I hope everybody has had a good weekend! I've too many posts to catch up on to reply individually.
Gardeners World Live/BBC Good Food was brilliant. Mom and I are already planning to go again. We didn't do much in the food section but the plants/show gardens were amazing! I bought a cat mint, and some orchid bark I needed. Next year I'll have a plan and a list for sure.
Today has been pretty hectic, though I didn't get up until 10am; must've needed the sleep. Spent some time at the allotment, made up for yesterday's lack of spends at the garden centre, and have the bedroom ready for carpet fitting tomorrow. OH wanted to go out for tea, so we've been to TGIs. Bit calorific but enjoyable, and nice to spend the time together.
Work and carpet fitting tomorrow so will be a busy one building furniture but looking forward to getting the room finished.5 -

My husband and I went to a nearby resort for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. I picked this one because the pools are spectacular...but it rained most of the time and we didn't get to use the pools. We still had a nice time. We definitely ate a lot and drank and lot. I did go the store this afternoon so I have healthy food for the week. One more week until our family vacation in Colorado.6

I actually went out to an evening event today - it was an improv night by a dance company in Sherbrooke Québec. They have them monthly, but this was the first one I have attended. I really went to spy on what they have for music. It was a good evening, and I might be able to sit in with the musicians when they start up in the fall. There are usually 3, it seems, but not always the same people each time. The music is as improvised as the dance, so everyone has to think and react on the fly to the ideas proposed by the audience. I think it would be a lot of fun. Good dancers always amaze me - the things they can do!

I had a good week. I am in keto so my weight tends to go up and down a lot during the week depending on carb intake. I am traveling to the USA this week and will be there for a month. I plan on keeping keto going whilst I am there. Wish me luck 😅5 -

I'm using yesterdays weight as I've shot up overnight, following our meal out. I always get water retention after TGIs - it's tasty, but salty. Not the best choice for the day before weigh in, but it's not often OH suggests we go out on a whim so I was taking full advantage!

I am so tired of being wishy washy... I thought I was doing really well last week, but then I had a gain. Then my husband asked me about the pickles, and I admit I had been eating alot of them, like 2-3 servings per day... Well it turns out one serving is 33% of your daily sodium, so I have had like 7 straight days of LOTS of sodium, over what I normally eat, so I am going to push my pickles down to one serving every other day....
One day at a time, and today will be a good day !

I finished setting up my new workout room! I am really happy with how it turned out. I love to be in there and did my first workout today. Now the whole family wants the room for themselves!9 -
