Good morning everyone!
Heading to Houston today, supposedly, ALL US FLIGHTS ON HOLD due to a FAA system failure. It is going to be interesting! The car is still picking me up in 2 hours so I have a long day ahead.
I have not been great about logging. My daughter has had friends here that finally left yesterday. Don't get me wrong, I love having a house full of people, but I tend to get off track with snacking and drinking. The scale isn't going to be pretty Friday but I can't avoid it any longer! Time to get back on track.
My ankle is definitely improving, hoping for a comfortable race Sunday even though it will be hot.
@Pupowl Enjoy your time with your mom!

@Yukie_OP Somehow I missed your original posting but I just put in the request to move you back to active status, move the weigh days to Friday and got you updated and into this month's step challenge. Apologies for my oversight. It was NOT intentional, I promise you. WELCOME BACK!! Your stepping looks amazing! Hope you had a nice holiday season!

💟Daily Check-in💟
I stepped on the scales this morning for a quick peek and was pleasantly surprised to see -2.6 lbs since Friday!
◼️@jessicakrall8 could you please remove me from the steps challenge until further notice? I haven’t been walking outdoors very much recently and would rather do the challenge when I’m more active. Sorry to be a pain! Thank you.
@kodakslim I left you there as it looks like your walking has been great so far. I've put in zeros, but if you have some days when you walk, please report it as they all add up and those are great NSVs to celebrate. You're not a pain...you're just human and sometimes have off days...like we all do! Take care!

Good morning Shape Shifters. I got some last groceries before my mom showed up yesterday. She was happy with her birthday presents and we also finally opened the postcard boxes we bought together. They have been here for a month, but since it was for both of us, I didn't touch them until she was here. Even though the weather wasn't great, we still went out for a 4,5 kilometer walk. We had a little bit of rain, a lot of wind, some sun and a pretty rainbow. I got 66 zone minutes from the walk, so I figured that was enough of a workout for the day.
We got to talking about games in the evening; I told her about worlde, she told me about CodyCross that she does on her phone. It looked pretty fun so I downloaded it and set it to English. It's basically a crossword puzzle game. However, I noticed I was getting dizzy after just 15 minutes of playing. By end of the evening I felt so bad I was afraid I was going to throw up. Thankfully that didn't happen, but I felt horrible. I tried to lay as still as possible in bed so I did manage to sleep okay (until Tinus woke me up meowing his little head off at 6:55). I will test today if it really was the game causing that much trouble or a weird mix of things. I have never gotten dizzy like that before and I guess it was a case of motion sickness, even though I don't think the game is that busy. Happy Thursday everyone
@SavageMrsMoose Thank you, we always have fun together5 -

Here’s my weekly weigh-in report:
Name: PatriceFitnessPal
Weigh-in day: Thursday
PW: 132.5
CW: 133.1
SW: 168
LTD: 34.9
I’m just over 5’3” tall so my target range is 120-130. My weight has been gradually creeping up, mainly due to unhealthy snacking. I was also injured but my hip is much better recently. Now that I’ve been exercising more regularly - and the holiday treats* are gone - I’m looking forward to gradually getting back to my healthier target range. Best wishes, Shape Shifters!
*I feel as though we should call the holiday sweets threats instead of treats! 🫤9 -
This felt great to see this—halfway there!

🟨Daily Check-in: 12 Jan🟨
🥘 Calories: I done well up to a certain point today, but ended up roughly 350 calories over.
👣 Steps: I didn’t have my Fitbit on today so I’ve no idea how many steps I walked. I’ll put 0 for today, and try again tomorrow.
I’m feeling optimistic about tomorrows weigh-in. The numbers on the scales throughout the week have been looking good. I’ll know for sure tomorrow but I think I may have lost around 7 lbs since late December, and I can feel a little difference in how my clothes are fitting which is nice.4 -
My steps
1/8 10,681
1/9 15,650
1/10 10,959

Well done @nancyinmo 🙂
I'm glad you're enjoying spending time with your Mum @Pupowl hope the dizziness subsides soon.
@PatriceFitnessPal I agree with you about treats, they should definitely be renamed threats.I ate the last chocolate snack bar today !4 -

It's 1 of them days where the bed was better and resting these weather bones was best. I've got work day slay tomorrow but my boss understands when I'm in pain and just need to go home early. Not real bad pain as I've had before but I've not been ignoring it so that might be why it's not as bad.6

Hi Shape Shifters, hope you're all having a good week!
This week has been tough. Heavy rain and long work days making it hard to get outside to walk or find time to do other workouts. I'm noticing that when I don't exercise my cravings for bad food increases tooAnyway, looking forward to the weekend! Hopefully the weather is good enough to get out and walk.

Good morning Shape Shifters. Another day with nasty weather here; very windy and very wet. We did manage to go outside for a short bit to walk to the mailbox and browse at the gift store. But otherwise, it was very much a stay inside kind of day. My steps were insanely low the whole day. I ended up having to step an entire hour in the evening to get to my 17.000. It wasn't so bad with music and my mom joined in for a bit as well which was funny. I didn't get dizzy again from playing the game. I turned the sound off, maybe that was enough to make my brain happy. Not sure what was going on. We also did a few games of Rummikub in the evening and went to bed relatively early. Happy Friday everyone4
