I joined the MYAC 10 years ago today. I've seen a lot of people come and go, but I really appreciate those of you who are still around and the impact you have had on helping me make healthy choices. Can we make it another 10?
P.S. I really want to thank @dinos who started this challenge. He's still around on MFP but he rarely drops in with this group anymore.4 -

@CPANUS - It's pretty out here today too! Clear skies, sun is shining....only downside is that it was -8ºF last time I checked. But I'll still take the sun!
@TAHM42 - Glad you're healing up and easing yourself back into exercising! Keep up the great work! Today is 1 week since my surgery and my steri-strips are still on as well. Seems to be healing well, but dang it's sure making me itchy! I haven't been on the recumbent bike yet. So far just easy-ish walks on the treadmill.
@CLEPANT - Glad you're improving! Try not to overdo it or you might set yourself back. But I know...stuff has to get done.

Recumbent... it does get boring just like the dredmill, but at least I can watch TV while doing it.
@darkrider42 at least you didn't have to do staples first. Yes the steristrips itch like crazy!!! I think that is how you get them to turn loose. They are only slightly more comfortable. week 3 in the books should be only 3 more weeks of no lifting0 -

@TAHM42 - Yes, you are absolutely right about the staples. That is a whole other level. Hang in there and you'll be healed before you know it!
...and GOOO @JANET!!! :flowerforyou:

Half marathon done. If showing up is the hard part, then I'm 3/4 done. Unfortunately, as mileage goes I'm not even halfway. The first three races have been great. Weather was good and I felt strong. Tomorrow is the full marathon though and sadly it's going to be hot.3
