well I didn't go for ice cream but I did end up snacking, so not a perfect night but having a much more productive Saturday than Friday evening.
I let myself sleep in just a bit and then took a long walk, including a half mile jog, and stopped in at this pool that I have passed on my walk for years. I looked up online that it opens this weekend so I popped my head in to ask what you need to do to access the pool. Turns out, nothing! It's state-run and totally open to the public, from today until the end of the summer 11am-6:45pm. I am so excited! I am going to be poolside as much as I can. Maybe work in some aqua workouts? @EvMakesChanges any tips?
Yoga and lunch are done. I'm journaling now before heading outside for some more sun in the hammock. I have some homework to do for the job search that requires brainstorming, and my book, while I hopefully backtrack some tan lines!
Super sore from my long workout yesterday, which I love. Nothing stops me from wanting to binge like sore ab muscles? Is that weird.
Pushing for a good Tuesday number. And starting to look forward to next weekend when I head to my friend's house in Plymouth to celebrate the 4th of July.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.3 -
Greetings from Virginia, Friends!
So this morning I did my first "on holiday" workout - a GrowithJo Tabata workout. And this afternoon, I checked out the Fitness Room in our holiday accommodation (we're staying at a suite apartment complex) and - it's not bad! So it looks like I can do some of my weight-led workouts while we're here too!
I took a final weight reading the day before we left the UK and it will be interesting to see what my reading will be when we get back. I'm determined to keep up some form of regular workouts - and incorporate regular walks and maintain logging. We'll see - watch this space.
@Kali225 I'm rooting for you with the upcoming interviews. I'm sending you positive vibes!4 -

Say hi to Plymouth for me - my maternal grandparents lived in Milton and we would often go over to Plymouth to get fresh lobsters and other delights. I have not been there since I was about 15, but there are some great memories. Have a fun day!

Hello everyone! I'm new to this group challenge. I'm joining for July. I decided to join because I think group challenges can be very motivating. I'll be more likely to stay on track. I'm a woman in my 30s, and have been obese since I was a teen. It's time to lose this excess weight. Best of luck to everyone!5

Welcome! We'll all be over on the July chat as of Sunday morning, so go ahead and tell us some more about yourself, where you live (if you are comfortable sharing that) and anything else. Then set some goals for the month and hopefully we'll help you keep on track to get there. The July chat thread is at
