Good morning everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I had a very good night's sleep last night, but then I always do when I do not sleep well the night before. I did get a lot done but today is on cruize mode so I can just be content with what ever !!
@Dianedoessmiles1 why am I not surrpised you brought home and ORANGE cat ?? Oscar looks great, a little older then I would expect for a "kitten" ... since that is what you went to see ... Oliver might be a good name too - but what name comes to mind when you saw him - with our last one his name was Cilantro, but we called him Amigo and he came by that name and never Cilantro - we tried lol I am sure he will settle in just nicely and Izzy will realise she's got company NOT competition!! All in due time eh?? !! The WT this week is fabulous !!! Enjoy
@NovemberGail Yes I agree, she sure did look cold as it was raining when I was waiting for my appointment. That set up was outside a retro restaurant, did I go in ? NOPE just took the pics. GREAT words for today as somewhere we need both healing and that brings us delight !!
@Tabatha_Cain I looked those shoes up in the states site NOT so cheap at all for a closed heel sandle, which I need for the orthotics, so I will go back and see if Tim can help me find a pair of sandles that mimic my orthos or let me put them in without them being dressy - I did try the OOFAS but they are not for me. How was your night at work ? I know you will enjoy your weekend, although it might go by too fast !!

good afternoon everyone! it is a mainly cloudy day here today. my daughter says hi to all. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i did my strength training workout earlier this morning and i really enjoyed it. i went for a walk a while ago and i feel great! i dropped some extra food off to the local food bank box that is in the grocery store close to my place. i like to help others whenever i can. i will definitely be dancing to the 80's later on. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.1

someone..I suspect Kailey is cooking and it sure smells good!! She is getting to be quite the lil cook with eggs. As kids will do she gets on one food and eats it till she doesn't want it anymore..why it had to be eggs with them costing a mint ..oh..there is the reason right there!! hee hee...as long as she is eating food and not candy or cookies or ice cream!!
Diane...Oscar is beautiful..as is Izzy..they will soon be curled up snoozing in the sunlight as best friends!
Linda..finding shoes is a pain at times and yep if you need anything special it costs a mint. I have yet to figure out how this works..when you are younger..working full time and hopefully making decent wages stuff costs a lot..but not a mint then as you get older, have less income and are unable to work..suddenly everything costs more, much more than it ever did. I guess they think that the 20's on that money tree are just dropping off into our laps!!
Ahh, pups just informed me that it is time to feed them..Chuee is actually not the one raising the most noise this time..whoops..there he goes!!! Off to serve my masters..ya'al have a great day!!4 -
Thank you all for Robbie's birthday wishes. Those you asked, yes he talks, in fact at times he drives us crazy. He picks up things very fast, which is both good and bad because you never know when he will speak his mind. He does his talking on his terms.

Good Evening Everyone!
Today has been a very busy day with lots of exercise and movement. Completed my workouts, studied, did dishes and laundry, played Wii sports with Hubby, walked down town to meet my Son for his appointment at the bank, then walked to the grocery store and cabbed it home. Boy am I tired and muscles are not happy. But that's ok as I know they will be ready for tomorrow's workouts.2 -
Was a beautiful day today - the sun shining, no rain in sight and great walk this afternoon but the sunset, oh the sunset. I know my phone camera does not do justice to the sunset from the view in my room - but I will share anyway!
@katiecondy1 nice to see a post from you here, hope you are doing well and are healing as best you can - the crows are getting very chatty in the mornings and getting ready to start their new spring home for their babies, gotta watch those that will fly at you to keep you away from their young. My granddaughter likes fine dining as long as someone else is paying - but she also cooks that fine dining at home too to see if she can do it. She'll be headed to CA after her course is finished. After that no idea.

@Tabatha_Cain ,,, ENJOY the trip. Hope the weekend goes so fun you'll wish you never left!!! Awww Oscar is so lovable!! He's such a love bug!! Izzy is starting to realize he's here to stay. LOL She's not into that yet!! She's being so SPOILED and knows it, LOL using it to her advantage!!
@Novembergail ,,, Hehehehe I decided on Oscar for his name. He's sort of a SLOB or was at first, today he's been very good. LOLOL! But, his face is so narrow, Oscar fits. OH we'll see the movie eventually, but before it leaves (I HOPE!). I'll invite other friends to come.
@Lindiemaep ,,, HI Linda,, LOL We KNOW I wanted an orange cat FUREVAH!! But I was really looking at a little girl (Her name would of been Lucy)who's a calcio (a very very light colored of oranges, grays and whites). She was so sweet also, but the person who saw her online grabbed her the moment she saw it, she came in and got her too as I was there. SWEET!! I am so happy you guys had Amigo. Do you think you'll ever get a new one?
@Bookienj.,, Awwww TY TY TY TY!! He's such a love bug. He did NOT like me doing his nails tonight. So I stopped (for the moment). He's not as needy as he was yesterday, and calmer. LOL he's 9 months so he's almost fully grown.
@Katiecondy1 ,,, SO SWEET there GF you are rubbing OFF on Kailey,,, WOOHOO!!! Awww thanks he's such a good boy!! I did cut a few of his nails tonight, it upset him though he was relaxed. So I'll need to do that one at a time so he doesn't get upset.

@Tabatha_Cain Glad your appointment went well. I believe low potassium can cause insomnia and interrupt sleep. Maybe with getting your potassium where it needs to be will help some with the sleep issues.

*Hubs thought it was tuna, but it was really canned Chicken Chunks shredded. He swears he hates chicken mixed with mayo, as in chicken salad.🤫😉 He said the Pasta Tuna Salad was Delish, like 4 times.🤣😂2 -

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is going to be a great day. I am up now but I am going back to sleep once Joe gets to work. Today is my relax day and I plan on doing just that. I think today after Joe gets out of work we are going for a walk and we are going to talk. We are going to spend some good old fashion time together without any technology. I like that idea. Get some exercise in and some quality time.
@LindieMaeP - The night at work went by quick. Sorry those shoes are so expensive. They sent me home an hour early due to it being slow at work. I love your photos. They are great.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - That is cute that Izzy is using this to her advantage. She will accept him eventually.
@Catwmncat - That would be the hope. I would love to have my sleep where it should be. Oh your food looks good. Especially the popcorn.

Happy Caturday!!! My mind is hardwired for weekends -- even if I am retired. I recall Saturday mornings as a child. My dad would sleep in; mom would keep us quiet with watching cartoons and then dad would come down, have a cup of coffee, make a grocery list with mom and then he would go grocery shopping. It's a warm memory that brings them closer to me.
Looked over all the chats and glad to read that we all seem to be doing well today! Since I got 9 hours of sleep in, I am now a bit behind with my day and won't have comments. It's just good to see you all!
Today's word is BEAUTY.

Made today a great day! All planned exercise done, dishes and laundry done, walked to and from the grocery store to get what I needed for tomorrow, and played Wii sports with Hubby. Taking taco dip and tostitos tomorrow for Super Bowl at my friend's. Oh and got some studying done.3 -
Good evening everyone, are you ready for the Superbowl, is that this weekend? I do not watch, BUT way back when a long time ago, my cousin had a spot on the inbetween and it was a commerical but I forget what for now all these years later ... It might rain all day tomorrow, it was sunny at some point today.

@Catwmncat ,, LOL Here's a new picture for you. I just did it with Oscar, he's so DRAMATIC when sleeping and he moves almost all the time! Izzy and he saw each other today, she did NOT Hiss this time. Hopefully they'll be friends soon. Only time will tell.
@Tabatha_Cain ,, did you get back to sleep? LOL Izzy is so funny!!! She's such a little love bug. Looks like Oscar is too. He's such a drama queen when sleeping. LOL I've been laughing, he moves around A LOT!
@Lindiemaep ,,, He's settled in very fast, and is doing great. He goes to the vet for his first check up. The shelter insists on it though their vet saw him a few weeks ago. I think it's a GREAT IDEA!! A FANTASTIC IDEA!!! They do give a coupon that covers the exam. If he needs meds and likely he does, most cats from the shelter have an upper respiratory infection. We'll go from there. It is so FAR from cheap now to have any pets. I did of course take this into account. I'd NEVER have 2 older ones, it's way to much. He'll be fine without a doubt for a few years, to hopefully 10 plus years before costing more than the annual vet visit, I HOPE!! Izzy kitty only saw the vet ONCE LAST year (A RECORD for her!) and that was for only her annual visit. Shots etc. Where we live they are mandatory, and I think that's a great idea. OHH YOU KNOW I'll be watching the game!! ALMOST had people over, but one person can't come (my friend with cancer) we had the asking number of people VERY LOW and I'd only asked one other (was to be 4 of us) when Lynda cancelled,,, Venita couldn't make it (she couldn't before that or she'd be late) and I'd not have a houseful since Oscar is new here, and both cats can NOT be in the same room yet.

@LindieMaeP Yes, the superbowl is tonight (Sunday). We used to do big parties and gatherings for the game but as life changes and we get older it is pretty much just another football game unless one of our teams is playing in it. Shame they don't put out the really good commercials like they used to. All is well... I woke up this morning and the scale didn't move up!😊 Hope you don't get rain all day, but I know if you do you will have a back up plan.
@Oscar is slowly stealing my heart. He is so adorable and to do a Caturday picture is purrfect. Punkin sleeps like Oscar, moving and changing positions every few minutes. It's so funny to watch them sleep when they do that. I'm pretty sure Izzy and Oscar will be best buds shortly.

@Kurtize,,, UGH UGH UGH on the network sorely missing out by being BRATS!!! You can "follow" the game score live though just by putting into search "NFL Super bowl score" and it'll show the score, the quarter and how much time is on the clock. On you tube you can also see various streams of it, they'll be a few minutes behind.

Yesterday in the late afternoon, I was getting ready to walk Billie and her whimper as she put her foot down. I checked it out, and she has a broken nail at the quick and it wasn't detached. With some help, we bandaged her up and will wait to see when I can get her to the doctor tomorrow. Poor thing, she is getting by on three legs. Yes, I'm spoiling her.
Tonight I plan to watch part of the Super Bowl. Being from Missouri, I have to cheer on the Chiefs. Their games are usually exciting.
The word for today and I will keep it for tomorrow is RELEASE.

Well another SuperBowl in the bag...Waa Hoo Chiefs!! They all did their best but no way both teams can win..The idea that there is always next year ..but doesn't put balm on this years bruise!!
Just another quiet day passed with not much going on..turning cold so figuring that it will be time to shore up the woodstove if the forecast turns out to be correct!! Indeed as we need moisture so badly will just celebrate and do my best to stay warm. Yep my knee is being a weather knee,,it flared up today to let me know there are changes coming..wonder if the new knee will do the same..nah sure hope not!!
Ya'al rest well and head into the new week with positive attitudes ..We can do this. Of the various sayings that WW has one that has always stuck with me is ...The program works-if you work the program!! Reckon that could apply to most areas of life aye!!
I hope Billie does OK..poor lil gal she doesn't know what or why just that it hurts Mum!!
