Thank you all for the great advice on stress eating. I am definitely an emotional, bored eater. With work being extra stressful recently, it hasnt helped. But I am glad to say I have had 2 good days in a row. Just trying to make some good choices in the moment and not looking on the treat counter at work 😂
And, I can't believe it's almost october already! I need to start thinking of some goals for next month.5 -
Good morning everyone!

Honestly, between getting COVID this month and vacation and eating almost to maintenance this week to keep my energy up (I'm so tired all the time! Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon!), I'll take this.
I had every intention this week to eat my normal deficit, but I was tired to the point of not even wanting to carry the baby from the car to the door, and calling my husband to do it. Like, pull a stool up to the stove to cook dinner, tired. So I made the executive decision to eat closer to maintenance for some more energy, maybe I would recover and get back to normal faster. So that's what I did, and I did get through my normal gym routine (going a little less hard than usual) by doing it.
You live and you learn. Here's to next month being better for weight loss!4 -

Hi everyone! Life has been busy.

Not really sure what I did differently, except herd 16 four year olds all day. My steps are up because of that. Not really exercise per se. I am pretty spent at night after 7 1/2 hours on my feet. Still not logging. Do I even know how to do that anymore? Seems like it.
Just ate food that was left in the kitchen for teachers because I hate making my lunch. There was a really good Mediterranean dip with hummus, feta, cucumber, tomatoes and olives. YUMMMM
I've been watching the hurricane today as it is moving through Greensboro and my house is still there with my son in it. He says it's fine so far, so that's good. Going to a jazz concert tonight with my hubby. I have to get him out some time, LOL. Hope you all have a great day.6 -
I didn’t weigh in this morning…part of it was not wanting to and I also forgot cause I had to get up and get to work much earlier than normal! If I’m able to weigh in tomorrow I can do that otherwise I’ll take the pass this week.2

I’m sitting in the ER at our local hospital to check if I have bronchitis or something else. I caught the cold my OH was generous enough to share and I may not be going to NYC tomorrow after all. I’ll keep you posted.
My eating has been pretty good. It makes a difference when I don’t eat too much. Quantity of good quality…yep. Eating the same amount my 6’2” spouse (at 5’2”) gives me a layered look without any added fabric!
More shall be revealed.

I was really hoping to lose more so I could finally cross that arbitrary BMI boundary from obese to overweight. I don't feel like I'm big enough to be obese but maybe I see myself as smaller than I actually am. I had some pretty bad dreams last night and woke up in a weird headspace - this weigh in didn't really help that. I just need to keep trusting the process though5 -

Well, here we are wrapping up another month. For me, it has been good in some ways, but not so great on eating, especially the last week or two. That autumnal turn towards colder weather has hit the "eat more" button, and I have not been very good about saying no! I'll be travelling for a couple of weeks in October as well, so between now and the 12th, I am going to try to hit the straight and narrow reset. I know it will help keep the anxiety levels down, and I'll feel strong and good when I get onto that plane. Focus on tracking, and keeping the flour and sugar at bay. They are creeping around, singing lovely songs... Time for some LALALALALA (LA are my initials, so I'll try to make that MY song!).5
