A bit disappointed that the scale did not move an ounce, but at least I am feeling much better, have more energy and my clothes are fitting better. That is all good news!

I am also feeling extremely lucky to have dodged the Covid bullet so far. I hope all who are struggling with it right now are starting to feel better.
Looks like one more day of heat at we get back to better temps. Yesterday was actually good. Ended up getting a lot of very much needed rain which kept the temps low most of the day. Of course, we will probably pay for that today in both heat and obnoxious humidity.

Even though I am just beginning the tallies, I had to share a good laugh -

Went out this morning because hubs wanted danish from our local bakery. He makes this so easy. <insert sarcasm here> I didn’t eat one. Well, actually we got cinnamon buns, which they are famous for. I will only eat (part of) one if I can fit it within my calories.
Yep, it’s hot out again. I drive a VW Passat with that huge front to back sunroof and don’t you know, recently the shade over it decided to break and fall down. So now the car is REALLY roasting. It’s over $1,500 to repair, which is ridiculous and not happening. So we are trying to figure something else out. I’m ready to shove cardboard up there.
Off to figure out how to get some steps and drink some water.5 -
Husband is feeling better. He says he has post-sick, that feeling where you're not sick-sick but just tired and feeling blah.
I, on the other hand, am still dizzy, running a constant fever and struggling to climb the stairs to the bathroom without collapsing. He was sick 2 days before me so I expect to be feeling better by Wednesday.
I am very bored of napping, let me tell you. But I have too much brain fog for anything. I started a book but I get distracted every 2 or 3 pages.7 -

Catching up on posts - @conleywoods glad your doggo has a treatable tail issue!
hope @Terytha and @YinxFed are feeling better.
My weekend was really fun with my mom and grandma - lots of time in the pool, some shopping at the farmers market, and no alcohol for me which is also a win!
It is brutally hot here, right around 100F, but thunderstorms expected all day tomorrow and then Tuesday should be much more bearable. My plan is to try to make myself go to bed around 10pm so I can get up and walk around 6:30/7 to walk before the heat and the storms. However, we all know my track record with morning alarms, so stay tuned!
About to try a new upper body workout on FitOn, take the coldest shower in the world, and I am waiting to walk today until the sun goes down.

Hugs to you @Terytha - it sounds miserable. I hope it falls down the stairs that it is making you have trouble with. Soon.
One good thing about the hot temps - my tomatoes are getting ripe fast and I'll have my first garden eggplant tomorrow! The kale is coming in fast and furious, beans are tiny little things hopefully soon growing big, and the first zucchini will be ready to eat in a few days. Bring on the summer food!5 -

@jugar I’m hoping my tomatoes start to turn red. I have tons of green ones.
Not much going on today. Too hot. Logged food. Drank water. Steps not there.5 -
Let's sail on into Monday - ready for the last Monday weigh-in of July?
@MoonlitMuse
@DD265
@CarolAnnM2
Let's aim for a stronger week than this past one - racking up a few perfect days2 -
Evening all!
Today was a good example of vacation mode getting the best of me.
I'd had a big lunch and it was later in the day as well, so I had plans for a very small supper to fit within my remaining calories, knowing I wouldn't be hungry for more than that anyway.
That was fine, the intention was set.. but we went for a walk and had a beer on a patio (first time this trip!) which turned into two, and suddenly I was finding myself in the middle of a big dinner.
Restaurant eating got its grip on me and I'm about 2500 calories in the hole for the week (culimination of today and a bigger day a few days ago as well).
It's amazing to me how many calories a meal I used to consume regularly really is!
The key difference now is that I track it and observe it - know exactly what it was - and move on.
I sure do feel stuffed though... not a feeling I enjoy now.5 -
Happy Monday!

Not surprising given the amount of eating out. I'm mostly fluctuating around 89.2 at the moment, but hopefully soon I'll find the trigger to get me moving consistently lower.
We had a very busy weekend, but also we're both very tired and it was pretty humid which saps energy levels. We were in Yorkshire on Saturday and had brief catch ups with family, then a long (3 hour) walk yesterday. I spent some time at the allotment but mostly chatting, as I met my new allotment neighbour. They've had their plot a couple of weeks less than me but done nothing with it due to illness, though they're keen to crack on and we're talking about sharing some jobs on the paths between us etc.
I'm back at work today but also trying to catch up on small jobs at home during the day. Tonight I want to test out the battery powered strimmer I borrowed from Mom and see if it can level the back half of the allotment. Once cut right down, I can cover it to kill things off and feel like I've bought some breathing room whilst we start planning the layout for that area of the plot.4 -

I feel better today. Mostly just sinus pain and cough now, no fever. That said, I took a nap yesterday and when I woke up, I couldn't taste much of anything anymore.
So that's lousy. And random. Now I'm limited to foods that don't have offensive textures.
Anyways, Covid sucks, do not recommend. I'm gonna mask up and try to go for a short walk. I'm desperate for fresh air.4
