I was focused on basketball games today. Caught the women's tournament and was so amazed at the 3 pointers. It made me wish we had women's teams in school.
Glad to report that all my furries behaved today.
Since it is 10:40 I won't comment on all the posts but did read them all. I will thank @catwmncat for the guidance on the stove. It's been ordered and it will be similar to what I had. It is easy to keep clean.

It is so nice that your step daughter wants you to shop for her wedding dress with her, it shows how much she cares about you. I hope you are all doing well today. I went dress shopping with my step daughter and got my make up done as a trial for the wedding. Here is the make up photo for you all to see.:
Usually I wear glasses but I wanted to be able to show the make up. I like it. It is just enough and not too much. My kids love it and I think it will be great. I am so excited. Only 96 days left to go.
@ginnaboots - I had a make up artist do my make up. My step daughter did find her dress. It is very pretty. I am glad I got to be there for her.

@NovemberGail - Congrats on the new stove. It will be nice that it is similar to what you already have.
@Catwmncat - I am glad she decided to share with me. I wish her mother could be here. Her mother died when she was 4. I grew up with her Mom and we stopped hanging out in middle school so I think it helps that I atleast knew her mom. It is weird how life happens like that. Joe and I dated in high school and then he goes on to marry someone I grew up with but she did not go to our school. Then we are back together again getting married.

@Catwmncat -Where is the hot fudge and caramel on that ice cream? LOL. You showed great restraint in my opinion. I don't care for ice cream, but when my husband stops for his yearly banana split, I take a spoonful of caramel and hot fudge!

good afternoon everyone! it is a beautiful sunny day here today. my daughter says hi to all. she is doing really well in her courses and she is enjoying all of them. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i did my strength training workout earlier this morning and i really enjoyed it. i went for a walk a while ago and i feel great! i will be doing some dancing later on. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.0

@Dianedoessmiles1 -lol about wanting the 10! It's first day of spring so snow can be done?! Our school already planned when they are giving back our unused snow days. We'll have a 5 day break for memorial day and an extra day of spring break. No snow on the ground here-but super cold yesterday. Mall was pretty crowded - it's didn't get above 34 feels like 28 yesterday.

Happy Spring, according to equinox actual time for central time is 4:24 pm. We are going to have thunder storms this week. I think Thursday and on Sunday.
It is cloudy, overcast and 58 outside. Mopped floors this morning. Other than that nothing exciting here. Well have a great day and hopefully will be enjoying beautiful spring weather.

@Catwmncat: The philosophy or principle of eating the entire gallon in one setting so you are not tempted later made so much sense. Too many times I've eaten the whole thing to just get it out of my sight and system.
Today enjoyed a very active day first day of spring. Hiked through the woods, repaired mole holes--shoveling the extra dirt, raking, and seeding; cleaned a cottage.
Update: My new range/oven arrived. Nothing heavier than a feather is going to be placed above the glass top.
Billie goes to the vet tomorrow to have two teeth pulled. Nothing too serious (easy for me to say).
Tomorrow's word is power.

Good evening everyone, I read all the posts, but won't comment except to let @Tabatha_Cain know how beautiful she looks and her makeup is not over done !! it is beautiful. Have a good evening everyone and enjoy the pictures, they are from a Chinese Dance Studio that opened up in the neighbourhood and had about 20+ boquets out so I took some pictures of some at close up - well they were outside and I enjoyed them lol

@Bookienj,, We were short on snow, and now we are only 6"s under our normal, but BUT!! LOL, it may snow this weekend. MAY! It melts faster at this time of year of course.
@Novembergail , ,, I am so sorry hon!! Izzy lost 1 back in 2021. She was so much happier as I brought her home. Unlike a child they can't tell us it hurts. Billie will feel so much better. I know my vet's office kept Izzy in sight all day long.

I know I've not been here as normal, but that's likely to continue for a bit. NOTHING is wrong, actually, we are setting up our teams for you all to join us!! This takes a lot of work from the OALs which we enjoy. It does though take a bit of time.

Good Morning Airport Friends:
I hope your mornings are going well. Today is going to be a challenge. I have life training today and I don't really want to do that. I don't need it and I won't use it in my next job. My son is acting like he is dying and he just has a cold. Possibly strep throat. His throat is really sore, he cannot breathe and everything hurts and he is super cold. It is funny to see him turn into a man child when he is sick and we as women do so much when we are ill. I know I should not make fun of him but we joke so at least he is still in a joking mood.
@NovemberGail - It is great. I am so happy about it. Thank you for the comment about the photo. I need to get more active. I am not sure how though.
@LindieMaeP - Thank you so much. I am super happy with my make up look. I am glad.

Good morning everyone, well are you having a good day today? I hope you are. I am having a good day, just gotta finish freezing and bagging the mushrooms that I steamed. Should be doing that now but decided to stop in and wave hi to everyone. The picture below is my daughter's dog Meeka - yes she quite the charactor, failed doggie daycare, was misplaced on planes ( my daughter does nursing up north and has to be flown in for her shift and where she goes Meeka goes) got a nice doggie bath and then went and rolled in mud so had to have another... ahuh .. well match to her human I can tell ya that LOL Have a good day and don't sweat the small stuff eh !!

@Tabatha_Cain Love the make up!!!! It is perfect and will look fabulous with the hairdo you shared earlier. You are going to be one beautiful bride! It is really neat how fate I am a HUGE believer that everything works out the way it is supposed to and I believe if things are meant to happen they will... If it is true love and if they are the one they will return, even if it is many years and/or relationships later. It doesn't only happen in the movies and you and Joe are proof!
@NovemberGail sad part about eating the whole container of ice cream so that it is all gone is I had to replace it today because it was for hubs... do I need to replace it again? Your oven arrived very fast! Enjoy it and may you only cook healthy foods it... or at least foods you thoroughly enjoy.
@ginnaboots I prefer my ice cream plain! I know weird, but I want to taste it not the toppings. Sprinkles are okay, but that's about it.

I hope you are having a good morning. Today is going to be a good day. I am sure it is going to be an interesting day with me giving my 2 week notice at work today. As soon as I complete my drug test for the new job then I am going to give my 2 week notice for my current job. We will see how it goes. I think he is going to be so upset that I am leaving. However I could be wrong. I am not sure. I do still have to write my resignation letter.

Good Morning!
I thought I had posted last night and realize I only thought I had posted. Billie is one worn out dog. The poor little girl didn't move from bed once I got her home. This morning she did wag her tail so the healing is already happening. The vet says to keep her from much activity for seven days. The technician just smiled at me, like "Yeah, that will be easy." She also had three very small skin tumors removed.
The new stove is awesome. It looks almost like my old one and heats up in a hurry. I'll really christen it tomorrow when I make fried chicken.
@jeanhickokhaley1: California is just getting pelted. Sounds like the cyclone didn't it your area as hard.
@Tabatha_Cain: The wheels of change just keep moving. You will feel so relieved once you get your jobs settled.
