Paula I lived in places where there was no equipment. And 90% of drivers had no clue how to drive in those conditions. Scary.

All roads are not plowed here in Casper. Just the main ones, schools and hospitals. But this leaves huge piles in the center. Hard to get across roads. And the side streets are a nightmare. We stopped and joined a group trying to push a car out of a foot of snow yesterday. It was a plowed road. But the wind blew it all back. The elderly couple were in a low car and he was attempting to get it moving. I stopped traffic to allow those pushing to get the car into the oncoming lane where it was only ice. Once there the woman was able to get it moving and across the street where her husband joined her. It was a great moment of community coming together to help each other. The wind was awful and I was literally pushed by it along the icy road. I just pretended to be ice-skating and luckily did not fall as I made my way back to my vehicle.

Wow, Shelley!! That's so good of you guys helping your neighbor out of the snow. You get 10 Kindness Points for that cool deed!!
I'm sitting and debating if I'll put my walking shoes on or not. I keep watching the palm tree for wind strength and the clouds for wet stuff. Got a really bad case of the lazies!!

Okay, I kicked the lazies to the curb and put on my shoes then did 6.16 miles in 119 mins...cold, windy and sprinkles of rain! Now I'm going to read for a while.

Going to my Collin Duty in a bit then to my trainer for 60 mins. She was sick on Friday, so I cancelled our time together. I don't want to risk anything when I'm so close to Collin and Ronan...oh, and everybody else, of course!!
    Hope everyone is doing okay.

Chris glad you kicked the lazies. I don't blame you for not wanting to get the boys sick either.

I am going to start getting the popcorn ceiling removed from the final room in my house. And then paint it also.

    Wish me luck.

    Shell,

My favorite exercise is doing fixit stuff around the house. It just feels productive and the time flies faster. Popcorn ceilings sound like a pretty darn good arm workout.

I did NOT weigh this morning. Went into major cheat day mode yesterday and am going to employ my new ability to climb hills today to help mitigate the damage. Plus I took the 5000/steps @ 3days task on the challenge, so that's three days of major hikes for me.

Caffeine has soaked in, so with enuf bfast to fuel my belly, it's time to head down to the post office in the wet. It was pouring this morning but there's only drizzle right now. Gonna find out which way the weather turns in the next hour. My legs are looking forward to it.

Chris I miss summer also. :grumble:

Paula I so agree. I love doing projects around the home. The room is not large so it should not take forever. But the tediousness of it might take a bit. I will be doing quite a bit of picky work. I want it to look great before I prime it. Enjoy those hills!

I have been looking up videos on the dog whisperer. Want to work with Barney more again.
