
Barb - We were in Cheyenne, Wyoming visiting yesterday. It is about 1 1/2 hours North of us. We did have fun with the grandkids for the evening. I did not get to spend much time with them because I was trying the get the laundry and packing done. My 11 y/o granddaughter just had an expander put in her mouth yesterday morning in preparation for braces so she was not feeling very well. She said she was in pain and it was difficult to chew. She had one in for a month before but got some food underneath it which caused an abscess that had to be treated. Hopefully now she will not have any problems with it since she is healed. Harry3 is improving so well. I know it seems a long time before he will get back to "normal" but we all pray that he will heal at the right speed so his brain can get rewired to be able to d what he needs it to do. I think it is great that you are sharing your devotional with him. We all need encouragement from the scriptures daily.
Judith - I hope that you are feeling better today. I do appreciate you getting on here even though you were not feeling well. It is back to the number of spoons you have that Susan told us about.
Our trip over the mountains was uneventful even though it was Friday which is usually a busy traffic day. It started out as rainy and foggy but after we went through the tunnel from the East slope (Denver area) to the West slope (Grand Junction side) the weather was sunny and beautiful. As soon as we got home we had to unpack the food that needed to be kept cold then we went to a B-B-Q going away party for one of the students who will be moving to Denver to start Vet Tech school. We will miss her a lot.
1 -
Here are two pictures I wanted to share with you. The top one is my birthday rose bush that has started blooming and the second one is my granddaughter that is graduating in May. The school (Jefferson Academy) gives them these signs to put in the front yard to celebrate their graduation.
1 -
Linda, thank you for sharing the pictures of your Granddaughter who is graduating in May, very pretty young lady! Your Rose Bush is gorgeous! Love the color. So glad you had a good trip over the mountain and back. I am sure you will miss the student who is moving to Denver for Veterinary Technical School. It was nice you had a BBQ going away party. Thank you for your kindness, support, love and prayers. I slept off and on through the night. Tonight will be better.
Susan, thank you for sharing the pictures of the Starlight Singers and Pipers and Drummers. Your hair looks lovely and a nice length, it looks like your hair has grown since I saw you last in a picture. So glad the family were able to be there and Colin was able to enjoy being there. I can understand that he would be in bed at 7 last night. Hope he slept well and you also.
Barb, thank you for your kindness love and support and your prayers. I am so encouraged to read all about the progress Harry has made in a week since surgery, breathing on his own, he is eating, no feeding tube, God is Good. So glad you are reading the Daily Bread Devotional to him. This will encourage him much. My prayers continue for Harry Hong Hong the children & for you Barb and the whole family.
it’s late so this gal is heading to bed. Good Night all! God Bless praying for you all!
🙏🤗😇0 -
Judith. Continue prayers for you and all that you are going through inseeing doctors. Prayers you get your ointment I believe that you’ve been waiting for. You were to get it weeks I believe. Prayers.
Linda, Such neat pictures. I love the rose and your grand daughters sign in see them around here too I got ,otsmof buds but no roses blooming. My daughter Jean got me the Kardinal hybrid rose it’s a red rose, since my Mr Lincoln did not comeback from winter. I got a rose garden, with 12 different colors of roses. I’ll get a picture when some start blooming.
So you were in Cheyenne . We’ve been there several, times and drove through many times when our son lived in Laramie, Wyoming. Have you ever been to,Laramie or to the snowy mountains, like Medicine Bowl? So pretty there and open.
Oh we have 2 grands with braces one has the expander so I know about them plus foods they cannot eat. The other one is James daughter, and she has the Invisalign. She gets a new one every few weeks. Lots of pain with the two ways. 🙏🏻
Susan hope you all had a good night sleep and now Saturday for you is half over. Trust it went well. Maybe a day of quiet after the festivities of the day one for. Again thank you for sharing the pictures. So James and family will be coming up here from Branson, today and will be around to help. Kaelyn will be 13, on May Day. I made a granny square lap blanket lik my grandmother made me. I have 4 made but will need 5 more with 9 grand children.
I hope to get some perennials today that grow I this area. Then I hope to go to, the collecting of old meds at a grocery store.
I did get some veggies yesterday and a hanging basket of flowers for our porch. So,I have started getting our flowers and gardens going. Maybe when blooming later pictures will come.
I will be seeing Harry 3 later. Plus James and family.
I hope all have a great day.1 -
Good morning all. It's Sunday a day we have Church so I will make this fast.
Barb, sorry Harry3 has to have a permanent shunt after all but it is encouraging to hear about his progress. He is on our church prayer list so I will update them. Glad you read scripture studies to him. He is a man if faith so will appreciate you doing that so much.
Linda, I loved the pictures! How special for your granddaughter to have that school photo. She is lovely. And so is your rose.
Judith, I'm glad you got some sleep last night. I do hope tonight will be even better for you. Rest is so important for healing. Hugs.
Thank you all for complimenting my hair. It has been several months since ce I had it trimmed. I'm about due to have it evened up.
1 -
Judith. Did you get the ointment that you’ve been have been waiting for I hope so & it works. ?Hope you get some good night sleep too. Prayers.
Susan. Hope you had and are having a good Sunday. Ours starts in 4 hours or so.
Thank you for having your church praying for him gurpess he has the world playing for him as Hong Hong is from Hong KongLinda Hioe you had a good day.
Well Harry 3 didn’t do much he was tied. He told the nurse that he was not sleeping well at night. Pease pray. So tonight they may give him so,e melatonin to help. I wish he could Lee like usual, instead of using the catheter so no infection starts and give him release. I’m sure the double vision is why he doesn’t keep his eyes open either. Pray please.
Tomorrow a CT scan will be done to see about the shunt. The liquid is slowing down and seems clearer. God can do this for him. Lots of prayers he needs. I know in God’s time, it is named for us all. The neurology icu nurses in say he is not having anything new Thant others have not had. So that is encouraging plus been told the healing be a roller coaster up and shown. To expect this. It’s just so hard for the families.
Our son James came up from Branson, MO, with his family so Kim, our other daughter in law, and kids watched the girls. So the cousins played together. I went to see Harry 3. I was hoping to see the grandkids but James had already left. They are staying at a motel. Thought it was easier that way. So we. Hope to see them tomorrow. Maybe have a meal together. They will head home & I to the hospital.Thank you for praying.

It has been really windy today and temps in the 80F's. We might have some rain mid-week but the percent of chances are pretty low at 20%. Our lawn people set up the irrigation system and it is working well. Our apple tree does not look like it is having any blooms this year unlike the one that is covered with blooms in Westminster. I am sure we will get enough apples from that tree to make up for none here in Grand Junction. This tree is three years old so maybe it just needs to mature a little more. We planted the grape vine starts we got from our vine in Westminster and are hoping that they will start growing. I do not know the name of the grapes but they are rather small but have a wonderful sweetness that we really like. We freeze them for use in the winter.
Barb - Your rose garden with 12 different color roses sounds wonderful. Do they all have the rose scent? The newer roses I have looked at have less thorns but they also have less scent. I would love to see your roses when they are blooming later in the Summer. I may have been through Laramie when I was still in High School when we were visiting my brother when he was an intern for a church in Wyoming but I do not remember. The Medicine Bowl sounds like an interesting place to visit. Is there a story to the name? We continue to pray for Harry3 and his CT tomorrow for the shunt placement. I have a friend whose daughter had a shunt put in when she was a newborn for other reasons but she did not have any problems with it. She is now in her 20's. It is encouraging that the nurse told you that what is happening to Harry3 is normal. The more information you can get the better so you can understand what is happening. I am glad that James and his family were able to visit and help HH out with the girls. I hope that you do get to have lunch with them before they leave.
Judith - I am sorry that you did not have a restful night and hope that tonight is better.
Susan - I hope you had a blessed church service. Ours will be in 10 hours followed by a baptism in the Colorado river after church. The river is still very cold and a bit muddy. He is young and brave so it will not bother him like it might us older people.
Sweet dreams and talk to you tomorrow.

Linda,as you mentioned Baptism it reminded me that Easter Sunday we had a Baptismal service, such a beautiful service, Resurrection Sunday having a Baptismal service. 2 Men in their 40’s new Christians making a commitment to Jesus. I am not sure if I shared this last week but wanted to share it now. Hope your grape vines start to grow so you get grapes off the vine this year. Sorry about your Apple tree but glad you should get apples from your tree in Westminster.
Barb, glad you have family here who are helping HH with the girls and can visit Harry. My prayers continue for Harry, praying about the MRI regarding the shunt placement. So glad the ICU Nurses are able to encourage you about the things Harry is going through that is part of the recovery process. I agree it is hard Barb as you and the rest of family look on. Praying for God’s Strength and peace. You asked about my ointment I have been waiting on. It hasn’t been approved yet, we are waiting for the Pharmacare to respond back to my Oncologist giving clearance for the med to be covered with no payment required. Thank you for praying. I am still using the chemotherapy med and good news, my blood work has been good showing no change in my liver. Praise God!
Susan, it’s Saturday here but realize it’s Sunday at your end. Have a blessed Sunday and May your Services be blessed. Will you be playing your Ukulele at Church? And will the Starlight singers be singing special hymns at Church today? Thank you for your prayers.
It’s my bedtime now so it’s off to bed now. Good Night God Bless! 😴🛌🙏🤗

Good Monday morning from the other side if the world. I hake the Uke group this morning, Colin then has Physio, then I have Starlight Singers this afternoon. Colin has had a lot of nerve pain in his knee and isn't sleeping too well. He won't let me put any pain creams or cold or heat packs on him as it is too sensitive. Not sure how else to help. He has been wearing a knee guard sometimes.
Judith, that's good news about your liver numbers being alright. I hope the medication issue will be sorted out soon. Our church services were lovely. I don't play uke there, only flute. And Starlight Singers are a secular group here at the Village who sing hymns for special occasions only. Our next Starlight Singers 'gig' is for a cancer research fundraiser next Monday. We'll be singing a few silly songs to go with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party theme.
Linda, wow about the Colorado River Baptism! I'm sure it will be cold this early in spring! Glad you have two apple trees as I know you do a lot of cooking with apples each year. I hope your grape vines do take off now the weather is warming up a little.
Barb, sorry Harry3 has had some days with little improvement. I hope seeing his brother's family will encourage him and that it encourages you, also. Not sure about the world praying for him but you know you have a church in Australia and one in Hong Kong praying. Our Pastor prayed for him at yesterday's morning service and he is on our prayer list for prayers throughout the week.
